Wasn't Dragon Slayer released around Sep 2001? Remember it coming out a few months after I started and beat it towards the end of the year. The line of people going into Oziach's little house was long as crap. That was something really fun in RSC, trying to click on the NPC when a new quest came out and there was bucket-loads of people trying to do the same thing. Ah, talking to the NPC and then not clicking any of the little blue options and holding up EVERYONE. I did that when Waterfall came out. :lol:

Yes, because hundreds of servers that can all hold 2k people suck. When they crash boot everyone on them off, and Jagex haven't released a statement declaring responsibility and so far haven't been seen to be doing anything about it. Then yes, they suck.

Maybe not 1.5k, well they were lower than that at one point so you never know.. But nowhere near as expensive as they are atm. What I mean to say is that Jagex haven't solved the problem of bots at all. They are still around, and will return in greater numbers once if they give free trade to all accounts.

So nobody remembers when D Bones were down at 1.5k each BEFORE the wildy was altered, easy to escape from NPC's and the Chaos Tunnels were introduced then..? :rolleyes:

A boring dwarf quest, another crap double xp moment where Jagex try to lure in new members and some absolutely heinous addition to RS Lore. I'll have the armour in about 2 years time when everyone leaves to play Stellar Dawn..

Not a word. Jagex mucking about with this lore is like adding "and Jesus rode off into the sunset on his unicorn" to the end of the bible. BLASPHEMY!

Since it's all theory, we can as loosely look at it as we want. I can highlight things too. When RS Players dream up lore it generally goes like this: "What mysteries are there in RS?" "Frozen Door, Zaros.." ".... ZAROS IS BEHIND THE DOOR". or the classic "hey look, mining cart in meiyerditch and mourner HQ have same examine.." "ELVES AND VAMPIRES WORKING TOGETHER". I don't mind making up theories and things, but please be sensible and realistic about them. (Yes even fantasy MMORPG's need some sense of game-based realism).

And everyone thought that the vampires and elves were working together... :lol: Actual lol.

Some people in this topic seem to be under the delusion that this repeal means that gay people will suddenly flock to the army. Newsflash, there are already gay and lesbian soldiers in the army, DADT simply meant that they had to hide their sexual preference. Removing DADT is less about letting gay people serve in the army and more about improving what little rights they do have.

It's not that one will replace the other, it's that now we will have both. Jagex have not shown us that they can deal with the bots now, how could they possibly deal with more bots when this update goes through? Judging by what they said they just had a breakthrough in the last month or so with bot technology. I understand people not wanting to read what they say though considering they're too busy worrying about how terrible runescape is going to become. You mean their technology which resets stats but leaves all item and monetary gain on the character? :rolleyes: I'd like to see it in practice before they implement free-trade and destroy the game. That said.. cheaper d bones ftw.

I for one didn't stand against Jagex. I never pk'ed and didn't dish out partyhats willynilly so the changes didn't actually affect me. Infact I benefited with the grand exchange! At least dragon bones should be cheaper if free trade returns. :lol:

Staking will be pretty much terrible lol. All you need is Korasi's Sword and a spec restore potion. :rolleyes: Unless they have a no spec option? I dunno since I don't "stake".

Jagex is not capable of fixing any of that under any circumstances. I smell a hint of sarcasm coming from Emmentail. I'm practically sweating sarcasm. Voted no in our little tip.it poll btw.

Join dates on tipit =/= rs join dates. I started a couple of years before I ever signed up to the tip.it forums.

Perhaps you should take heed of your own advice. Randomly pulling out figures of people who might have printscreened something is about as accurate as, oh I don't know saying that the old wildy is coming back stating "hear-say" as your evidence.

Oh wait. Then realise that ultimately these accounts are still going to face a ban. There's no second chance given. Face a ban? Only if they break more rules. Someone could bot hunter to 99, gain millions, have their skill reset and then carry on playing as a rule-abiding person. Jagex are putting money as a much higher priority than player satisfaction and fairplay. The two used to be level.
