That wasn't a tennis match, that was two men serving at each other. I'm surprised it didn't get suspended before it did, either player (most likely Isner) could have quite easily collapsed on court having not eaten properly for 9 hours. If they do manage to play tomorrow, I can't see the match lasting all that long :P

England and the USA will be playing either Ghana, Germany, Serbia or Australia. It all depends on the results this evening.

England were good, but still not great. Going to have to pray that Ghana beat or draw with Germany as I don't rate England's chances against Germany. It was good to finally have a good/fair referee for a change as well :thumbup:

I was just about to make this topic myself! What a game to open the tournament and almost one of the biggest shocks in Tennis ever but as usual Federer found his game when he needed it. I'd love to see Rod[bleep] in the final again and maybe with Hewitt (not sure if the draw allows this), not going to happen but I can dream :P I reckon Fish will go far, possibly the quarters or semis :thumbup:

According to the commentators over here, it could be as much as a 4 match ban. However because Kaka didn't do anything wrong I doubt it will happen. Hopefully Keita will get suspended for that blatant dive as well.

The European teams (with the exception of The Netherlands) all seem to be struggling, games that should be a walk over for them have been hard fought draws or even losses so they're obviously not adapting to something as well as other sides. Seems this World Cup is being largely dominated by lower ranked teams throwing everyone in defence, an apparently terrible ball, some often questionable referring decisions and some impressive goal keeping blunders :unsure: Really hoping for some nice attacking football from Brazil and Ivory Coast tonight though :thumbup:

Australia should have won that, they were the better team even with 10 men for over an hour of the game, does make me wonder what the score would have been if Kewell hadn't hand balled it. It would be great if Australia managed to get to the last 16, although not sure Ghana will challenge Germany too much.

England were poor and don't deserve to be in the last 16 at all, although if they don't improve I can see them getting comfortably beaten by Slovenia on Wednesday anyway. The thing is though it seems Algeria did what all the other lower ranked teams are doing and just pulled everyone back into defence the moment England got the ball in the Algerian half and killed the game. I think even if England were playing well they wouldn't have run riot as was expected. The Cup is getting more interesting, but I still feel this Italy style of defending is ruining it and punishing teams who actually make an effort to push forwards like Spain. Hopefully in the final week of group games we'll see some more attacking football as teams like England and France realise it is pretty much all or nothing but I wont hold my breath :P On the plus side, this was the first match I've watched where singing drowned out the vuvuzelas :thumbup:

Basilisks were my first thought, they're not particularly dangerous and do drop them fairly often. They're pretty reasonable for charms too, though that might not be so useful if you have a high summoning level.

Isn't Fabregas injured or have I heard things wrong? Major shock for Spain, they were all over Switzerland and at times Switzerland looked a bit of a mess but they knew what they had to do and did it well. The tournament needed that shock to kick it into gear in my opinion. Hopefully this next week will bring us some more good matches and maybe some more shocks :thumbup:

You have to wait until the Skinweaver tells you to close the tunnels and you can only do one at a time. I think it's 3 or 4 kills in between closing each tunnel. Hope this helps :^_^:

Hmmm, how many people thought Spain would go behind against Switzerland? :P Seems a lot of the big teams are starting the tournament a bit nervy.

Well if you want to believe the media, because they favour Vettel :P In all seriousness though, that was ridiculous. He could have finished 3rd, maybe 2nd had they pit him when he had his 11 second lead, but instead they waited until Hamilton was on top of him. Best race of the season by far though! Hope to see Schumacher penalised for his appalling defending against Kubica and Massa, seems he thinks he's an exception to the rules. Alonso was unlucky to have been overtaken as a result of traffic by both McLarens. Huge congratulations to Kovalainen for finally finishing above one of the big teams and job well done to Lotus too :thumbup:

Hopefully Green's incompetence in goal will mean he's a bench warmer for the rest of the cup (which might not be very long for England). That being said, England shouldn't have been in the position to have their chance of victory ruined by one goal. If they want to win the world cup or at least get to the semis they need to start converting more of their chances. It's going to be interesting to see who out of England and the USA win that group :thumbup:

I reckon it will be a Spain vs Brazil final with Spain winning it. They have just been so impressive these last few years it's hard to see how anyone will beat them. England have been overhyped by the media (at least in Britain anyway) and will cruise through the group stages but not convinced they'll make it past the quarters. As Lateralus said they have been shocking in their recent friendlies so unless there is some improvement they aren't going to even make the predicted Semis. I'll probably be backing Italy again, they may not be the best team to watch but I like them for some reason :P

To be honest, anyone who thought the UK was going to come higher than last with that rubbish was delusional. I'm glad Germany won, not only was their song the best in my opinion but it shows this voting system introduced last year has removed a fair bit of the political voting.

My dislike of Vettel is growing more and more, quite simply he's a dangerous driver but I am glad that Webber managed to finish the race and I hope he beats Vettel in the drivers championship. Aside from that incident and the battle between Button and Hamilton that was probably the worst race of the season for entertainment value. Ferrari and Mercedes need to get a move on, they're in danger of being passed by Renault.

I don't think a quest has frustrated me so much before in Runescape :lol: It's a nice sense of accomplishment doing it without a guide, though I wouldn't recommend it if you don't have much patience :P

I might take part in a future one, got no competitive pokemon at the moment as I'm too busy trying to train up to beat Red :P Someone will have to explain all the Shoddy and Smogon server stuff to me though :oops:

If you have the English version of the game you get a French Pikachu and if you have the Japanese version you get an English Pikachu. Hmm, I know you're supposed to get a French one. Does anyone know if the code used to give you certain items or pokemon in Wifi events remains in the game card forever or if it's a one time use? Like, with the Enigma Stone event on HGSS would I get given the Enigma Stone every time I play through the game or would I only get it once?

Like Beloved said, I'm fine with it as long as it isn't permanent as it isn't doing any harm and it's quite nice to look at :P
