  1. Construction is a great moneysaver... but not much of a money maker unless you're using it to scam. Maybe selling tele tablets or making construction supplies but that's about it for money making.
  2. Neither of them bother me. The PKers are doing what they're supposed to do. They're making the Abyss and Agility Arena dangerous as Jagex intended when placing them in the wilderness. Honestly, if you're in the wilderness, and you get killed by another player you can't complain. It was your choice to train quickly and risk being PKed.
  3. Dagannoth Kings Trips will Be cut in Half. And Fight Caves will Be impossible until this is fixed. Oh great... not gonna be able to barrow without pray pots nemore... =( Fight caves is still possible though. The last time I tried Jad I had 4 pray pots left when I died and I was 3/4 of the way through Jad. If you use supers it shouldn't be a problem.
  4. Ectophial IS stopped by protect magic... at least last time I checked it was...
  5. That's downright deadly :ohnoes: This update is trash. Ranging was fun because it was so simple. Custimization is for mages. Ranging is simple. Fighting is exciting and unpredictable. now jagex, stop changing it. It should always be: Warriors: Unpredictable and costly, average Rangers: Predictable and cheap, simple Mages: Specialized and expensive, complex With the new updates like barrows gloves, defenders, and lunar magics... Warriors: Simple Rangers: Expensive, Specialized, complex, unpredictable, simple when used correctly Mages: Specialized, costly. It used to be where you targeted the warriors first, and mages were in cheap robes and rangers wore dainty outfits. Thanks to the new update, it is useless to kill a ranger. The only thing you get out of it is dragonhide, and MAYBE a crossbow worth 60k. Oh goodie, i just used a super set and 15 sharks for this. And if they protect the crossbow, you just wasted food for another set of dragonhide, because they don't drop ammo or gloves and usually not cape. Now everyone targets mages and warriors, because at least they drop their ammo and their robs are more expensive. This is such a lame update... And yes, I am complaining because I am not a ranger. I'm sure, if I were a ranger, that I would be dancing. But you know what? Its UNFAIR that mages got such a junk update like lunar magic that is useful for NOTHING but farming. Now we get rangers who drop nothing in the wildy and who just kill everyone at staking. And warriors, go you. Now you can kill mages with a simple dagger. Jagex officially ruined the wildy with this one... it was already ruined, but this sent it over the edge. Edgeville, I should say. Go tell that to the billion of "OMG RANGE UNDERPOWER NUBS! WE NEED UPDATES!" people on official RS forums. Those fruitcakes need to stop acting so spoiled.
  6. I like rimmington. It's quiet.
  7. FYI, Jagex leaked that: Range prays will be at levels 8, 17, and 44 Mage prays will be at levels 9, 18, and 45. That's from the picture they leaked and the only levels available between. Either they'll change all the current levels, or their minds about these prays... but most likely those will be the levels. The best will be higher than protect melee but lower than smite. =\
  8. Yes, demons must be nice and pretty... [/sarcasm]. Last time I checked, demons are SUPPOSED to be ugly. Of course, RS demons look like teddy bears right now...
  9. That's 3m+ in just coal... wow...
  10. Well ur post kinda contradicts itself, cause i can get dharok plate and legs for 1.9 mill maybe 1.8. Which one is better, and how much are toraqs worth (u said ur not sure) If you're rich, go with Dharoks. Otherwise, Torags. Dharoks has lower defence. Neither set can fight well just on it's own. Dharoks set effect can be used while training, but it costs A LOT in prayer pots, and you have a good chance of accidentally losing the helm. (accidents happen.) Torags is more useful without the set effect, cheaper, and you don't need to spend as much money on supplies. Not to mention if you lost your helm in a freak accident, it's cheaper to replace.

