  1. Okay that sounds more reasonable. They seem to be rune arrows with slightly more range bonus that attack a small area.
  2. My brother is level 84 range and hit a 16 at castlewars with a red. I'm pretty sure the max is higher than 21. :-w
  3. That I can agree with. Onyx are really nice looking stones IMO.
  4. Black salamanders with 20 body guards? ;)
  5. The international avoirdupois pound isn't really used. The proper measurement of mass in the English system is the Slug I believe. 0.031... slugs exerts 1 pound of force. And actually, noone said "it can be a unit of mass and force". Yes, there is technical method of using pounds as mass but I don't believe that's the one they're using. That may be the modern practice but scientifically, it's still wrong. It's more convenient but still false.
  6. The guy on the left looks like my sports medicine teacher from sophomore year.
  7. 2kg is 4.4 lb That is false. 2kg IS NOT 4.4 lb. Pounds is a measurement of FORCE in the english system, while Kilograms is a measurement of MASS. 2 Kilograms EXERTS approximately 4.4 pounds of force at earthnorm gravity. However, 2 Kilograms is NOT 4.4 pounds. Well for us in The United Stats we are taught 1 kg = 2.2lbs other than that we don't go into detail the metric system simply cause its not that important to us.... Or at least my school doesn't think so .... Before anyone says "In the USA were taught 2.2 pounds = 1 kilogram", I was born in America and always attended public schools in America. And that is where we learned that kilograms are mass, and pounds are weight/force. If I had said 10 miles is equal to 20 minutes, someone definitely would have corrected me as well, because I am taking it out of context. Yes, a car will go approximately 10 miles in 20 minutes if it's driving at an average velocity of 30 miles per hour, but that doesn't make 10 miles equal to 20 minutes. It's a similar situation with pounds and kilograms. They are completely different units of measurement, but can be derived from each other from certain formulas. If I had gone around posting that 10 miles is 20 minutes , someone would certainly correct me as well. This is not "arrogance". It's just another attempt to stop further spreading of a common misconception. And back on topic, a cape made out of obsidian plates would definitely weight more than 19.6 N on earth. But there also aren't boots that reduce your mass. Magic applies to both I suppose.
  8. You stole Leesters thread title! You're under arrest! :P
  9. When the abyss was first released you could PK with magic by using the spell book screen.
  10. When they attack you while you are doing that, they are accomplishing what Jagex intended. Namely, they provide danger to justify the large potential rewards from clue scrolls, or the speed of agility and runecraft training. And it's not really fair to say that it's "obviously not worth it". For example, if suddenly PKers COULD NOT attack clue scroll solvers, how many more level 3 clue scrolls could get solved? All these solved clues mean more zamorak pages and more rune armor. More zamorak pages means pures have an easier time training, making potentially dangerous opponents, while more rune armor reduces the value of their PKed rune armor. There is also a chance the clue solver accidentally brought money with him into the wilderness. Or perhaps he had solved the clue in the wild and foolishly opened a casket with a robin hood hat in level 50 or 35 wilderness. (Like me and my little brother.) People PK daggers and whips at the agility arena too. Again, the trainer might have 50k-100k for some reason. Even if they don't have anything especially valuable, even cakes can help. What if the PKer was walking away from portal and took a blow from the chaos elemental? Maybe he doesn't want to waste sharks and would rather eat this cake the agility trainer was using? PKers have every right to attack any other player in the wilderness. In part, that is what holds this game together. There are some PKers who think they should only fight other PKers, because PKing is to experience a challenging and entertaining fight against another player. At the same time, there are other PKers who kill just for money. They want free stuff. Then there are PKers who kill to keep the wilderness dangerous. PKing is not "right" or "wrong". It just is.
  11. Strange. I'll have him go get a few more cause I saw a 21... may have been something else but I remember it was a red Chinchompa. I'll ask him.

  13. It's great you like history, and even though to many it's not actually "racist", this may offend muslims somewhat. :? That's why when I started my clan I made it very clear it was not a reference to the European crusaders. Perhaps you should change the theme a bit.
  14. People always demand high-tech equipment, then complain "OMG the skills worthless!" when they release grenades and flamethrowers. :(
  15. The evil chicken sabotaged their picture - dictionary.
  16. level 3 clue - 65, blue dragon dragon drop - 94, Aberrant Specter, dragon half shield million gp - 44. Unfortunately, I spent 800k of it on a cannon. d left half - See dragon drop.
  17. To everyone who is complaining about green dragon PKers and Abyss PKers. Clue scrolls, green dragons, abyss, and many other potentially profitable activities are placed in the wilderness. That's right, "placed", as in JAGEX PUT THEM THERE. That is BECAUSE Jagex WANTS PKers to kill people who attempt those actvities, therefore making them more dangerous. There is absolutely nothing wrong with attacking people who are runecrafting or killing green dragons, UNLESS you are one of those people who are screaming about it being wrong. As for whether PKing is right or wrong, it just is. If you don't like it, don't like being attacked, don't like losing your stuff, then don't go into wilderness. There's noone telling you that you have to go to wilderness. Yes there are a few rewards that you must go into wilderness for, but that's the price you have to pay. You can't expect a fire cape without killing Jad. To get a good reward you have to do something unpleasant / difficult / time consuming.
  18. The chimchompa's are A LOT better than you think they are. First, as I believe someone already mentioned, they work wonderfully in pest control. Void knight down to 40 hp, purple portal still at 250 with spinners everywhere. I threw 6-7 chimchompas in, and the portal was dead with in seconds. Another use that I thought of, but haven't yet tested, is training. Lighthouse dagganoths, with a cannon and 10k chimchompas. Throw them with a medium or short fuse into tight formations and just watch your XP grow. Last thing... I don't know why your max hit values are so low. Some random guy gave my brother ONE red chimchompa. My brother accidentally tossed it at a guard and hit a 21 and he's 84 range... at least he claims it was an accident. He may have potted up and turned on prayer, I'm not sure.
  19. You're going to give up level 3 to beat lost city? Just beat it at level 3 with recoils and someone casting vengeance :D
  20. Farming is ridiculously profitable if you know how to use it. JUST using My Arm's patch, 5 minutes out of every hour adds another 25k to the profit you are already making. That's technically 300k per hour of WORK you're doing. So if you're doing something else for money, over the course of 12 hours, 1 hour of work you put in just made you an extra 300k.
  21. Trading santa and 200k for whip.
  22. It's wierd, my friend X Arikado X always loses in a complete fight against a rune pure. However, since neither he nor his opponent eat when they're over 30 HP, he actually killed the rune pure once or twice. It seems that if you're high strength, you have a better chance of actually killing. However, defence helps you outlast your opponent.
  23. Making history I believe, until the quests released after the cape.
  24. It only hits in a 1 space radius so its horrible for fight caves. Blast, foiled again! :x Ownt What's wrong with using it for fight caves? I'm planning to do fight caves with whip... Doing it with crystal bow is so horribly cliche... I'd prefer doing it with a salamander just to be doing something different...
  25. I've done over 1000 just on *1* portal... i had 4 brawlers on me so I couldn't reach the spinner and the level 64 just called me a noob for asking him to help.
