99 Summoning Cape - UNTRIMMED!
By the way, 99 summoning is definitely, absolutely, 100% possible without getting another 99. Get Attack, Defence, Strength both to ~98. That'll put hitpoints at ~98 as well. You should have a good amount of charms, but probably nowhere near enough. Use a cannon for ~98 range. This won't affect hitpoints, but will boost your range up albeit slower than using normal techniques. Again, this will give you a good amount of charms, but probably not quite enough. When all is said and done, you're summoning level will be decent, but not quite there. Now there's two ways to train it. 1 - Buy Saradomin Brews in bulk, and keep your attack and strength at 0. Equip flowers so you can't damage anything. Now have your mid-high level summoning monsters kill for you, using their abilities as you go. 2 - Buy Pouches from the Grand Exchange, and infuse into scrolls. The problem is that 99 summoning without any other 99s is going to be VERY expensive. If you're relying on woodcutting, I won't be surprised if you reach 99 woodcut before summoning... so expect to do some mining or fishing as well. Maybe also do slayer, so you can have some nice drops to help pay for it. Good luck if you decide to stick with it...

quitting (I think) rate my final stats
Just FYI, there's software called screen scrapers that can get around bank PINs. Not sure exactly how hard it is to utilize and write one, I only know they exist.

More Grand Excrement Lies
First: In order for someone to be ripping people off, people have to be willing to be ripped off. On the first day of the GWD, Dragon Boots were 2m a pair easily. Even 2 weeks later, some of the purchasers THANKED me for selling them the pair early for 2m. There is some degree of entertainment from having dozens of people gawking over your new boots... that came into the game an hour ago and fewer than 100 people have. People KNOW items are generally overpriced right away. The people who spent 30m for dragon legs on the first day KNEW they would be missing out later. They wanted to be one of the first players to ever wear dragon platelegs. They chose to pay for it. Jagex said clearly they would not impose these restrictions on new items. They should have stayed true to this promise.

The Ultimate GWD Guide (AOW Discussion) Updated 6-17-2008
Read. I said if your not using a black mask, piety is critical. You can get by at level 90 with godsword, black mask, and chivalry. Again, Piety isn't a requirement unless you're low attack, not using a godsword, AND not using piety. You need the attack bonus. Also, I'm really not sure how you got hit so badly. When I tried to get a picture for my guide, K'ril refused to special me and I killed him twice without getting hit by his rampage. Even when he's not on a losing streak, he's never specialed me more than twice or three times per solo. I think you just hit a streak of bad luck...
-
Special Guide - Saradomin sword
Also, that's incorrect since I've hit a 40-16 with Saradomin Sword's special attack. Admittedly I was wearing a black mask. Maybe the 15% damage bonus applies to the special, although in theory it shouldn't because the special is a magical attack...

Amen to that dude. Also as stated previously, none of the photos are working, says something about bandwith. Yea I realize that, I'm trying to fix that now. Considering uploading all my images elsewhere, photobucket's being a pain.

Where on Gielenor do you get your information...?
Commander Zilyana doesn't drop that either... She drops Saradomin hilt which can be used to make a Godsword... no monster drops a Godsword.
-
Where on Gielenor do you get your information...?
We always kill Zilyana first because of how fast the minions spawn. The two drops we received afterward, one came from Starlight, one from Bree. Just as a general Godwars Rule: Every minion drops ALL the Godwars exclusive items except for hilts that their leader drops. Bandos minions drop Bandos armor, Zamorak minions drop steam staffs and zamorak spears, Armadyl minions drop armadyl armor, and Saradomin minions drop Saradomin Swords. And short request, can you possibly capitalize my name in credits? : Oh and my friend "Madmanpur3" wants to add these items to the drop list for Zilyana as well: Silver Ore (Noted, 100) Dragonstone Adamant Javelins (Not sure of number, it's rare enough we've only had one drop in about 3k kills... but it was 17 Javelins.) Steel Arrows (145-150) Law Runes (38-42) She has TWO different law rune drops. Either it's the small one, with less than 50, or the one with about 100. Dragon Med Helm

