  1. I think you calculated the fletching XP wrong... you get 15 arrows at once, so it's the xp you'll get over 15... lol
  2. Blue, Green and Yellow p hats... My friend found a way to make a quick fortune. He's honestly a really nice guy... probably the nicest pure I know. He let me borrow his blue for a quick photo trick. Later he traded for yellow, green and some other stuff and I borrowed those once too. =\ Plenty of people don't run when lent things. The truth is, it's become common belief that most people will run ONLY BECAUSE if someone posts that they didn't run, they get flamed for "bragging" or what not. Therefore, the only posts you see are people who lent something and the other person ran, leading to the mythconception that most people will steal.
  3. I agree with most of your post except the explanations for why people steal arrows. I'm perfectly willing to take a ranger's arrows at blue dragons. That's because, in my opinion, dragons should be able to fight back. That's my personal belief, and I'm infuriated by the rangers and mages who simply trap the dragons on a stalgamite due to the lack of a ranged attack and hte stupidity of the AI. Therefore, I go out of my way to annoy any ranger or mage who tries such tactics.
  4. It depends on how you originally rotated your garden. It's kind of difficult to put just the way you want it, because there's no guide's whatsoever to how you place your garden, with all 4 sides allowing doors. :-s Luckily it's cheap so you can try over and over again. Build something that doesn't cost much, like portals, to show which direction the dungeon will face... that way you have a 50-50 chance of getting the dungeon entrance the right way.

I'm not 100% sure, but a friend who played WoW said another player, finally got level 60, and died, therefore losing part of his experience points. He got frustrated and did commit suicide... It may not be true, probably just a rumor. But on the same note I wouldn't be surprised if it was true...
  6. You have to click near the end of the "1". I've staked a bit recently, and i just rapid click once i see the 2.. that way I always get the first hit.
  7. The webpage is programmed so if you weren't sent there from the world select, it'll redirect you to the main page. The easiest solution is to turn Javascript off when you're going to world 2. If you don't know what javascript is, then don't mess with it... just take your time getting in. Messing it up will REALLY drive you insane.
  8. High Alch used to be 60k, Low alch used to be 40k. Now, High Alch is 72k, Low alch is 48k. This was changed because of the mystic top dropping scam... friend pked over 80 whips using that trick. And on the subject of what you should do now... Here's some free, basic advice. You're not making money whining on here. Grab some bronze tools, make some cash. Don't go pking or staking or killing big monsters for dragon drops. Find a source of consistent profit and just stick with it. Begging is just wasting time.
  9. Hiya Jard =) I was kinda hoping you were unbanned... cause you seriously love these forums lol. How many times have you made accounts to get around the bans now? Anyways... hopefully TIF will take it as how much you love their forums instead of how much you love rulebreaking. ;)
  10. I've got to disagree with part of that. Coins are stackable for obvious reasons, but not because of size. Just imagine it, haveing to note coins every time your going to buy something, monsters could drop 28 gp completely maximum and if they did you'd have to drop your whole invent for... 28 GP. Runes are stackable because well mageing would be impossible to train of course. Imagine it, walk to barrows, ice burst dharok 2 or 3 times only to hit about 1\3 of his HP of and then "woops out of runes got to bank". Not too handy at all eh? Runes aren't that small either to my knoledge. If it would have to do with size then my tiny little shrimp and sardines would be stackable, but they're not. The reason why all these are or are not stackables is simply gameplay. Gameplay would be TERRIBLE if runes and and coins wouldn't be stackable. Gameplay should always come first rather then realism in my opinion, probably the reason why I like RuneScape. Realism and graphics aren't the best as we may have worked out (although the new graphic update had my mouth dropping in awe to be honest, had no idea java graphics got that good AND smooth animations to boost) . But why needles are stackable has me dumb founded as it does to most, size seems to be the only answer. But I could think of plenty of items which have a similar case as needles do that aren't stackable. If anyone has the actual answer it'd be great to know it : ~Philip Things are not stackable because of size. Glariels pebblie is nonstackable. I'd believe that's smaller than a foot long rune arrow. Pebbles aren't too large.
  11. It's "Totzk-Ket-Xil" I believe...
  12. Yup I had that once. My final decision was to make a suicidal attempt at destroying Jad with a whip... even though it would be my second time to ever try for a fire cape. And I did better than a thought...
  13. Someone solo, who got left behind by his team in world 65? Yea I remember right at the end a team of 3 showed up all wearing guths... Why can't I ever find teams like those... all I get are 3 itemers... =(
  14. Sorry I don't really make many threads on these forums... I mostly just reply to others. :S If a mod wants to move it sure. I do have a picture of the drop... but I have to upload it and imageshack is being a pain right now so I'll post it once it's uploaded.
