Something's telling me our "tactic" worked better. ;) We should go try that again soon.

Spiritual Rangers and Warriors
They are not pointless to kill. First, the Armadyl Spiritual Warriors have absolutely no hit power. Although when scanned, it states their max hit is 14, I've never been hit by it for over 1 damage. This is after fighting 100+ of them with no prayer. Second, all Spiritual Warriors drop an array of rune items, including kiteshields, longswords, and halberds. Decent for alching or collecting. Third, spiritual rangers drop a few p++ arrows. While it doesn't seem like much, every 5 arrows is equivalent to a full weapon poison++. Handy if you like ranging, I'm sure you can find some use for it. Last of all, I've found the spiritual warriors to be REALLY aggressive towards other NPCs. So bringing a zammy item and saradomin item to Saradomin's encampment literally allows you to train on level 125s that drop rune items at no cost. Just wait til they attack something else. Now of course if you can kill mages, kill those instead. Rune drops build up fairly slowly, but it's better than nothing. And dragon boots, even at 300k-400k each, are still fairly profitable since you can easily average 2+ pairs an hour. I like these new slayer monsters. I mean, how many level 120+ slayer monsters will let you attack them without attacking back when you're using a whip? And also drop rune items?

Do Wilderness Clues help?
I'm just going to tell you my story and let you make whatever you want out of it. Luckily, I escaped any wild clues for over a month. Unfortunately, my only nice item was Rune Skirt (t). I finally got a wild clue, was wondering what it would do for my luck. Robin Hat. The very next clue my brother does, also in wilderness, results in a Robin Hat. Then I do a clue in wilderness and get Rune Plate (g). I've gotten a Robin Hat, a gilded plate, a black cavalier, and several god armor pieces from wilderness clues. I've only gotten three decent items, and all three were trimmed skirts, from non wild clues. Go figure.

Estimated and Current Price of the Godsword
UPDATED Estimates of current street price: Shards are approximately 2.5m - 3.5m each. A complete God Sword Blade goes for 10m - 11m. Zamorak Hilt appears to go for roughly 25m - 35m, not surprising as it's the easiest to get. Bandos Hilt goes for 40m - 45m, which is slightly overpriced considering Bandos is fairly popular. Might be lower now but I got two in two trips yesterday, sold for about 50m ea. 33m per person... Lol. Armadyl Hilt goes for about the same as Bandos Hilt. It's about right, considering Kree'arra is hard, but still possible to solo and not that hard to kill with a small team. Saradomin Hilt still goes for about 70m+. I don't find this unreasonable at all... anyone who's tried will tell you Zilyana's the hardest of the four bosses. She has a melee attack, that although looks slow, attacks at roughly throwing knife speed. She's hit me three times in a row before multiple times through 99 defense sara brewed with piety on... and her magic attack rains 30+ on everyone in the room. Brutal. Saradomin Sword (Note, not God Sword) goes for about 12M. Again, not surprising. Zamorak Spear is only a measly 2M now, which again is appropriate as K'ril Tsutsaroth or however you spell it is the weakest of the four, and the spear is a fairly common drop. That about sums it up.

How many Rares do you think are left/in circulation now?
Party Hats: 1000-9999 Crackers: 100-499 Santa Hats: 20,000+ Mask Sets: 10,000+ Disk of Returning: No Idea. Easter Egg: 200-999 Half Full Wine Jug: 20-99 Pumpkin: 500-999 Bunny Ears: 15,000+ Scythe: 10,000+ Dragon Handwarmers: Probably about 0. Sunburned Tuna: A couple Dozen Toy Ship: A little less than a hundred.

God Wars God Worlds
The REASON there's no Sara or Zamorak world is because: Zamorak is too easy. No one wants to take him with a large team, just go solo or 2 people. Less ways to split drops, less competition. Saradomin is TOO HARD. WAY TOO !@!#!#%ING HARD. It takes 70 agility to even get in, which eliminates most people who would join an official world. Then, there's the fact that you need at least 2 people to stand a chance of killing her, and up to now the only strategy I've ever heard of is still being kept secret. Meaning it's very hard to kill her efficiently and everyone would rather kill another one.