The Ultimate GWD Guide (AOW Discussion) Updated 6-17-2008
There seems to be a problem with some of the pictures right now. Only about 2/3 of the pictures are showing up for me... something about bandwidth or what not. I'm going to look into it some more, and possibly change a hosting site. _______________________________ To the person before who has having trouble with Zamorak, I looked at your highscores and I think I found the reason you're not doing well against Zamorak. - You don't even meet the bare minimum reqs for a non-GS user. Your only melee stat that is 85+ is Strength, and it's exactly 85. That's not the most useful stat in Godwars. - You don't have 70 prayer. I'm gonna guess you don't have the Knight Waves prayers either. Piety is pretty much CRITICAL, especially if you aren't using a black mask. Do NOT use Chivalry. You get far less bonuses, and it drains at the same rate as Piety (Approximately 40 points per minute, with +0 prayer.) If you're not using a godsword, get 90 attack, defence, and strength, and 70 prayer, and finish Knight Waves. Then use a Whip/Defender combo with a black mask and you should be able to defeat him fairly easily. If you ARE using a godsword, just get attack to 90, get 70 prayer, and finish Knight Waves. Black Mask will still be helpful, but I can't tell you for sure if it's a requirement or not: test it and see. As far as team trips go: Just make sure everyone keeps HP above 70, and prayer above 30. Then you're in good shape. I'd say the same applies to you. I've looked you up and your stats seem a bit low to try any solo boss. If you want to solo Zamorak, get the stats I suggested for the other person before making your attempt. If you just want to kill him, get all 80+, and get a team of 4-5. You should be able to kill him several times that way.

The Ultimate GWD Guide (AOW Discussion) Updated 6-17-2008
Before I explain why I call him the easiest boss, there's a few things you might have overlooked. First: Do you meet the attack and strength suggested levels, use a Godsword, and have the attack and strength boosting items suggested? Were you using your super sets? And were you using Piety? If so, there's no way you miss that often. K'ril has the lowest defence to melee attacks of the four bosses, so I don't think you can hit that many 0s on him. Second: Do you meet the defence requirements? Were you using the Karils/Veracs Hybrid? If so, you should NOT have been overwhelmed by the minions. K'ril himself almost never hits you if you pray melee and use part karils. Only his rampage should be causing you problems, and he uses it rarely. Third: How often did he use his special attack against you? He usually never uses it more than twice in one fight against me. Also, when I was writing this guide, I did a solo trip to get the pictures I used. I had him redbarred without using ANY supplies, and I just let him hit me for several minutes while trying to get a picture of his special attack. Since you don't see that picture, it should be obvious I was unsuccessful in that... Fourth: How careful were you in watching your prayer and hitpoints? I've found it works best to eat when I'm under 65, and heal to over 90 before I resume trying to attack. Alright, now to address your concerns. First, as aforementioned, K'ril is the only boss that counts as a slayer monster. That means, you can get a 15% attack and strength bonus against his already substandard melee defense. Second, K'rils mage attack does very little damage, and is very inaccurate. Not to mention, he seems to use it rarely (I'd estimate the melee attacks to mage attacks ratio at 2:1). Bearing that in mind, using protect from melee prayer means you take very little damage from K'ril. I've fought whole rounds with him without a scratch caused by him personally. As for you taking a team, experience matters fairly little here. The only real important bit of information is to keep your hitpoints high, since K'ril WILL occasionally squash you through your prayers. He doesn't do this often, and if you keep your hitpoints high you should never die from it. If you really are still having troubles with it, I'll show you a solo trip in game. Just PM me and I'll show you how to solo him, in-game. It's not that challenging... Also, while Graardor doesn't hit nearly as high as K'ril does if you're using prayer, he uses his range attack far more often than K'ril uses his prayer-break, and it's much more accurate. When Solo-ing Bandos's General, the majority of the damage is actually caused by the boss.

The Ultimate GWD Guide (AOW Discussion) Updated 6-17-2008
Just a short update. As you all know, the recent unbalanced trade updates made splitting with teams pretty much impossible. The bounty hunter method I suggested before is now impossible as well, due to the fact that Jagex left us with only 2 bounty hunter worlds. I realize you could use the method I had listed before, where you just take turns getting drops by manipulating lootshare. That can still be done, but as most of my team agreed we're better off doing solo trips, whether to GWD or DKs, I probably won't be adding the void or ancients section until after the lootshare updates. However, after summoning I will look into whether or not summoning helps at GWD, and if it turns out to be an effective weapon, I'll add it to the guide.

Jordan, did you give your account away after you quit? Or get hacked? Because someone else logs on that account periodically... I tried to talk to him/you but he/you didn't know who I was.

Godswords ... whats the deal ??
If an item is worth, say, 40,000,000, then using the GE prices, the price range is 36,000,000 to 44,000,000. That's a gap for a 4M RWT trade. The idea of the GE is to allow you to make unbalanced trades ONLY if it's anonymous. You don't get to pick who you sell to or buy from.

