  1. I would assume you're referring to the attack value towards its crush, slash, and stab? I would think it would be dharoks great towards the slash, though I might be wrong.
  2. Does it have to be us standing with our weapons? I've got a good one, but I'm leaning on a shovel. Will that work, or is it too wide? PM me.
  3. Once again, striker proves his idiocy. If the game is so based around combat, and combat alone, then why are there other skills? and why isn't combat more indepth? In games that are solely based on combat, players at least get spells (or 'skills') that relate to that combat style. Runescape is just point and click for fighting. Incidentally, good idea. prayer is tough, and as an avid monk, any addition is good.
  4. Ooh, you're gonna get in trouble, SS isn't allowed on Tip.it... You could do great things by raising your attack up to 40, then just train on some lower level monsters you can kill really fast, experiments would be good, but P.i.P. gives prayer xp... Try rock crabs?
  5. Absolutely. We should also be able to weild our tinderboxes in our sheild slot, our knives for fletching (should just be daggers, and then cut as an option), carry farming equipment, and instead of weilding hammers for smithing, become capable of using warhammers for joinery. Despite the examine description. This would allow both more creativeness in custom clothing designs, but make skills more efficient and interesting. Lobby pots should be sheilds, though. They're more sheild like. And we should be allowed to weild frog tokens as sheilds. Thats a bit off topic, but it'd be cool.
  6. Heck no. I like the way you can get yourself pinned inside a mob of enemy beasties. If they want to make it easier for money hungry players, they should instead up the heal rate on the knight, wandering around mobs is mor of a simple inconvinience. It's not like you lose things when you get pinned and killed, its merely an inconvenience. Besides, the unique monsters, aka the splatters and... mole guys... can walk through enemies, and thats merely to give the enemy a bit more of an advantage. Also, if they lifted that pathing issue, the monsters could stack, and they'd end up in a huge pile at the gate.
  7. In my opinion, fletching is a worthwhile skill to get to 99. Despite the relatively small profit you make from each bow, you're looking at a heck of a lot of bows to get to 99. You've only done about 10 percent of the total work you need to do to get to 99, and think about how much you have made so far. 30 each adds up when getting to 99, regardless as to what you're doing. Cream here comments on getting your crafting up to glories, but take note that he only has 66 crafting, and can't even make diamond ammys, let alone glories. Generally speaking, when you get a skill to 99, it isn't for the insane profits, as merchanting is the best way to make money anyways, but rather for the fact that you acheived the top level in that skill. I find fletching a lot easier to do than crafting, whether you do hides or manage to craft ammys non stop, so you're best off doing whats easy, and worry about profits when you're done.
  8. Yup, now that they changed the minigame, your plight is hopeless. Sorry for your loss, but having hp xp isn't too bad, if you get a level 25 with full dragon I'd be impressed anyways. Or you could just dream about getting enough lamps. Best of luck.
  9. Monk ftw! On npcs, total invinsibility beats all. After that, def pures. Honestly, prayer and def pures.
  10. I sincerely apologise for what I said. Either I clearly wasn't paying any attention to the headers on my browser, or Tip it had a bug. Nah, must have been my fault. I could have sworn that it was on rants... Now I feel stupid... This seems suiting for an emote. The first emote I've ever used... :?
  11. Wow, I wish people on here had a higher average intellect. Saving bankspace is the same as having more. If we had two separate banks that we could access, and there was the same amount of space in each, it would double the amount of total bankspace. Let me try to simplify this for you. When we have two numbers, and we put them together, and both of them are positive, we get an even bigger number! So, if I have 1 candy in each hand, and I put both candies into one hand, I have 2 candies! Just because the space isn't going into the actual bank doesn't mean its not extra space anyways. If I got a separate bank for each city, I could store six times the items. I wouldn't have 6 times the items in one bank, but I'd have 6 times the space total. And thats just for f2p cities. Regardless as to what they are stored in, stored items mean more space in your bank, no matter how you look at it. And finally, I've come to peace with my small f2p bank, and the rest of you can figure out how to use it.