Godsword Kqing (Video)
Okay sorry but I saw WAY too many problems with what has been posted on this thread so far. First. Kalphite Queen's "Protection from Melee" doesn't actually block all melee attacks. In actuality, it reduces damage and accuracy, much like the prayer when used in player versus player situations. Second. All Black Mask does is at 15% strength and attack bonus. That does explain the decent hits, as with a Kalphite slayer mission, proper gear, and such a powerful weapon, you can do a decent amount of damage. Even after it's been cut, seeing 40+ hits isn't very surprising. OT: God Wars bosses aren't really that hard to solo, with the exception of Zilyana. Most level 120+ can usually defeat K'ril 2-3 times per trip alone. Or at least, that's how I've done personally. What's amazing is that the God Sword seems to be in the "Very Fast" attack speed category, similar to Scimitars, Daggers, the Abyssal Whip, and the Zamorakian Spear. I'm not 100% sure of this but it looks to be that fast. It appears Jagex finally realized SPEED is what makes a weapon good, not just pure power. The extra power on this weapon more than compensates for the lack of a shield or defender. Just out of curiousity: is it possible to consistently solo the Kalphite Queen with the God Sword? As in, succeed at least 4 out of 5 attempts? You COULD solo the Kalphite Queen in Veracs in only one trip, but it was very uncommon. I've only done so on one occasion out of about twenty attempts, so if this is what your trips to KQ look like on a regular basis, it means Jagex may have to rescale their combat system. The fact that this monster, originally meant for a group of high leveled player, can now be defeated alone by an extremely wealthy high level player consistently would be such an indication. Finally, I find it interesting how Jagex is slowly introducing "Uber" equipment in multiple categories. For the 1-handed weapons, the Abyssal Whip is still effective, but Jagex just recently added the Dragonfire shield for extra defense, and more strength bonuses. Range got some massive boosts with the Dark Bow, Dragon Arrows, and Rune Crossbow. I've seen people hit over 45 with the Onyx Bolts, and over 80 with Dark Bow special attack using dragon arrows. Magic has been given an array of new support spells, both combat and non. Jagex has now released all of the non-air combination staves, which each have at least 1 spell they can reduce most of the cost of. Is Jagex going to keep releasing godly equipment? We've got both 2H and 1H melee equipment, good melee and range armor, several decent range weapons. Will mage be given armor next? I am worried about how Jagex is balancing player strength with monster strength. It seems to be Jagex will just make tougher and tougher monsters, leaving the older ones outdated. Then they release better drops on new monsters that outdate the old ones. How long until we have level 80s able to solo the KQ, and a level 999 that drops dragon plates? :\

God Wars Dungeon Player Score (91.3% ¢¢â¬â²0.84)
I'd say it was 80/100 at first... 7 pairs of d boots in two days made me happy. Day 3 I did two bandos trips with friends (mostly to be sociable.) We got two bandos hilts in two trips, so now I'm going with 100/100...

Fishy potions
One of my friends only has 13 prayer and pks. Thus, he only uses about 1 or 2 doses of prayer per trip. Why not stick an extra few points of healing in anyways?

im going gwd my inv and setup
I've soloed Kree'rarra with 8 sharks with a similar setup. OT: Try bringing a few more super restore and prayer potions. Also, consider getting a Zamorak Mitre over the Veracs Helm. Better prayer bonuses and keeps zamorak enemies off your back.

August 28 2007 - God Wars Dungeon
My team managed 3-4 kills with a team of 4. I don't quite remember how many. It's actually not as difficult as you think. I found a strategy for getting your 40 kills without using up too many supplies. Then you enter with at least 10 sharks and a pair of sara brews left... protect range the whole time and take down the 580, then the guards... again and again. It's not as difficult as you'd expect.

What Math Reveals
i wouldn't. Hypothetically speaking, anyone stupid enough to spend $2400 on a party hat should die of starvation so that Darwin survives. >.< Anyways, if someone was to change his party hat to $2400, it wouldn't involve putting "Runescape Blue Party Hat!" on Ebay, it would probably involve selling it in game for near 500M cash, and selling it in 1M, 5M, and 10M increments. At one point I was highly interested in the exchange rates because I made a small amount of cash playing D2 which had no such rules prohibiting item to money exchange. Out of curiousity I checked to see whether Jagex's rule was effective. It wasn't. But another trend I noticed was that the larger the increment of your sale, the less it was worth per million. For example, when I checked, 1M RS Coins was worth approximately $12. A level 100 account with 5M Coins and roughly 10M in items was worth less than $100. Which means if he had sold his items and sold his coins in 1m increments, he would've earned nearly twice as much and still had an empty account, which he could give to a friend or keep for future use. Yes I know this is breaking about a thousand rules but c'mon. If you're quitting Runescape you hardly care anymore about how many rules you're breaking. I'm guessing if you tried to sell a Party Hat outright, you'd have a hard time getting any more than a thousand dollars. Just because hardly anyone wants to risk thousands on a item in a computer game, with no guarantee of you giving it to them, and the fact it's against the rules.

How strong are your virtues
1. If a friend from RL lent you a party hat to wear once and give back, would you take it? Err... if only I had a friend IRL who HAD a party hat... I probably wouldn't be stealing it. 2. If an ingame friend gave you his partyhat to wear then give back, would you take it? Happened before. And I haven't been pursued and flamed constantly for scamming. ;) 3. If a rich person you hardly knew lent you his partyhat to wear and give back, would you take it? Depends. Did I ASK to borrow it? If he's lending it out to random people for no reason, then I'd keep it merely because if I don't, eventually someone will and in the end it hardly would matter. If I asked to borrow it for whatever reason I would certainly return it. 4. If you knew someones password, and knew they were rich, would you take thier stuff? Happened before. I never even went on his account... it's the same guy that had the p hat though and we've been friends since I started RS. 5. Would you kill a skulled person in the wilderness for a partyhat? Doi. Well, assuming I could kill him with a rune scimitar... which is usually about all I bring into wild. XD 6. Would you accept a duel with a much lower level that stakes all his money (say 5 mil)? No. Way too high probability of bug abuse or such. 7. If someone died, and dropped something valuable, would you give it back. AND how valuable would it have to be for you to keep it? Probably anything up to 20m I'd be willing to return. Higher than that, I would have to think twice. Why he died, did he deserve to. If he brings a blue party hat when he's alching in barrows and accidentally clicks on coffin and gets owned, I'm keeping.