The God Wars Dungeon for Level 120+ Players (AoW)
First of all, why are you instantly rude to anyone that has the slightest bit of advice for your guide? There is no need to get defensive, they are not personal attacks. How hard a boss is to solo depends mostly on your own skill. I don't see much benefit argueing about it here. In regards to dragon boots (from above), people to to the dungeon for fun and the chance of rare drops. You can make far more money at sara boss then camping for boots. 1) Statwise, Zilyana is way harder than K'ril. K'ril very rarely hits 50s, his special doesn't occur all that often, and flat out statwise, anyone over level 100 can probably kill him once or twice with the help of a black mask. Probably more. However, I have known people able to kill Zilyana at least twice as many times. They're VERY skilled, and have a LOT of experience however. 2) Dragon boots do cover the costs most of the time but it's fairly irrelevant... if anything, dragon boots covers the TIME spent getting kill count, putting sara on an even footing. Both Zamorak and Bandos have weak minions you can get killcount from very quickly. Armadyl's minions drop rune items and adamant bars, and Sara's minions drop rune items and dragon boots, to make up the fact they're slower. 3) Either you made that up, or you can't count. I'm sorry but after my team has collectively obtained 7 Saradomin Hilts and 22 Saradomin Swords, I'd estimate it about 1:400 to 1:500 for a hilt, and at about 1:50 to 1:100 for a Saradomin Sword. These are estimates, however, so don't go "omg I got 120 kills and didn't get a Sword." Doesn't work that way. 4) If you're trying to provide information to the public, then we ARE minding our own business. We're part of your audience too, and we do have a right to comment if it seems some of your information is inaccurate. Also, I've done well over twenty Saradomin solos and assisted solos. It's safe enough I brought a santa hat once instead (got way fewer kills since no defence from helm, but it was fun). In short: - Don't provide statistics, especially if you haven't got a clue what the actual values are, and ESPECIALLY if they depend on the user's skill level. - Again, I still don't understand why you insist on writing a guide for something you've never tried... but that's your liberty so I'll refrain from criticizing it. - If you can't handle ratings from people who are already familliar with the subject you are writing about, then you really shouldn't make a guide. I think you need to understand this. The God Wars Dungeon is NOT a place that everyone already has a good idea about. Honestly, if I wrote a guide to tell people to go after Kree with Halberds and 10% strength instead of piety, I'm sure there will STILL be people who post "10/10 I'm gonna go try this soon." Notice that most people who ranked you 10/10 are people who have not tried to do a professional GWD trip, and they usually follow their rating with "This inspired me to go try it" or "I'll be trying it soon with some friends." My point is, they have no idea what it's like and therefore, their ratings are not an accurate reflection of the quality of your guide. Versus, all the GOF and SOBD members, and the other pro monster hunters who posted here with less than fully positive ratings are people who HAVE been there, who HAVE seen the bosses fought properly, and therefore are offering advice. If you can't take criticism from people who know the subject then you really should avoid making a guide about it. Especially since every comment so far from one of those people seems fairly valid. If you disagree, you should try to EXPLAIN why you disagree. Again, this is difficult from the perspective of someone who has never even experienced the activity he is writing about, let alone fully researched. After looking over your guide, I think it deserves a 6/10. A lot of good information is presented, and it is fairly well organized. I'd guess Bandos is the one GWD boss you're most familliar with, seeing as your guide for that is the most complete. Like before, you're Saradomin Guide fails to tell people what kind of danger they're facing, and what skills they need. Again, this is probably due to your own lack of experience. If you didn't include a Saradomin Guide, at least until you've been able to visit it to gauge the difficulty level yourself, I'd rate it an 8/10.

LEESTERS REBORN - Lost in Albion - Last page.
If that's your real only chance, then honestly you might not have much of one. The best publicly available method for you to use would probably be to hide against the south wall (so that Bree does not attack you), then use full veracs. If you want you can also run back and forth to reduce Zilyana's advantage in speed, but that'll require plenty of purple sweets. I bet Lee probably DID have a picture, but I told him us three (Me, Madmanpur3, and Lee) would probably put up a combined gallery sometime. : Maybe he just wants to save the picture until then. Give us a red p hat and sara gs pic though Lee. :D In Zilyana's room... heheh.

LEESTERS REBORN - Lost in Albion - Last page.
I thought you knew me better than that Lee. :( I wasn't talking much mostly cause of you and the others fighting. You deserved the hilt 100%, and you needed it waaaaay more than I did anyways. Congratulations! : Oh and yea I did end up getting mine too. :D Honestly, the team trips were way more fun though. Jagex better fix that dang lootshare soon.

help with lvl 3 skiller outfit?
Get a Black Fremmenick Cloak if you don't like Obsidian Capes. It's slightly darker, longer, and overall just much better looking than the common black cape. Also, I personally think Obsidian Necklace or Berserker Necklace looks cooler than fury. Should also match your outfit better.