  12. Train defence to level 3 on tutorial island, and then do any quests that you can recoil to kill challenging enemies, then, when theres no more def only quests, you gotta lamp up to 25. As of now, you need a ton of lamps, but some quests reward decent lamps, and you could just cook or something to lure randoms to yourself. I doubt anyone will manage to do it with what we have avaliable, but a def PURE pure would be sweet for skilling.
  13. For big bones, you want varrock west bank. I find little bones are only avaliable at newb infested areas like goblin fields, but you can only buy like 20 at a time.
  14. Phr33 b4nk 5p4c3 pl0x... We don't need random event items, so we don't need some special hanger to put them on. THey're useless items, so if you don't want them using your precious space, just drop them. If banks auto sorted to put similar items together, that would be cool.
  15. Right, then why did you put this into the rants forum? I'd not normally respond to posts like this, but you clearly stated your topic isn't what it is supposed to be... Seems rather odd.
  16. @meb Brilliant thinking, then we can simply teleport in. @The topic at hand. No, we can't have castle wars, because it's a minigame. F2p will never have any minigames. I do enjoy playing cw on my member newb, but If they were to give free players that, it just wouldn't be fair to the members who payed just for that.
  17. Strangest analogy in the history of tip.it. Having expensive, good looking armour isn't like having 10 million all the time. THe purpose of the armour is to defend, and look good at the same time. If you were to have 10 mil on you all the time, it would mean nothing. Money doesn't do anything unless you put it to use. Money is worthless unless you have something to spend it on. Having 10 mil on wednesday and 50k on all the other days would be irrelevant unless the user spends it on something. Armour, on the otherhand, still protects you and shows off your wealth at all times, and is now fixed to better suit animations. It doesn't make sense to complain about runescapes graphics, their low end graphics are the one reason that makes it such a cheap game. People always dislike new things, does anyone remember how upset everyone was with revamped falador? By now, everyone has gotten used to it, and just continues on playing.
  18. Whoa, freaky. In this topic: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=436063, someone mentions something like that. If we all reported the wrong person, it would be terrible. Some poor skiller frozen just for being in thw rong place at the wrong time.
  19. No, you're absolutely right. But, thankfully, this calculator is not even close to accurate, as there are always variables when ranging. If you get teleported a bunch of times, you could stand to lose tons of arrows, or have an arrow theif grab them before you can get to them. Assuming there is no arrow income, your increasing max hit makes up for arrow losses.
  20. Problem is, every single bone from a player would become an item of its own. That would end up hogging all the bankspace, and no one could trade more than 28 at a time. It would cause unneccesary lag.
  21. Whoa, what do you know, I use the EXACT same calculations on the range calculator I use on microsoft excel. I generally go with 20% break rate instead of 75, guess I'm just an optimist, eh? But yeah, nice work taking the incentive to figure all that out, I spent a while trying to make sure my break rates were right. The (X*.75)+((X*.75)*.75)... part was a real nuisance to write down over and over though.
  22. I just realized another thing I dislike about this idea. More 'Options' on the ground. I actually think we should be unable to light logs on the ground, since logs only appear on the gound at spawns and when dropped. Players should have to pick them up and then light the logs. THe only way I can see this working is if they released some sort of 'skeleton glove' that enabled players to bury bones directly. This would, of course, make it members only, but I can live without that. I've been burying bones the way its always been done since I started playing rs, and I can bear it.
  23. Nope, the main thing about barrows is the awesome power, but loss of a bit of defence. Not that anyone would notice with the whole awesome armour bonuses. The weapons are all two handed, and should remain that way. I have a better idea about making barrows more interesting, but thats another thing for another suggestion topic.
  24. It's the air altar. You can see a lot of teleport locations from other teleport locations, they're all way up in the north west. THey fixed it, but originally you could see the earth altar from the gravedigger random event, but they have since then moved it. I also saw a noob on newbie island from the bottom of the wizards tower, that was pretty neat.
  25. Or an option in the options menu to see total levels instead of combats. It could be flipped automatically when entering the wild.
