[Poll] Bunny Ears or Phat?
I would take a party hat because I can exchange it for skills and food and other more entertaining items. A bunny ears has been, is, and will always be just a decoration item and can't really serve any other purpose. On the other hand, with money from a party hat you can buy so many different costumes. I'd rather have a santa hat, some nice high-grade armor sets like infinite or 3rd age, a couple backup suits of armor I already use for bank organization and in case I lose anything, and still have a few extra cash piles for supplies and skills. This is assuming I have neither right now. Since I already have a variety of rares, a decent sum of cash, and plenty of income, with my current account I'd take the bunny ears for collection... or the scythe

Rule 2 Change: Should Luring be alloud?
The Wilderness Sign. It only pops up once while logged on, meaning if it doesn't you have already seen the warnings and you accept them. Umm no it doesn't. It pops up while you're buying a chisel from the general store when the shopkeep is at the north end of the shop. It shows up when you have no intention of entering the wilderness, and when you accidentally enter wilderness it doesn't stop you. It's NOWHERE near sufficient protection to players who are unexperienced with the wilderness. Even the second trade window shows up EVERY time you trade... Don't you think if a notice popped up on an inexperience player's screen he'd read it? If it pops up that automatically makes you accept the dangers of the wilderness whether you have intentions of going in, or not. If you don't read it and your just buying a chisel then you either don't care or you already know it meaning you accept the dangers of the wilderness. No, it means you don't care because you're not intending to enter the wilderness. Face it. The wilderness popup isn't even close to the second trade window, and scammers are STILL banned, HAVE been banned, and ALWAYS WILL BE banned. You can think whatever you want, but Jagex would rather this game have a community friendlier to new players, and so would anyone with basic ethics. This issue has been debated, and Jagex has decided in favor of no luring. Period.

Rule 2 Change: Should Luring be alloud?
How the hell does luring go against all that? It goes against it being a dangerous place? You said yourself people going there know the risks, and it's a risk they willingly choose to take. WE DON'T FORCE ANYONE INTO THE WILDERNESS, THEY CHOOSE SO WILLINGLY. THEY DO NOT CHOOSE TO ENTER THE WILDERNESS WILLINGLY. The spirit tree isn't in the wilderness. Teleporting to lure them out, or running north hoping they follow without realizing that it's the wilderness IS NOT THEM WILLINGLY ENTERING THE WILDERNESS KNOWING THE RISKS. The wilderness is meant for people to kill other people who KNOW it's the wilderness, and ACCEPT the risks of the wilderness. The warning sign that shows up even if you're just visiting the general store of edgeville when the storekeeper is at the north end, pickpocket a guard north of edgeville, or run east to use the spirit tree. And after it shows up, it's GONE. If there was a bold red line indicating the start of the wilderness, and it warned you EVERY TIME YOU CHOSE TO CROSS, then yes, they did choose to enter the wilderness willingly. But as there isn't such a safeguard, people enter without realizing its wilderness. THAT'S why it's a deception.

Rule 2 Change: Should Luring be alloud?
The point isn't what lure is more dangerous and immoral. The point is, one lure is lying to players to cheat them out of their items. The other one is trying to kill players who ACCEPT the risks of being where they are. If you're DK hunting, you accept the risks the monsters may kill you. You also accept the fact that with a team of under 10, you rely on tentative safespots, attack ranges, etc, that can easily be disrupted by any other player. I'm not condemning killing Dagganoth kings with safespots. But if a player finds a way to foil this and kill you, there is no violation of rules.

Rule 2 Change: Should Luring be alloud?
Rule 2 states: "You must not scam or deceive other players." Deceive: "To mislead by a false appearance or statement" Luring is to MAKE A FALSE STATEMENT telling another player to go NEAR the wilderness for the purpose of a trade. The statement is false because you are asking them for a trade when you are acting under more diabolical intentions. YOU make a blatantly false statement in an attempt to bring them, unsuspecting, into a dangerous area. Therefore, this falls under deception, and is therefore in direct violation of Rule 2. This applies ONLY to trade lures. Dropping valuable items in the wilderness and hoping people will go out is not a violation of rule 2 because you did not make any false statements, and the items are real. You are not implying that it is safe. Attacking someone and running into multi is, likewise, not a violation either because they have intentionally entered the wilderness, knowing all the risks. The key word there is "intentionally". If you ask someone to trade you, say, in level 5 wilderness and then kill them, then it's there fault, because they entered the wilderness, knowing it was wilderness, and knowing the risks.

ridiculous runescape weapons you would like to see

Cheapest spell for barrows...
That's only partially correct. As stated above you get your runes no matter what spell your using, and you can sell the runes since you're not using them to pay for the airs, as well as have more profit than you would have had using slayer dart. Also, slayer dart hits (Magic Level)/10, truncated. That means you can hit from 15 to 20, depending on your magic level. (If you're 99 magic and use potion you can hit 20s.) For someone with low magic this means you hit just as high with firebolt and chaos gauntlets.