Anti-More ftp bankspace thread!
This was on the FAQ for Diablo II, another fantasy RPG game. It was definitely different from Runescape in many ways, but there was one similarity that was very visible: item storage. For the first part of the game you would see this huge storage space and you could never imagine it filled with items. Kind of like when you stick all your stuff in the bank along with a cape some nice level 30 gave you when you first started Runescape. About halfway through the game, you're constantly trying to decide what items to keep, what items to discard, what items to sell, etc. I think in all such games where there are hundreds of thousands of items, you need to be limited in the amount of space you are given. I don't know if this is Jagex's belief at all, but managing your items and storage space carefully and discarding useless items is all part of it. Bank space should be able to accommodate all the core items, like armor, runes, seeds, herbs, money, other currencies, and skilling tools, with little extra space. The F2P bank cap seems to be appropriate for this as it can hold most things F2Pers use that have value. Oh, and items like rubber chickens can be retrieved easily so it's not necessary to keep the min the bank.

:D Definitely the effect I was hoping for. Lol.

Ehh... maybe I was a little bit too bored...
These are all my drops, I did not duplicate the pictures over and over. The options are there because on 4 of the pictures, I accidentally opened the little option box over the drop so I couldn't get a nice picture. Oh well, came out alright. And yes, as far as I can tell, my most common drop since I started taking pictures was Dragon Axe. Weird... \

How will the new prayers affect pking?
This doesn't really affect pures. Most pures never exceed level 70 combat, and it's very hard to get a barrow pure under that level. Thus, this prayer will never be seen as a threat coming from a barrow pure. Also, since this prayer can not be used in conjunction with a range prayer, range tanks can hardly be using it. So really, the only people that are "left out" and should be angry about it are the rune pures. Those with 40 or 45 defense, because now they get crushed by barrow pures.

New whip max hit!
As far as I can tell, they drain at the same rate as having 2 of the 15%'s on. :D and it goes on with only one click, no lag or miss-clicks =D and it works WITH prot prayers Actually, I kept Piety on for a minute and it drained 32 pray points. I kept the three 15% on for a minute and together they drained 48 pray points.

New prayers from King Ransom (pictures)
If you want to wear dharoks with 1 HP left attacking a high level monster without using protect melee... Read carefully. It's an overhead prayer so you can not use protect melee with it.

The PK pyramid scam
You're argument is flawless except on one major point. PvP is partially based on a player's skill, strategy, and reflexes. Thus, an EXPERIENCED PKer generally wins more than 50% of his fights. This is of course not even factoring luck. If you flip 100 coins, I'm willing to bet quite a bit that you won't get 50 heads and 50 tails. The odds of that happening are pretty low. In fact, statistically speaking, it's easier to get the same amount of heads and tails within 2 flips than within 2 million flips. The issue I brought up on the other thread which is what I presume you're referring to is that these so called "rules" impact this. And they do. Look at this way. If you break the rules, and they don't, they have no chance of winning. The rules generally prohibit tactics that make yourself near invincible. So if you break them and your opponent doesn't, you're the only one who has a chance of winning. Of course you're chance is slim because you're also "safing" which actually hurts you just as much, as you miss many k0 opportunities. Any PKer would understand this concept. So you put it on both sides. Both players are near invincible. Now EVERY fight ends in a run. When you're in level 1 wilderness, it's not all that hard to escape with a combination of prayer, running, and teleporting. So at low level wilderness, if everyone breaks the rules, there is NO chance of actually "winning". It's a lose-lose situation for both of you. Hopefully that makes more sense to you. If it doesn't, try actually PKing in low level wilderness, it will help you understand far better than anyone can explain.

"Rushing, pjing, and safing"
Maybe we don't pk becasue we get called noob for not sticking to stupid rules? If you want a fight with rules use the Rules at duel arena and stake, if not stay out of the wildernedd were ANYTHING GOES Good, anything goes including flaming you for breaking the implied rules. Since in my eye, that's part of "anything". Yes, anything goes. Which means, people CAN choose whether or not they will fight or flame you if you PK in low level wilderness. So if you want to PK with no rules, PK deep where they don't have a choice about fighting you, and ignore their flaming. If you're breaking rules because you're so horrible at PKing you HAVE to resort to breaking the rules to stand a chance then you deserve to be called a noob, especially when you are stupid enough to do so in a place where they can simply refuse to fight you by taking 10 steps south.

LEESTERS REBORN - Lost in Albion - Last page.
Hmmm... somehow I recall telling you that the game engine changed and rex is a pain now. Oh wait you were doing laundry and most probably not listening to me. :-w Well, nice to see you back on TIF again too. See you around. \
