It's getting boring repeating myself but... i understand exactly what you're suggesting. And i can only assume you've never tried coding anything? Your suggestion would be more complicated to code and waste far more database space for no good reason. Rare drops are random. I thought everyone knew that :P So you've been lucky after sever refreshes in the past. that doesn't really prove anything, adn the more you believe it the more you'll bend your results to see what you want to from it anyway.

it makes alot of sense. if you train at GDS or other locations for some hours, you'll find that the same monster never drops the rare item twice in a row, so if u get a rune large, your gonna wait 30-60 mins for the next one, perhaps longer. this rule is reset when the server refreshes, meaning the rune large the demon dropped 1 min ago is liable to be on the monster again after a server reset, meaning you can in theory gain 2 rune larges in 5 minutes from the same monster, and in theory 4 rune larges in 5 mins , as there are 2 demons ;) get it ? I understand what you're saying, i just think it's wrong. As far as i'm concerned, the way rare drops are worked out on rs is the same as spinning a roulette wheel. The chance of getting a 0 is always 1/37, even if you're juve got a 0. For what you're saying to be true, the rare system would have to remember where and when rare drops are given out, then calculate another random number basedon that to predetermin when the next drop will be. I can't believe jagex would put in such a complicated system when my version is so much more straightforward.

Same here. I only have one rl mate who knows i play runescape. Everyone else isn't that interested in computers.

This makes no sense. it's not as if monsters start by dropping the best items, then the second best, then the worst till a new server update? :/

Thanks for trying, but i've already read the tip.it guide. I can't find any crates next to the staircase... Anyone know what floor it's meant to be on? There are sacks and crates on the basement floor just before the mines, Crates you cant' search in the chef's kitchen Two crates one north one wouth on the first floor, along with two chests in the two rooms Two sacks on the top floor And that's it for searchable items as far as i can see?

The blood guy uses two different types of attack, think it's mage and range. If you try to range from behind the fense he will teleport next to you unless you fluke a glitch. Apparently if you slowly walk north you can get to a stage where he's caught between teleporting back to you, and returning to the tomb because you've left, and in that state you can hit him safely... but i didn't manage to do it, just killed him normally with mage.

I've got a clue that says i need to search a crate in the left hand tower of lumbridge castle :/ For a start there isn't really any left hand tower... just north and south staircases. Although i guess it means the south one. Anyway, more importantly, i've no idea where this crate is. There aren't any crates next to the staircases :/ And i think i've searched every crate on all 4 floors, but nothing... Any help?

Banning multiple logs i can understand - people being able to get double or triple productivity out of their time have an unfair advantage over others. But why ban all item transfers? I guess it means you can get pures and level up a new char slightly easier, but so what?

Urgh, the people trying to push nats up are really annoying me. The suggestion that a 20 gp rise in the price of ess merits a 100 gp rise in the price of nats is ridiculous.

The gamble is all part of the fun ;) If you bought it yesterday for 30 you can make a definite profit of 10-20 ea now. If you wait a few days until people start to get worried, you might make a profit of 40-60. Or the price might go back down and you make no profit at all :P I reckon it won't drop back below 50ea now, so in that case you can't lose by saving it for a few days. But it might... Btw, if you plan on crafting deaths/laws/nats any time soon, definately save it.

Btw folks, stupid as it sounds, don't get scammed by people swapping pure ess for rune ess at the last minute. I just did in a 1k scam :o 1k gp that is :P

Sold all my ess but i'm thinking i was a bit hasty now :P My prediction is ess will be 75 by the end of the day. Merchers have started buying hard at 50, few idiots still trying for 200+ but a lot of people are selling at 50

Is the exp the same for mining pure ess? :/ Can't imagine who's going to want to mine ess now... The price fluctuations on the forum are fascinating. Sellers started pushing 100ea, buyers sticking to 30, now buyers are slowly realising noone will sell and the price is slowly rising. I'm sure the price will rise, because of the lack of new ess, it's just a question of how much. I've pitched my ess at 50 ea, which is lower than most people, and i don't really care if prices rise more than that long term - in and out with a bit of profit is good enough for me.

Not if you're f2p with no member items, which i think it kinda unfair. Guess pure ess is a member only item?
