  1. Perhaps you should work on crafting deaths before moving up with the big boys... No point whining if you couldn't do it anyways... As previously stated, it can be assumed Jagex has something plannned. Since bloods at least are members only, I can't even bother moping about how f2p can't make em. Either way, I sometimes wonder how far ahead their grand scheme goes...
  2. No, absolutely not. They have more hp, yes, but they hit you with a vengence, much more than lessers. Pkers, come, you're low on food from training, and they kill you easily. Its multi and deep, so huge teams march past all the time, and despite the nearby food source (thank you jadex), you justy won't be prepared. Additionally, greaters don't drop meds. They only drop fulls, from the drops I've seen. 5 full helms, never anything else rune.
  3. legolas5879 is the name, being f2p is the game. Thanks for being generous!
  4. Nope, I strongly dissagree. If it was p2p, they'd more than likely use team capes, and if it was p2p, not enough people would attend for it to be fun. And theres way too many teams... tons of teams would have like, 3 entrants... Besides, no need for it to be p2p, its not a real battle anyways, f2p has enough color distinction, and people can bs either way.
  5. No, the way it is now makes sense the way it is. Higher levels get an advantage for killing stronger monsters, which they have earned fair and square, food is intended to be eaten, whether it be rare or not, and items being sold to shops are set up the way they are to avoid accidental selling of items that are grossly underpaid for at general stores. Allowing players to set up stuff how they want is an unessecary option that only really has reasons for lazy players that are unwilling to click twice. Yes, it would make the game easier, but so would a "99 all skills" button, and a "complete all quests" button. No, your idea isn't that drastic, but I had to right click, so theres no reason anyone else shouldn't.
  6. In order to get that spirit below half health you'd already be looking at 192 xp, putting you at past level 3 range. ANd thats assuming you manage to get it below half before it can heal from the immense time it takes for you to do damage. If you really want to play it safe, and stay under leveling, you'd get a bunch of friends to whack it once each after you get it down to a third off or so.
  7. Yes, prayer will boost your combat level. No, range will not increase your combat level, only through a result of hp, which is needed for an effective pker anyways. No, prayer is not that useful on a new pker anyways, especially on a mage. (Until high levels, prayer is not worth it, and at high levels, mostly only for warriors. Unless you use protections...)
  8. How does your body feel about your brain controlling it? Control is not felt or assumed by that which is being controlled. Only the controller feels, and as such, imparts himself into that which is being controlled. You are your character, or moreso, it is an extention of you. Haha, you're property of Jadex! (yes, Jadex. If you don't get it... use the search button... or something)
  9. January first for me, lol. I only know based of the fact that I got a yoy on my first day, and the next day santa was gone. Just guess based on your first holiday item.
  10. And defence cabbage. Pick em up at draynor manor for a 1+ def boost.
  11. There used to be an easy way to colect duplicates of the marionettes, even of different colors, but now they 'bind when picked up' and cannot appear on the ground. Before, you could grab a marionette, die, run and find another, then get your first one before the minute was up, and could get up to 28 of em. I got all 3 of them once, but Then I dropped em and they fixed the bug. Boohoo...
  12. I've gotten rune meds before, along with a set of dhide and 500 or so iron arrows at lessers, but the best thing I ever got was a mith scim from a guy fighting a bear. It was the item that really helped me out when I started working on combat, and was probably the defining point that got me out of noobhood.
  13. Far as I know, jagex doesn't have a monopoly of games that involve cutting down trees. Assuming you haven't stolen any property of jagex, ie their graphics, you haven't do anything wrong.
  14. Nope, only you can prevent forest fires... BUt cutting down the dramen tre... Which is clearly flammable.
  15. Oh, and feel free to click that inticing destroy button. You're presented with the option of saying 'yes' destroy, or 'no' destroy, just like with alot of the untradeable holiday items.
  16. Best purchaseable gloves would have to be black vambs, the rest are from quests and the like. I always use my grey canifis gloves though. F2p ftw!
  17. The only one that really gets my goat is baxe Whats a bhakes? Thats how I read it.
  18. Whats the best weapon for a F2P def pure? I've been using silverlight but it still only does 1 damage.
  19. Over this month, many of us remember a topic about who people thought the most attractive npc in the game was. I'm asking a slightly different question, hopefully with less flaming as the other guys topic recieved. What npc (preferably one you can talk to) do you think has the oddest looking face. My personal pick would have to be the oozing barrier in stronghold of security, level 3. Post your pictures! My personal runner up would have to be luthas the banana man, anyone with a conjoined monkeyface is odd in my books.
  20. I'm going to agree with everyone here and yell at you for being unable to make money. Even I, as an f2p player, am more than capable of making as much money as I feel I need, at any given time. I don't even have monsters to fight for drops, yet I can find a way. I managed to double 2 mil in a week just buying up coal and iron, and making them into steel bars, and selling for major profit. In my opinion, as a member, you should be capable of making immense amounts of money at any level, whether you pick flax, swap bowstrings, mine pure ess, or whatever. On p2p, there are money options for everyone. Now stop whining here, get your wagon (yes, I said wagon on purpose, wagons the sweetest trolleys ever)over to rs, and start earning it. On rs, time is directly related to money, you just have to work for it, and not sit around picking cabbage all day. Unless you prefer leafy greens over lame, silly little shiny coins.
  21. Cough... I point you to the [bleep]es on the foighting boots. Incidentally, why would it crush your foot? Have you never seen steel toed boots? One could easily place a spined chunk of metal out of the end of one of those. As for unbalancing, consider the fact that you're talking about a game in which players wear capes made of tiny plates of volcanic glass... hows that for balance?
  22. You can get that image from anywhere that doesn't require opening an autoshut door or doing down a ladder or flight of stairs. Just right click someone in the wild, while following someone, and have them take you to mudskipper point. You'll see what I mean.
  23. Yah, having some trouble with some of the songs jagex listed in the k-base for f2p. Some of them are clearly not f2p... Heres the list of the ones I can't get. Arabian 3 Area around Shantay pass Background Entrana/Candlelight Random Event Cavern Red Spiders in Wilderness, Yanille Agility dungeon Everlasting Fire Wilderness Volcano Evil Bob's Island Random event, Evil Bob's Island HAM Fisted H.A.M. Store rooms The Quizmaster Quizmaster Random Event area Tomb Raider Inside the pyramid of Pyramid Plunder Trouble Brewing Trouble Brewing Minigame Upcoming Necromancer area Waking Dream Dream minigame of Lunar Diplomacy Red ones are from random events, the rest... Some of them are clearly members, as they're from minigames and the like, so why doesn't jagex fix them. If anyone knows f2p locations for them, let me know.
  24. By the way, items you drop take 1 minute to show up to other people, and take 2 minutes to disentigrate for eternity. When dropping, pause at random locations to give the allusion that you're dropping at that spot. makes it more fun. Items that can't be used on the table are untradeable, and won't show up if dropped.
  25. I find working your way through all the items obtained through skills, followed by all the items obtained by drops, all the items sold at shops, all the items obtained from spawns, followed by all the items obtained through random events, and lastly all items obtained from holidays pretty much covers all sources. Work your way through the stats, and you should work it out after some painful checking.
