I've got HP and defense... I got HP because I was already pretty close to it. defense... well I still regret getting it because untrimmed HP was way cooler. But I've liked defense for a long time.

I'm sorry but because YouTube resizes any uploaded video files, it would completely destroy the quality of the film, and would make it almost unviewable. If you can provide a website that streams with no resizing I would be glad to upload to that website. i use youtube all u gotta do is hit the full screen button That's irrelevant. The issue is, YT resizes files. Resizing means it's more blurry, and blurry means you can't read what the characters are saying. It also just detracts from watching movies in general.

I'm sorry. The quality of the trailer itself is fine. The two websites both resized it more than I thought it would. We will not make that mistake again. From now on either we'll host the trailers and movies ourselves or make them downloads from websites that don't resize. Oh, and I added the Movie download link.

30 races. Not 20-100. Statistically, when the population standard deviation isn't known, an assumption of a normal distribution (which allows a 2 sample t-test), either a graph must be approximately linear, or n must be at least 30. In other words, if you don't know the actual numbers given by Jagex, you need at least 30 sets of data.

Black Salamander. Any runes you get can be kept for future use or sold for profit. I can finish an entire run without wasting pray pots when I use a salamander and tar's easy to produce quickly.

About a year ago, I learned how to film short Runescape videos. This led to me producing a few movies for my clan mates. As we made plans for a more extravagant movie, we realized it had moved beyond just a "clan thing." We began many plans for movies, most of which crashed dismally. We began to wonder whether a good, RS movie was truly possible. Then, what we call the "Movie Rage" hit. The amount of PKing videos available quadrupled. At least a dozen smaller movies were made, and even TIF was getting in with "Tip.It the Movie". Further spurred on, we gathered a small team and formed a corporation, recycling the name RuneVision. And now, after a month or two of hard work, we have completed our first project. World of Warcraft is THE WORST game Blizzard has ever released in my opinion. I'm sorry, but StarCraft, Diablo, Warcraft... they were ALL better than World of Warcraft. World of Warcraft has nearly no rule enforcement, they don't even try to stop people from trading IRL, the game is much easier, people auto all the time to build a character that would normally take 2 months of work in 3 days. Seriously, the only thing WoW has on RS is graphics and sound. But I much rather listen to MP3 Soundtracks from Square Enix games anyways which pretty much leaves just graphics. And for those operating under such a delusion, sorry, but it takes more than graphics to be a good game. As for the censor... I'm kinda glad RS uses the censor. It goes a bit overboard but I HATE hearing f-bombs, all the various slang terms for excrement, and the other swear words. Seriously, there are far better ways to express yourself. (I'm 17 by the way, so yes, I know you hear them every day. That doesn't mean you have to like it.)

Level 54 wilderness, he was 600k worth of runes on him, wizard robes, and sara staff, stuck between the two webs with no slashing weapon. :D His runes were worth more than my entire bank at that time except my one holiday item, and he was 30 levels higher than me. :P

Leesters, I GUARANTEE you the drop rate has been changed since Dagannoth kings have been released. That's the way with Jagex, monsters always have a higher drop rate the first week.

For everyone who's claiming "I'm a pragmatist" or "I would like to keep my stuff, there are no rules": You're PKing in a nice outfit worth about 250k. You're pking in edgeville cause you have no friends on, and it seems that there's a million clans roaming around, from tiny groups of level 80s-90s or huge bands of 120s at mage bank. So you just paid 650k for 1k sharks (which is about 50 trips), 100k for super sets, about 750k for the prayer pots (most pkers use about 2 a trip). That's 1.5M spent on 50 fights. Scenario one. No one follows these unwritten laws... no one dies. But you get lucky once and your opponent slips up, you get one kill. Congratulations you made back almost a fifth of what you spent for those fights. Yes, there's a chance of you getting something really good, but truth is: if everyone does this, the chance of you getting a whip or barrows is the same as you dying. Which is the chance that you'll mess up and do something stupid. Now, here's scenario two. All the people who would rather use every tactic possible to keep their items are off deeper in the wilderness and fighting each other. You follow the unwritten code, and so do all your opponents. Foolish maybe, but since you have good timing with your specials, within the fifty fights, 20 of them end up in deaths. So, depending on luck and skill, you could've profited a decent amount OR lost a hefty portion of your wallet. Risky, yes, but isn't that what the wilderness is for? I don't know how many people still know this but pures aren't mean to be "own the entire wilderness". They weren't built for that. The first few pures emerged because people wanted to increase the risk in the fight, for both themselves and their opponents. You're facing an opponent who can easily do 5-10 more damage than you can in a special attack, but he's got almost no defence. PKers want kills. A lot of times it isn't even about the money. Winning in fights against other people, and killing them, and seeing a nice pile of stuff on the ground as a reward... it's part of their fun in PKing. Yes, some people take this code too far and start flaming, but people flame for everything. I'm just pointing out this code DOES have a purpose. By the way, this is coming from a non-pker, so if any PKer does want to correct me, go ahead.

You're missing the point. It's not meant for people who want to fight each other 1 on 1, it's for people who are ruthless, deceiving, and go in with the mindset "I'm going to be the winner." Leaders are just players clever enough to keep themselves safe until they can turn on their team and emerge victorious, by "siding" with everyone else. Fight pits is about being the best fighter, not just in power but also in tactics. That includes planning it so that you turn them against each other one at a time. Teams only last until one person decides he can defeat the rest of the team on his own, that's how this game was designed, and how it is.

You know, when fight pits came out, Jagex SPECIFICALLY STATED that it was a free-for-all, and that there can only be one winner. I don't see what's "fair" and "not fair" in those circumstances...

The Crystal bow may be the most effective in killing monsters. But you're not factoring in the special attack on the MSB. Also, most people don't really use it very often but you can put poison on magic shortbows as well. Finally, if you lose a crystal bow it's 150k-200k to get a new seed, or 900k for a new bow to wear down to a seed. If you lose an MSB and the arrows, you may lose 50k-100k. And finally, I don't agree with your calculation of accuracy. We don't even know Jagex's official formula, therefore it's not really accurate to just ASSUME a linear relationship between attack bonus and accuracy. If you want to look at the accuracy you can't just look at the numbers. Rather, get your range attack to exactly +100, shoot 100 times and count the times you miss, get your range to exactly +90, and repeat, and do so with +80, +70, +60, and +110. Then graph it with the attack bonus as your independent variable and the proportion of hits as your dependent variable. Run a linear regression and check the residual plot. Also, same goes for the damage. You can't just calculate on max hit. Just from my experience, I hit a lot more 20-25s with my whip than 1-5s, so it can't just me a random number from 1 to your max hit. Again, sample 200 shots and record the amount of damage done with each shot, and compare the median, mean, and interquartile range of these.

Dagganoth Supreme. Easy to kill, great drops, great XP, lots of fun, and totally harmless. Prime and Rex come along an ruin your fun though.
