I found minotaurs were quite good with trout, and I filled with skulls about as fast as I ate it. This was during 65 strength and up. If you used salmon and left skulls alone you could last there for quite a while. I never left a skull behind (512 and counting!) They also drop awesome amounts of irons, which are great for pure training. And 1 def pures rule, btw. Members is unnessescary, just know where to train.

If I'm not mistaken, monsters max hit can be used to determine that in general, their melee stats are completely balanced and their hp is obscure. I'm not sure about monsters that use alternate combat forms...

Best Way to Get 30,000 Air Runes 15,000 Mind Runes
evanboy70 replied to englandman66's topic in Help and Advice
Well, to be fair, you won't need to craft them 'all', in that as your runecrafting level gets better, you create multiple runes per essence. But without buying them or making them yourself, you're kinda out of luck. You could try Air crafting on world 16, it'll be a whole lot faster than crafting them yourself, but cost a fair bit more. -
Making the kill against another player. I just love seeing the message, even if they just drop a piece of junk, and protect their weapon or whatever, I just get really giddy. Butterflys in my stomach ftw.
-
No idea, but just take them with full range gear for neg mage bunus and positive mage defence, then head over to post sarim and find the fire mage. He'll barely hit you, and you'll splash almost every time.

Woudl you like to exchange your member items for....
evanboy70 replied to Xraven92's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Except then p2p could simply fill their bank with junk that they have to click click click to sell anyways, wait for expiration, and it would be instant instead of taking time. Not sure of what items members treat like that, but on f2p we have to do that to tiaras, hardbodies, whatever. Instead, members objects should sell for standard price at a gen, and just not show up in the shop inventory. -
*Nods at sig* I prefer when people say something really dumb rather than insanely witty. I'm more likely to laugh irl at people being morons than people dissing them.

Yah, if the safespots aren't always safe, they aren't really a safespot. more of a block after they've become friendly. (about 13 minutes, give or take) I personally feel that lessers are far far better for drops, and based on the dificulty of getting safe, probably xp as well. Ankous are just too hard to block, and I have yet to see an actual safe spot that isn't just a block.

Thats exactly what I'm going for, as I stated, it's for my pure. Will I be able to run longer than players in their pajamas even if I'm wearing, say full armour?

If I were to get membership for one month, and train agility for and hour a day and 2 hours on weekend days, nothing but agility, how high could I get it within that month? I'm thinking of raising my pure's agility, but I'm wondering if it'd be worthwhile. Is agility's effects at lower levels (ie the level I could get in a month) worth the membership fee?

After losing my tutorial gear and 30, count em, 30 gold that I got from goblins (must have fought like, 2 goblins, but it seemed like a ton. I got a lot of runes too) to a filthy lurer, who convinced me that his friend who 'lived' in the wilderness (didn't even know what that was) would give me a sword, I tried to bargain with him for my stuff back. I was such a newb, i thought scammers gave stuff back. LOL!

How is this a rant, or in any way a newly made topic? We KNOW that f2p get a free game, and aren't particularly entitled to anything. This is old news. please stop bringing it up. THe f2p that whine and complain will always whine and complain, and there will always be members who whine about their updates and the f2p's whining for updates. These are small very vocal minorities, so just forget about them and hope they'll go away.

And Jagex being aware of morons using the word noob would be something new? They aren't going to do anything about an imaginary word. Its a lame and pathetic insult that only gets on some peoples nerves. Just don't worry about it.

I'm gonna make an estimate: Currency:1 Coins Bait:2 Feathers Fish Bait Arrows:7 Training Bronze Bolts Bronze Iron Steel Mithril Addy Crafting:2 Thread Needle Quest:1 Steel Nails Runes:10 Air Fire Earth Water Mind Body Chaos Nature Law Death Totals to 23. Pretty pitiful, less than an inventory, but I'm almost positive I'm forgetting something... Course, there's also notes, so theres as many as there are tradable items... minus 22 since stackables can't be noted and training arrows aren't tradable.

Dude, mole no contest. So what the others have special attributes, the mole would get his evil bug cronies to simply 1-1-1-1-1-1 spam all the bigger guys, and they wouldn't stand a chance. I don't see any candle on any of the others, and magic has proven that magic flames just don't cut it.

I hate the studs, lose em. If you want to show off your wealth, go for (g) robes, but the thing about a skilling outfit is that it's just supposed to look good. If you have any holiday gear that few people have now a days, wear it. Rubber chicken makes a great weapon, as it's always a conversation piece, to those who know of its powers and those who don't. Festive hats and scarves are a nice addition as well, with light colors and light weight. Prince robes with a wizzy g hat and rainbow boots look cool. Oh, and I hate sheilds. Either opt for a rune 2h, or simply forget about filling that slot.

Well, since I collect all those little kills, whether it's 1 gp or 200 gp, I grab it all, probably not much more than 1k. I only leave gold behind if I'm carrying a full inv of something when I walk by, so its bound to be a small amount.

Thanks guys. Yah, i knew about the past 20 wild bit, though I personally think it should work more like jewlery , but that it can be operated from combat is a good thing to know. And a big thanks to jagex for operate. I can use my Skull Sceptre and my rubber chicken while weilding them. Yay!
-
So I was walking around with my skull sceptre, because it looks freaking awesome, and some guy starts following me and complaining about how it sacks (censor evasion, much?). Anyway, I agree with him that it has poor offensive qualities, which it does, but he says you can't teleport with it from combat. I've never actually needed to teleport from a tense situation, mainly because I don't pk on my main, and if I do, its only with mithril, which I make myself. I can just protect my scim, so I don't bother teleing. My question is, can you teleport from combat with a Skull Sceptre?
-
I like the fake, it looks pretty good, but I don't like the deep head logo. If Jagex makes it look blockish like that, I'll be mad.
-
Hmm, everyone seems to be nay saying, but you may be right. From what I've heard, the Ring of Charos (a) (used to be (u), I think) allows free travel between Karjama and Port Sarim. If it is true, no fair! I want more gems!

Minotaurs are excellent for an aspiring ranger, with an average of 3 irons per kill, and those with full rune can esentially sustain themselves off of meat drops. Flesh crawlers are decent xp with high hp for a fairly low attacking ability, also easily trapped for ranged combat. Poor drops. Catablepons are poor xp and cause high damage and reduced attacks, but can be decent ranged targets. Ankous have interesting drops, the favorites being law runes and addamant arrows, but use a lot of food and have strong attacks for their poor xp value. Additionally, the spiders on level 3 are considered excellent training, while lacking drops, make up for it with a quick source of xp for relatively little food.
-
Yah, since theres no dragon weapons or magic wood we f2ps couldn't use any specs anyways. Unless rune claws were f2p... Oh, and by the way, that guy with the sig is pro-faith. The only ones that should take offense are atheists, and as all atheists should act pessimistically, they should just shake their head at the plight of humanity.

Or better yet... for the pin page, let us enter our pins at the welcome screen, then if we need to run somewhere to get to a bank, we don't get owned trying to find some food or antipoison. I remember getting killed in Canifis by a werewolf because I couldn't get into my bank.