My answer: Play. Train on a few monsters here, go back to fishing, continue training magic, etc. Just play exactly the way you play now, except doing a few herblore activities. Nothing kills this game as much as forcing yourself to continuosly train one skill you don't enjoy. Don't go for "fast". Go for "fun". It keeps this game a lot more interesting... don't get too obsessive.
  12. For everyone getting excited over the new bows, don't. Jagex didn't mention any update regarding our current weapons. They said they would be enhancing CROSSBOWS. Don't be too hopeful, I don't believe these crossbows will be hitting 30+. That would make Karils bow and other range equipment completely dead. My guess would be making crossbows as good as MSB's for combat, with a slightly different special. Maybe a LITTLE bit better... but probably not too much.
  13. First, get a friend to make you a pair of magic potions. Finish up family crest for the gauntlets. (Use magic potion to get 4 levels of magic which will let you fireblast the demon.) Then spend your money on chaos runes and antifire potions. Go down to Karamja dungeon and kill iron and steel dragons. Rune knives and darts are pretty valuable, and they drop dragon items more often than most monsters. If you stand away from them, they'll ONLY use fire on you. Then just use anti fire shield and potion and you'll be safe.
  14. Go all the way to the dagganoth kings. Instead of going down the ladder into the arena, keep going east and you'll find a guy who will trade you sharks for them. To the poster, you can always fight with them. ;)
  15. Maybe noone knows. Or maybe whoever does know doesn't want to tell you because he dislikes the idea of people sitting around just trading with people to make money. Or maybe he just thinks you're too rude to answer.
  16. Buying the item and then alching it directly will ALWAYS result in a loss of money. If you want to make profit alching, there will have to be some steps in between. For example, making your own nats. Buying the materials and making a yew longbow. Mining ore to make your own steel plates. ETC. Yew log = 250 Bowstring = 150 Nature Rune = 320 Adds up to 720 gp, alchs for 768. Yew longbow = 500 Nature rune = 320 Adds up to 820 gp, alchs for 768. It's like this with almost everything. The only way you'll make profit is doing part of the work yourself.

I would start over, or give up being pure. 12 defence means you won't be a good pure until 90+ strength. If f2p, go for 40 attack 70+ strength 1 or 40 defence 1 or 31 prayer If you plan to go p2p, 60 or 70 attack 80+ strength 1 or 45 defence 31 or 52 prayer You really won't be a good pure if you have defence, because the idea of being pure is to be able to deal more damage than everyone else at your level. Every other pure at your level will have higher strength because of those defence levels. You're only real hope is to go rune-pure instead, or start over. As for f2p training spots, dark wizards in level 4-5 wild are good, and so are the elemental wizards.
  18. But the break-even point is quite in the distant future. Really? I got 75 construction, and then 70 prayer while helping my brother to 60. Together, we saved about 6m in d bones. That's not including my friends, clan, etc... I'd think we've broken even...
  19. Not a money maker...? First off I've made 400k+ making and selling teleportation tablets... 1200 dragon bones used on the altar. Would've used 2400 more which is about 5m worth, so that's 5mil saved/earned, not counting the 200-300 bones my brother used on it saving him a million too. And I'm guessing you've never met a certain Durial321 who earned a green p hat from construct. :) Just kidding.

"New" bows can be traded. "Full" bows can't. If you want to trade them, you have to buy them for 900k. At least it was like that early on... And I think this is the wrong forum.
  21. Great work mate! I'm flattered you've decided to include my work :) NB: I'm currently reuploading the songs on a new site, so the new working links will be found on page 1 shortly! :P It's amazing man :) Every person who's seen the vid says that song was awesome. :)
  22. http://crusaders.myhotlunch.com/videos/ ... rfare.html Finished editting our clan movie. I used "allstar - archer - rockstar - bubsa" for the credits. You asked to see it so yea =p If you don't trust the link then don't use it but it's safe... my entire clan uses it. Oh... and the short clip of PKing. I hate pking. I only went cause my clan insisted they wanted to PK, and that's why I PK like a noob :).
  23. It's next to impossible to do desert treasure at 10hp... well, perhaps with 43 prayer and 30 friends helping maybe. =\ If muggi wants to try I'll help :)
  24. Even if the Icon looks like Barrage, It would be Rush...LoL This quest looks fun...Can't Wait to get 61 Crafting...59 ATM Ice rush hits 18s, not 10s. It's not either spell, it's a spell of it's own.
