  1. Nice call. I never payed enough attention to notice that. The mino skull is pretty bad azz.
  2. Really? Any level at all? maybe my crazy idea of greater training isn't so crazy after all. Fish are close by, demons are agressive... yay!
  3. Whoa, thats awesome. I had no idea about the trampling... The rest is pretty basic and can be done simply, assuming you have a willing partner, but I had no idea what determined whether monsters can walk over players or not. Thanks for the very insightful post.
  4. They seriously need Ozaich to lighten up and let me have some more fun. I got killed with my key, I brought it to the wild for who knows what reason, and now I can't get in any more...
  5. THe maze! I bet thats it! If that is what Kill was talking about, I beat him to it. No drops, no competition... it all adds up.
  6. Nope, as of yet, for level 1 defence pures, iron plates are technically the best, but khazard armour, as previously mentioned, is technically superior, based on the fact that its untradeable, and means those that kill you are rewarded with nothing.
  7. May I inquire what arrow type you're using, and where you decide to go to work? 110k dropped arrows sounds rather alluring... Pm me. Trick with power-ranging is you don't want something with high competition, but you want something that can handle your firepower for a fair bit of time. I would probably go with the hobgoblins at crafters as suggested, as you could camp out in the cow pen safely, but you could also try white knights on some of the upper levels with less competition but still plenty of cover.
  8. Jagex still hasn't seen this? Just like to point out current views is 13373. leete! Yay! Grats on the amazing bank.
  9. How can you effectively prove that Nitey is dead? He could have simply stopped playing, and had his son make up a big lie, and start a bunch of rumours. If I stopped playing runescape tommorow, and had my brother tell you I was dead, would I deserve a statue? As many tip.iters say, nite was just another player. So he managed to max his avatar second. He played the game just like everyone else, just happened to have a leg up so to speak with time and skill. People die all the time, just because he has a good runescape account doesn't mean he earned eternal glory.
  10. Metal capes would not be a problem for jadex to add at all. When you guys debate the realistic aspects of it, I can't help but laugh. This game isn't intended to be realistic. Everything follows a mostly rigid pattern of upgrading, so, if there were armoured capes, they'd be bronze through rune, possibly dragon, just like every other piece of metal armour.
  11. The best benefit of Fm comes at 65, when you can light up those mining helmets, so you don't have to carry your light source in your inv.
  12. Aren't Castle Wars tickets technically a currency as well? As you can buy from shops with them? I love this bank style.
  13. Yes carrying a talisman, it is the same as wearing a tiara. If you save an inventory slot, then you're saving an inventory slot. If the item is equiped to your head or your quiver doesn't matter, because if you get to carry an extra ess, you win both ways. In actuallity, it would be beneficial to carry talis, which require no work at all, as you'd benefit from the defensive bonus of helms. Just because it looks different doesn't mean it is different. Its the same as a tiara. The only thing you should be able to put in the quiver is one type of rune, or one type of arrow.
  14. How do you make a statue that just says Nite? Honestly, all runescape characters look identical, only difference being minor differences in body shape, clothing shape, and hair, minimally so when its completely gold colored. If they did have a statue to someone, they should make a statue tributing Zezima, as he topped first, and maybe statues of the first maxers in all the skill guilds. Other than that, everyone else has no claim to fame. Ooh, lets put a statue of Durial in fally park. That ought to keep those merchants out...
  15. I actually prefer the stagnation of basic items. If taxes are placed on old school items that have been around forever, I'll no longer know how much they're gonna cost in the future. If I can't buy a hammer or chisel for 1 gp anymore because no new chisels or hammers are coming into the game (there is a hammer spawn I can think of, but regardless, no one is going to spawn collect hammers) then I'll have to bring more money, and I may be off, and not bring enough, as items with plenty of rise due to no increase through player actions would be come extremely expensive. Besides, there would have to be a counter on all goods, as many goods leave the game, whereas others come into the game, so to place a lump tax on all items, soley based on an average income and outgoing items would be ridiculous. Taxation makes it harder to remeber price values, and without having 'current tax rates' on the right hand side with the inventory, I'd have to seek out some npc just to figure out how much I'll have to spend on my discarded gems from the general store. I don't thing taxes would give anything to the game as far as gameplay goes, and would instead make it so I couldn't sell my hard leather bodies for as much, and make my tiaras I craft into a hot commodity item, and become overly valuable into droves of players beat the items down to almost nothing again. There would be insane periods of rise and fall when taxes first came out, as players would sell all their stuff when it first came out, to benefit from the current inflated market, then there would be immmense dry spells when the gold piece became deflated, sending us into a great rift of poverty due to no items going into the general stores, and, despite items in the store being excessively cheap, there would never be anything good. The npc market would manage to become destroyed, and all items would be dealt with through player to player interaction, would would mean it would be much harder to get onto world 1 and 2, and merchants would [bleep]e their prices as well. The economy is ruined! It would take a large amount of work to get a system up and running that many would dislike, so I don't think it should ever be considered. I think we should have auction houses, they could work in a POH style building, with different portals for different item types, or be a large tower, though I think that may get a bit big. It would only be really popular for bargain hunters, and those doing bank sales, but in the first month or so it would be tremendously popular. I would suggest they put it in rimmington.
  16. Ooh, shiny! RSN: evanboy70 Best of luck to all.
  17. Ah, the irony. The only thing that doesn't get frozen over from your membership was the essence that became pure essence. If they ever try anything like that, it'll change, but your guthix points are likely safe.
  18. Just a note: YOu can get 30 gp for stew if you use it with the tree instead of having him ask for it
  19. Did it really do ten damage? I got hit for a one once, but thought it was some crazy super delayed lag or something. I'm glad I'm not the only one.
  20. Anyone tried going onto it with a dramen staff? it reminds me of the pulsing blobby things in fairyland.
  21. You sacrifice your bones, it doesn't overboost your prayer at all. Just gives you more prayer xp.
  22. Nope, its still Multilogging in. Despite there being no interaction, you're still doubling the speed at which you train/gather. Besides, Runescape can detect when you have another copy loaded, so you couldn't do it anyways.
  23. I completely agree with METALLICA. I thought this was going to be a nice story about how you stuck up for some poor newb that actually played the game honestly, but instead you simply showed your own arrogance. Nice work.
  24. There was a recent fishing update, theres new lob and sword fishing spots in the wild. =D