Sargeants drop hilts?
As stated by all the others above. Tip.It's database is inaccurate on this, and they still refuse to update even though I posted in website corrections. :( NONE of the bodyguards of any boss drop hilts. Bandos Bodyguards: Bandos Chestplate, Tassets, Boots Armadyl Bodyguards: Armadyl Helm, Chestplate, Plateskirt Saradomin Bodyguards: Saradomin Sword Zamorak's Bodyguards: Steam Staff, Zamorakian Spear

Raising a skill to 100 with cape. Do benefits still apply?
Magic cape is one of the skill capes that actually IS beneficial. For those of you who didn't know, level 100 magic increases your max hit with slayer dart. Also, there's no once-per-minute restriction on it. Prayer or Hitpoints are less useful since you can only use it once per minute, and once it's under 99, you can't use it.

...
"known" if you read sig-just thought maybe i was first to solo seeing as not many people go sara boss compared to armadyl I've been solo-ing her ever since the update. Gotten a Sword already, and my friend got a Sword and Hilt, hilt before you did. :\ She's not THAT hard. Edit: Hate to burst your bubble, but the hilt was recieved on January 4th, at about 12:00 MST.

Commander Zilyana (level-596) Drops
I've been fighting Zilyana a lot recently and I just wanted to point out some items missing from the drop list. Weapons - Rune Sword, Rune Battleaxe, Rune Spear, Saradomin Sword, Rune Darts(37-40) Armor - Rune Plateskirt, Rune Kiteshield, Adamant Platebody Runes/Arrows - Law Runes (95-100), Death Runes (45-50) Also, wanted to point out "Herbs" is now "Grimy Ranarrs". Her potion drops are as follows: - 3 Saradomin Brew (3) and 3 Super Restore Potion (4) - 3 Super Defence Potion (3) and 3 Magic Potion (3) - 3 Prayer Potion (4) Super Restores are dropped in (4)s, not (3)s, and she also drops prayer potions fairly frequently. Growler, Bree, and Starlight have the following drops: Gold: 1200-1600 100%: Bones Weapons: Saradomin Sword Armour: None Runes/Arrows: 7-10 Law Runes, 95-100 Steel Arrows, 95-100 Steel Darts Misc: Grimy Ranarr, Snape Grass (Noted, 5), Unicorn Horn (Noted, 6), Godsword Shard 1, 2, and 3, Monkfish (3), Summer Pie (1) Also, they are NOT undead. Bree is a Centaur, Growler a Lion, and Starlight a Unicorn. Salve is not effective on any. They do not drop Saradomin Hilt. Also, it is worth noting that all three minions spawn EXTREMELY fast if Zilyana is still alive, and automatically spawn when Zilyana respawns. If you find this information useful, please add the name "Toohey1612" to the credits as well as mine. Thanks. _________________________________________________________ Edit: Okay, I had to add some corrections to the other monsters as well. Sergeant Grim[bleep]e, Steelwill, Strongstack do NOT drop Bandos Hilt. They drop Bandos Tassets, not "Tasse". They also drop Super Strength Potion (3). Again, none of them are undead. Balfrug Kreeyath, Zakl'n Gritch, and Tstanon Karlak do NOT drop Zamorak Hilt. They are NOT undead. The clues they drop are level 3 clues, not level 2. They also drop Zamorakian Spear and Steam Battlestaff. Finally: - Kreeyath is a black demon. - Gritch is a lesser demon. - Karlak is a greater demon. These apply to slayer missions as well. Also, K'ril Tsutsaroth (Level-650) is a lesser demon. Again, this applies to slayer missions. His max hit is 50, not "above 50" as you have it. I don't know the Armadyl Minions as well, but like before, they are NOT undead. They do NOT drop "Armadyl Hilt". They DO drop Armadyl Helm, Armadyl Chestplate, and Armadyl Plateskirt.

Saradomin Godsword = Win. (Uses)
Just clarifying really quick: The Saradomin Godsword ALWAYS gives you 10 HP and 5 Prayer if it hits. Hitting a 0 does not always mean it missed. Take Wind Strike for example. It can hit 0, 1, or 2. However, it can also miss, at which you'll see the splash, and no splats will appear at all. The same rule generally applies to melee and ranged attacks, except that it shows a "0" for a miss instead of a little splash. In other words, you can hit a 0 miss, or a 0 to Max hit. On the 0 miss, you will not heal, but when you hit, but did 0 damage, it counts as a successful attack. Also, to be honest, Zilyana is not as hard as you think.
-
Dark Bow = Longbow?
Dark bow, long bow, and Crystal bows are always range 10, even when on rapid/long range. Magic has an attack range of 10 as well.

The Ultimate GWD Guide (AOW Discussion) Updated 6-17-2008
Actually, I left that out intentionally since I don't want to provide inaccurate information. Not every item gives 1 pray point. It might be a bug, but Saradomin Cloak for certain gives more than 1. Since I don't know how much each item gives, and it's not really important, I decided to leave it out, since it's fairly insignificant. If you know the formula for how many extra points you get that would be great.
