Has F2P gone down hill?
I don't know. A few days ago, I caught a few thousand trout and salmon and cooked em to get up to 94 cooking (yea, I don't like buying cooking xp). I decided I wouldn't ever use em, took em to f2p and divided them evenly to the first three players I met. The first said "Thanks" and left without another word. The second said "Wow omg thanks a lot!" and again, walked away. And the third politely asked "Do you happen to have any more?" When I told him no, he politely thanked me anyways and left. It's not all that bad. Either that or I was really lucky. I honestly expected at least one of the three to flame me for not giving enough or call me an idiot to give away so much food.

Can lock now.
Okay thanks we'll try that.

Can lock now.
If we put the credit card number used to pay for the account over the last 3 years, would that be enough?

Can lock now.
Thanks :D It worked. And I figured as much, he wasn't hacked, he just changed his own password and forgot what he changed it to. >.

What's the rudest and the crudest?
Rudest: Continually calling my Saradomin Sword a Godsword. Seriously I get so sick of that... Crudest: Playing Chinchompa Bowling. In other words, getting failcast gear, wind strikes, and going to the red chinchompa spot southeast of the lake. If you stand in the right spot and attack, the chinchompa runs half a jungle away from you. 4 casts, and they won't catch anything for the next 3 hours. Unless of course, they're smart enough to kill the runaway chinchompas... which most aren't. \

God War Dungeon Solo Questions
All four can be solo'd. Zamorak is the easiest. You can consistently get 1-3 kills per solo trip. Armadyl, believe it or not, is second easiest. But you'll only ever get 1 kill per trip. Bandos I'd say is the next. Sometimes you'll be unlucky and not get any, but most of the time you'll get 1 or 2 kills. Saradomin is the hardest. If you hit and run with ranged, you can manage 2-3 a trip but it's REALLY hard work and risky. If you stand and fight, you'll be lucky to get 1. Oh and another trick. K'ril counts as a lesser demon. I can get 15+ kills with a 2 man team when we both have lessers and use black masks. :D

Does your Parent/Guardian play RS?
My father played for a bit. He never got members, and only played for a few months, griping about how much the game sucked all the way. And yet, after 3-4 years of playing, I have 124+ Combat and nearly 1900 skill total... and his mining + smithing are still higher than me. >.<

Halloween: Another let-down?
I don't remember them saying you could fly around on a broom. If I remember, it could sweep or be hovered on, or something to that extent. I'm nearly 100% sure it would've been some sort of emote, where your character soars up 2 feet in the air, then lands back down. Or, waves it around pointlessly on the ground. And IMO, hoods are awesome. I've got 5 Cape of Achievement hoods and Ahrims Hood, but I still voted for it, just because I thought it would be cooler than any of the other options. The bone brooch would've been my second choice. If you could wear the broom and fly from Falador to Camelot, I probably would've voted that. Call me cynical but I doubt that's what Jagex had in mind.

Dragons and Darts/Clues
Wow that was my friend's claim as well. He maged steel dragons long enough to obtain a visage and 15 other dragon drops, and he claims EVERY clue he got was with darts. He solved them immediately after obtaining them... I didn't believe him at first but wow...

Post your AWESOME first drops!
During the Fremennick Isles quest, at the end, I had to kill like 10 trolls. On my tenth troll, I noticed 2 rune kites + 1 granite shield on the ground. Not sure if it counts but meh. :D

Dragon longsword. Bad rep from Dragon scimitar?
Speed is fairly overrated at times. By the way, any godsword, especially Armadyl, has much more damage capacity a minute than scimitar, as well as much more knockout ability. I think scimitar might do more damage per minute than a d long though.

Runescape on Wii?
Ummm it seems like quite a few people misunderstood your point. Just to clarify, The Nintendo Wii literally lets you browse the internet. Since Runescape is played entirely online. However, the Wii can't currently utilize Java, meaning you can't actually play RS at the moment on it. Also, since there wasn't a keyboard, typing would be next to impossible. Well, now with a USB keyboard, all that's needed is to get Java onto the Wii. And to be completely honest, I'm sure someone has already done so.

The Magic Revolution
KB says it's 83 xp + 4 per amulet. Not 83 per amulet.

Ring of Wealth: Experimentation Stage
There's a flaw with that. Let's say for example we choose fire giants. We have no idea what is a "rare" drop and what is a "common" drop. Fire Giants drop rune scimitars, rune arrows(12), dragon medium helms, coins, gemstones, half keys, herbs, and half a dozen other items. If you kill 20 giants, it's unlikely you'll get the same drop 3 or more times. Chaos druids are somewhat better, dropping herbs a quarter of the time. This is easiest to measure... how many herbs total did you get within say, 10,000 kills? If the amount of herbs drastically decreases, it means ring of wealth does work, and herbs are considered common. if the amount of herbs drastically increases, it means the ring of wealth works, and herbs, or at least certain variations of that drop (double herbs) are rare. Ring of Wealth does work. I've done much testing with a few of my friends before, and it definitely works. The question isn't whether or not it works, it's whether or not you should use it. Another monster that may or may not work well is Shadow Warriors. Their drop pool is fairly limited, and drop gemstones fairly often. Just compare the number of gems/half keys/half shields after 10,000 kills, and you should have some pretty clear evidence.

Ring of Wealth: Experimentation Stage
Before you start, I posted this on the other thread but I doubt people read it. Test it on Aberrant Spectres or Chaos Druids. I guarantee within two thousand kills each you WILL notice a difference in how fast you're collecting herbs. Certain monsters have higher "rare" rates than others, and since Double and Triple Herbs are on the rare wheel, or at least appear so, it's very recognizable there. And depending on the monster I may be willing to participate.

