Tip.It Needs your help - New mage training area items!
I've seen absolutely no proof of this yet. It's been mentioned on a couple of threads on the RS forum, but i've never seen it confirmed by a mod. It's only been mentioned on here as "i read on teh RS forum...", which is nothing like proof. Until i see pics i'm going to put this down to yet another rumour made up by ppl with too much time on their hands.

Everything you mentioned had already been said, apart from this which is wrong :P You don't get free laws, and you get 10 pizazz points as a bonus.

Mod Murdoch whips Autoers
The fact that a mod checking out for autoers is so unusual that it merits a thread strikes me as pretty depressing really.

Quests
Am i the only person who can't stand quests? I've done a fair few, altho nowhere near all of them, but each one has been done purely because i wanted the reward. While occationally there's a quest i enjoy (i seem to remember liking Dragon Slayer, for example) most of the time the experience is just tedious. Atm i'm doign the Digsite quest, which is a pretty good illustration of this. For anyone who hasn't done it, it's basically run run run talk talk talk search search search search search search search search search run run run talk talk talk run run run talk talk talk search search search search search search talk talk talk bang head against wall run run run so far (i'm about halfway through). I'm not complaining, i appreciate that a lot of people enjoy doing quests and that Jagex work hard to make them. I just wonder if i'm alone in my dislike.

The community is getting really bad
Heh, i remember the last time i was cutting magic logs i got a spinich roll. To relieve the boredom of waiting for trees i started joking about how it was the most amazing titem i'd ever had etc, and got a stream of abuse from some random guy. Then, when a couple of people tried to calm things down he started ranting at them too. I find it hilarious, and it surprises me that so many people get worked up about it; who cares if some overexcited kid across the other side of the world has a tantrum? Some of the stuff they come out with (especially insults and attempts to get around the filter) are pure comic gold. They make fools of themselves, and you don't rise to the bait. They either carry on ranting and making you laugh, or realise how stupid they look and leave sheepishly. Either way it's win win.

Merchanting or RuneCrafing? Which do you find better?
I wouldn't call buying runes from a shop merchanting - sure, techincally, it's mercahnting but then so is selling the nats you've crafted. 'Real' merchanting, when you're talking about Runescape is, in my eyes, buying goods of players and selling them on for more money. Out of buying runes and nat running, i'd say nat running is more interesting and gets you exp, so is the better option. Out of rc and merchanting i'd do both; merchant while rcing.

I smell over-powered...ness Also, one question: Are the prices for the runes each or for the set of 100? You can get well over double that bonus for melee defence. I smell under-powered...ness.

How much do you play RS?
Hmm. Possibly an hour or two a day on average, but it totally depends on what i'm doing and how bored i am. Yesterday i probably played for about 5 minutes, but i've been known to play for well over 5 hours too.

Why is Smithing So Popular?
Correct, from a monetary point of view you're making a profit, but it's irrational to suggest that such a blinkered view provides a realistic conecpt of wealth. Unless you'd like to go craft 100,000 nats and sell them to me for 1gp, because you'll clearly have more money afterwards so it must be a good deal ;) And sorry if my previous post sounded a bit more surley than i intended.

lol, i feel all important now
There's a few momorable moments so far in rs for me: `Cutting my first 1k willows. Then being scammed when i sold them and nearly quitting :( `Lvl 70 fletching was a big one, because going from 40-70 fletching willow longs nearly drove me crazy (just checked on the skill calc... 17,000 willows :o) `75 wc was also nice, i'd had above 70 for ages but never could bring myself to get over 75. It's the only skill i can do everything in :) `I would say my first ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã1m, but i had it in items for ages before i got it in gold, so i didn't feel that rich. `Buying d legs - my first dragon item. `Getting ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã5m.

You might want to google for the phrase 'opportunity cost'. It's one of the most basic concepts in economics, and one that you don't seem to have the grasp of.

Is it confirmed that there are no special bonuses other than the mage bonuses already stated? Like; full robes gives a prayer bonus, or master wand can auto cast something interesting etc?

Time to start crafting Cosmics instead of Nats and Laws?
The fact is that the shop price is a massive force pulling against price rise, and the ease of making good money at far lower levels than double nats (and lots more money than single nats) suggests there will be a reasonable supply of people keep to cash in. Add to this the fact that from now demand is unlikely to increase after this initial mad rush, and i can only see prices falling. Atm the forums seems to be a mad clash after a big rush of buyers early on, and an influx of high price sellers afterwards. I can't see prices staying above 200, and in fact i think they might even fall to around 160-180, slightly more money than nats to run double but tempered by less exp. Cosmics have been around 100 for a very long time. Perhaps to idiots you could sell 300 ea, but not as a general rule. Unless you're in Australia or something and by yesterday you mean just after the update ;)

Do you have a picture of the Master Wand? Where did you get this info from?

I'll give you one guess! :P Green or not, you have to buy it to use it. I assume the peaches are better health than bananas, and give more points in the graveyard minigame. This isn't confirmed as i don't think anyone has it yet.
