It would be ok if you actually showed any progression, but all of your sigs are incredibly similar, i can see no improvement at all. Very simple to make, renders ontop of C4D's, you need to blend the render alot more, at the moment blending is non-existant. I suggest getting new fonts and having a look at a few tuts. It is also considered spam to post your sig after every post, i don't even understand why you do, it's very simple to resize....

Nice work, the linework is great, very realistic, although the shading isn't quite up to scratch, especially the rims, they look very flat. And it is a ferrari, 360 something i'm sure.

Looking pretty s[bleep]y, it's a well written, easy to follow and understand guide, well worth the sticky. Completly different to how i make my sigs though :lol: Gonna submit it to GU's tutorial section?

Looking really nice so far, although some of the blending is a bit iffy, especially on the shoulder plate. The scarf's shadows aren't really lifelike yet, but as it's a wip i assume that it will all be fixed. Looking forward to updates!

Very nice, as you've said, it's been a while lol. Oh, whats that? you want to make a 1900x1200 wallpaper? oh fantastic! :D The only thing to comment on is the fog? down the middle, center. It looks wierd, not continous shading, looks like a badly shaded pixel.

Not bad, doesn't really do anything for me though. Prefer no.1, watch out for non-transparent corners, especially on no. 3 RHS.

There very nice, great work LP, you certainly have an eye for the interesting. The 2nd bark one and the pipes grabbed my attention, well done.

My mum's school had one around 4 years ago (she's a kindergarten teacher, thats the first grade of school when your 5/6 for those who don't no) Some person rang up and said that there was a bomb in the main building, so the whole school had to go to a local oval 3 streets away the whole day. Turned out that there wasn't anything at all in the building (ofcourse) but the kids had a ball. Thats hilarious insane with the anthrax.

Option D 1. Playstation 3 2. Wii 3. Xbox 360 Without brining predjudice into it, i've always owned a playstation :-w Nah its looking great, i'm saving for it atm. I think that the xbox is pretty crumby myself, the core system is crap frankly. Having a blu ray player is gonna be handy too if that is what future movies will be released on, and as i just bought a second screen (got a laptop atm) and a TV tuner, i won't ever need to leave my bedroom! (jks lol, i'm not that strange.)

Is it you? because if it is your not meant to have rl photo's :wink: It's basically bluring and a colour change/gradient map, not that hard, although you did suceed well in removing the freckelss, if it's you i would say that you were conscious of them lol.

I recently bought a Pentax optio w10. It's a great camera, heaps of functions, 6mp, 3x optical zoom and it's waterproof! I've taken it into the surf quite a bit, it works great al around. The macro is great and it takes SD cards, which is a bonus as my dell laptop has a slot for them. Cost me around $500 AU but there is a new model out now, not sure of pricing. Goodluck getting a camera.

Awesome work so far, the colour scheme is great. I've been having a go at 3d myself, making simple things with straight edges lol. Only bit i don't like is his calfs, i no that it is cartoony but it looks kinda silly, with the tiny knees. Will you be making an animation? that would be cool. It would be easy in c4d i f you had the mograph plug in for him to go through a brick wall.

LP i use my dad's old Nikon F-601 with a Nkon 35-105mm lense. It's a good camera, got many manual functions. Thanks for the comments everyone, yes Woop i still use a darkroom for my photo's, it's fun. Much better then getting a machine to do it for you, but with colour photography that is the only way. It's great seeing your pictures sort of disolve onto the paper when you put it in the developer, if you havn't tried it you must.

After many a comment about how i do b&w photography on others threads, i have finnaly decided to post some of my best, and more recent work. Comparison I won an award for this photo, and it is in the school callendar which is distributed freely to the 1500 students at my school :) This is my personal favourite. Mucking around with macro, i shot a whole role of film in my backyard, which isn't that big, focusing on flowers and textures, contrast is very important. [img[http] This photo was taken at the steps going down to the wharf at my school. The bridge i have to cross everyday to get to the school and the main part of sydney. Once of my favourites, i wonder if anyone knows where/what it's called... The Treelogy (pronouced trilogy (and consisting of 2 photo's.... at the moment)) Grassmere Fig The first photo in the treelogy, taken at a friends farm. It is a fig tree, and the property is called grassmere, hence the name. Twist! Taken on the foreshore of my school. part 2 of the treelogy. Most of the photo's were scanned in, except the last two which are currently in poster size and hanging in the family room and had to be photographed, hence the horrble quality and light reflection (no i did not use the flash). When or where i am going to find the 3rd tree i don't know. I leave you with a very cool photo. I took it with my new digital camera (pentax optio w10) which is waterproof. The photo was taken in my friends spa. Looks like ice doesn't it? Btw, feel free to make manips of these photo's, but make sure you post em here and credit me if you use as a sig, thx.

I totally agree, ratings are the most useless things in the world, unless you have something to compare it to, like the best and the worst work in the world, which no-one does. Looking great, you should make a sig painting sometime, although it would probably be huge in kb. Looking forward to updates :)

nice work, i especially like the first one woop. I think that many of them would look in B&W, good photo's are very hard to take in colour. The barn one and the leaves, possibly the flowers would be cool. It's a dissapointment that your officially leaving sig making behind, but i kinda figured as you havn't made anything in several months. Nice to see you've found another passion, one that i enjoy myself, cept that the darkroom stuff is much better IMO, you have to try it if you havn't.

I was just about to post that lol nadril. Nice work Jak, very good for your first, amazing compared to someones. I prefer the first one although you need to improve in the text department. Grab some nice fonts and place the text on one of the C4D's edges, or replace the glowing part of the sword, that would be very cool.

Nice work, but is the person on the right a guy or a girl? because with the way you shaded it looks as if he/she has breasts.