Ring of Wealth: Superstition?
Ring of wealth DOES work, and it HAS been proven to work and confirmed by Jagex. Hopefully you all know that the way a ring of wealth works is that a monster has two drop lists, "normal" and "rare". When you kill a monster, there's a chance of using the rare drop list instead, which contains items such as Gemstones, Half Keys, Dragon Half Shields, Dragon Spears, etc. Well, the only way to really prove this is to take a drop that's fairly common, and see if a Ring of Wealth affects it. I chose Aberrant Spectres, because herbs, double herbs, and triple herbs are all fairly common drops. Wearing a ring of wealth GREATLY increased the speed which I could collect a full inventory of herbs. This was tested for over 200 trips, and I saw a consistent increase in the frequency at which herbs dropped. Conclusion? Ring of wealth DOES affect the rate of drops between the two drop lists. As for whether you should use it... The fact is, we are unable to classify most drops. Is an abyssal whip on the rare list or the normal list? For the most part, the only items that we can be almost 100% sure about are gemstones, half keys, dragon left half and dragon spear. Wearing a ring of wealth when searching for ANYTHING else is a gamble. It'll either increase your odds, or decrease your odds, depending on whether your guess was correct. And finally, the improvement isn't THAT great. If you had say 10% chance of getting a rare drop, you wouldn't have 20 with a ring of wealth. you'd have a 10% increase ON 10%, meaning you'd have an 11% chance of getting a rare drop. I wouldn't use it unless you're collecting herbs or training on monsters like shadow warriors. The only good shadow warrior drops are all rares, like gems, half keys, spears, and left halves. Otherwise, instead of taking a gamble, equip a ring that's actually guaranteed to be beneficial.

Why Jagex Why?
Starcraft is a national sport in Korea. :D :D :D Okay fine that's a bit of an exaggeration... but Starcraft is VERY popular in Korea lol. And when I visited Taiwan, Warcraft (Not World of Warcraft) is one of the most popular games there. I wouldn't be surprised if loads of people there play Runescape.

Dark Bow Vs Magic Shortbow
I remember testing the Dark Bow once. First, it's attack range on BOTH rapid and long range is 10. That matches the crystal bow. It's interesting to note that there's no weapon (except maybe cannon, haven't tested that one) that has an attack range greater than 10. And there's no reason to use long range on the Dark Bow besides defence experience. Second, it's special attack can hit a theoretical 92, as the max hit ever seen with one arrow on special is 46. It may be higher and if you have pictures proving otherwise please post. Also, it shoots exactly twice per five attacks with an MSB. Meaning an MSB deals one extra hit every two attacks with the Dark Bow, but the Dark Bow is more accurate, and deals more damage at once. It's pretty much useless as a primary weapon in PvP. Just hitting high isn't enough, you need to hit fast to keep them healing, although it is a VERY good knockout weapon. It's deadly accurate, and my favorite weapon at Dagannoth Kings now. Also, it's full attack range doesn't hurt. It can use dragon arrows, so if you're planning to use ONLY dragon arrows, you can deal more damage/set amount of time than Magic Shortbow if you're attacking a target weak enough that you hit practically every time. So don't plan on PKing with JUST a darkbow. The fact is, you can't take out anyone with max HP in one shot, even in void, and they'll just heal themselves then hit back between every attack. But if it's some monster you used to use a crystal bow on for accuracy, use dark bow instead. Also if you have 10k dragon arrows and their price drops to the abyss, then dark bow is a feasible alternative for a training weapon.

YOUR BEST TRADE EVER?
Was this a donation or was someone quitting? What was it? I am curious... His friend loaned him the bones. And he STILL hasn't paid that friend back yet... :P

Who was first? - I'll tell you....
Zezima didn't get 99 hunter until around a month or so after it was released. Yea that's the only exception, Nova didn't get any hunter if I remember. I don't think Nova was ever the first to max in all skills...

Bandos safespot?
Run to NW corner to lure all the sergeants and Graardor north of the alcove, and west so they can not range you in the alcove. Run into the Alcove. All 4 should be trapped on the wall north of it. Run to SW corner. Steelwill and Grim[bleep]e will not move. Strongstack and Graardor will chase south. Run north. Strongstack will be trapped south of the Alcove. - If Graardor is pushed east or north, you are NOT safe and should repeat this step. - If Graardor does not move, or is pushed south, you ARE safe, and can proceed. Kill Graardor with protect melee on. His range attack is blocked, due to the properties of the wall and his unusual position. If you take damage from his range attack, you messed up the previous step and he is not south enough.

Where Have All the Generous People Gone too?
If I'm going to kill dragons, I'd kill until I got as much out of them as possible too. If they'd rather you compete with them for kills, then take the kills. More often than not clues give you nothing. So either make it up by doing them quickly, or if that's not possible, take a few extra minutes and make some cash while doing the clue. That seems perfectly reasonable. I've given away d'hides before many times. It's not THAT hard to get kills at taverly or hero's, so giving away 1-4 hides isn't that big of a deal.

The most peaceful place in runescape.
- I bet you never knew... ~\500+ facts collected/~
"...that in real life, monkfish is a type of shark?" That's a bit misleading. There are two types of Monkfish, one is considered an Anglerfish, and the other is an Angel Shark. Seeing as the entire fishing colony is based off an actual British fishing location (similar names too), and they harvest the Anglerfish variation, which also appear more similar to the RS version, it should really say "...that in real life, monkfish is a type of anglerfish?" - I bet you never knew... ~\500+ facts collected/~