Cheapest spell for barrows...
For everyone who claims "You can get your deaths and minds back if you use slayer dart," let me ask you this. Does using firebolt mean you no longer get deaths and minds? Are deaths and minds worth nothing? Lets say you use 100 deaths 400 minds (making these numbers up, I haven't barrowed for too long and I don't quite remember exact values.) You get 150 deaths, 600 minds. Now lets say you used 150 chaos and 450 airs, like this gentlemen suggests. With the first method you get all your runes back + 50 deaths and 200 minds. With the second method, you get to keep ALL 150 deaths and 600 minds. I don't believe what spell you use is taken into account when determining your reward. Spend 30k in Chaos + Air Runes, and earn 54k in Death + Mind Runes, Or Spend 36k in Death + Mind Runes, and earn back 54k in Death + Mind Runes. Your profit margin is higher in the first example. As for prayer issues, with 76 prayer I can finish off Dharok and Karil with prayer, and still have leftover for Ahrim and sometimes Guthan. Torag and Verac are easy to safespot in the tunnels below, and Guthan as well if I didn't kill him above. Since no prayer pots are used, the few extra seconds spent fighting Dharok and Karil means maybe I'll spend an extra lobster on Ahrim...

Cheapest spell for barrows...
Then you can sell the minds and deaths and buy airs...

Is luring an acceptable practice?
I find it ironic that you are telling people to "use their brains" when you apparently don't know how to spell... I suggest you quit while you're ahead. Well, behind really, but not as far as you're going to be.

What is your favorite outfit to wear all through Runescape ?

Is luring an acceptable practice?
There are good people in this world, and there are bad people. My point is that Jagex should not try to make the game perfect by outlawing anything that could potentially take something away from them. Jagex is becoming to protective of the younger crowds, they are taking away the nice feeling from the game, and turning it into an overprotective game. I thought that Runescape was supposed to teach lessons? Well, they can't do that when they take out all of the untruthful parts of the game. So they should leave scammers alone too right? Because banning scammers is turning Runescape into an overprotective game? Scamming is the same thing as luring. You're deceiving other players for your own gain. Also, both can be easily avoided. How come luring is permitted when scamming is not?
-
Is luring an acceptable practice?
Arguments against your "Acceptable" reasons... 1. Luring involves deceiving another player into unintentionally entering the wilderness. You MUST NOT SCAM OR DECEIVE OTHER PLAYERS. Therefore, luring IS technically violating the rules. 2. You're lucky enough to find someone to scam, that doesn't look at the second trade window. Does that mean scamming is acceptable too?

A Simple Herblore Guide. Mods, please move this!
Here's a few more tips on secondaries I didn't see in your guide. If you have finished the tower of life quest, you have an easy source of deadly red spider eggs and unicorn horns. Items placed on the altar do not disappear. Collect 1 red spider egg, 1 unicorn horn, 1 raw sardine, and 1 cowhide. Place these on the altars. When you need red spider eggs/unicorn horns, get 10 raw sardines or cowhides per load. Bring these to the tower. Create the monster and kill it. Repeat until you're down to your last sardine/cow hide. Place this last one on the altar, along with the matching second ingredient. DO NOT CREATE MORE THAN YOU NEED UNLESS YOU INTEND TO SELL THEM. This way you can conserve bank space as well as be able to create more eggs and unicorn horns whenever you have the herbs for them.

Is World 99 a "good" choice as a tip.it world?
At one point, I would have agreed. When I first joined Tip.It, people here were far friendler than normal RS players. World 99 was a great idea until it eventually was infested. But now, I don't believe switching a world would help. The people using Tip.It now are far different. There are more and more greedy, immature people on TIF every passing day. TIF has almost reached the point where the ratio of undesirable community members versus desirable ones has been reduced to the same proportions of the RS community. We may as well keep it on world 99 to keep it simple, but I'm not sure if the Tip.It server even serves a purpose anymore. On a final note, invading a German server would be the last thing we should do. The German server is Jagex's attempt at making this game more widespread, and by using it as a homeserver for Tip.Iters, were obstructing their progress. Also, the censor is far sharper on a German world, which will make conversations with other players more difficult unless every Tip.Iter learns German...

_-'-_ A PC world, just like Laws runners _-'-_
banish all pures from rs- yay!!!!!! \ :XD: Banish all people who don't get 80 slayer from RS! Banish all people who don't train farming from RS! Banish all people who train defence from RS! The point of Runescape's training system is to allow players to train the skills THEY like, or skills THEY think will make them stronger. If you can discriminate against people because they dislike defence, I can discriminate against people who refuse to train farming, or attack, or hunter, or construction, etc.

If you're asking for fast ways to train range... -Red Chinchompas on skeletal monkeys in Marim Dungeon -Crystal bow + Cannon on hell hounds If you're asking the best way though this belongs in General Help & Advice

Whip and rune defender vs. Anchor
Whip. Anchor is too slow to be effective, I can deal far more damage per minute with either whip or scimitar.