  15. I've visited the Dagganoth Kings many times since it's release. This is a story of how I finally triumphed over them. ***************************************** If you already know what the Dagganoth Kings are, skip to the next line of asterisks. A bit far back in Runescape History, Jagex released an island known as Waterbirth. It was accessible through a boat from the Fremmenick Province. Various adventurers, heroes, legends flooded down to discover the new treasures, ranging from spined dagganoth hide armors to rockshell plate armor made from the gigantic rock crabs that dwelled within. This island lost it's novelty within a week, and few visited it hence. Until the next update, the Kings of the Dagganoths. A trio of the legendary Dagganoth Kings resided deep within the bowels of this cavern. Adventurers poured down by the thousands, in an attempt to retrieve the legendary rings, seercull bow, mud battlestaff, and the coveted Dragon Axe from the lairs of the mighty beasts: Dagganoth Prime, Dagganoth Rex, and Dagganoth Supreme. Dagganoth Supreme was at the entrance, showering the would-be slayers with deadly barbs. Dagganoth Prime streamed bolts of powerful water magic in, clearing the way for Dagganoth Rex to enter the fray, who promptly smashed adventurers back and forth. All the while, their spinolyp guardians launched a constant barrage of lesser spines and jets of water to discourage the adventurers further. ***************************************** The first time I entered the lair of the Kings, I was swept away by the armies, desperately trying to retrieve these valuable items. I was weaker then, fit for not much but to run around in a frenzy, hoping to grab some leftover items. It was not a pretty sight. People were dying, left and right, leaving valuable pieces of armor all over the floor. With the use of the potions and healing supplies they left I could remain alive long enough to collect some of the rubbish they left before escaping with a teleportation spell, vowing not to return until I was ready to confront these Dagganoths. Several months later, I gathered a small group of my closest friends, prepared for a more organized assault on the Kings. Shiny sets of rune, glowing sets of mystic, and glittering dragonhide armor donned, we set off to fight. The whole fight lasted 15 seconds, in which we were skewered, blasted, and crushed. Out of the 7 who went, 2 survived long enough to hit their ectophial, our emergency escape button. Another few weeks later we collected a larger force. After researching through tip.it forums, we found methods to destroy the dagganoths safely. We tried this method three times. - About 10 people rushed into the lair. - I led Dagganoth Rex away to the safespot. - About 3-4 people would die taking down supreme. - Prime was defeated soundly as Dagganoth Rex was trapped and Supreme down. - Supreme returned, and the remaining warriors attacked him. -Prime returned halfway through and killed the rest. We killed about 15 kings each trip. Them defeating Supreme + Prime, and me defeating Rex 10+ times each trip, before teleporting out to return everyone's items. After three tries, we sort of decided this wasn't the best idea. So the Dagganoth Kings had peace. For a while. I met another great Dagganoth King hunter, by the name of Leesters, offered me a chance to see how to battle the kings properly. Another good friend, Trojann2 came along as well. We fought them perfectly for an hour and a half, killing the kings without getting a scratch for the most part. Yet no treasures were to be found that day. My teammates seemed shocked when I mentioned I never got any of these legendary treasures from the Kings before. So today, I was back to barrows, in lack of a proper team to hunt the Dagganoths. Suddenly, another friend of mine calls me to help his team hunt dagganoths. They promised me they wouldn't leave after 10 minutes like my clan always does. So I agreed to go, and they were true to their word. They didn't leave after 10 minutes, they left after 4. Leaving me alone to deal with these three powerhouses. Great... Well, using all the lessons learned from past battles, I carefully choose a position and continually slay Dagganoth Rex for about an hour and a half. Suddenly, I spot a strange object on the floor. Take Warrior Ring Take Dagganoth Hide Take Dagganoth Bones Walk Here Examine Warrior Ring Examine Dagganoth Hide Examine Dagganoth Bones It's not worth that much... but hey, I earned it. :) Mission accomplished...
  16. Umm honestly, what's there to share? Not that I'm going but I'm just wondering... with any decent sized team, sharing is a waste of time. D med... almost 1 mil... D Square... a tiny bit over 1mil if even... The absolute best drop is a KBD head which is nontradeable...
  17. Yes the graphics are horrible they make the monsters look hideous... demons and dragons are supposed to look happy and friendly right?
  18. As far as I can tell, there really isn't any guide that asks you to have guthans or sara brews when you don't have to have them. For example... fight caves. This is probably what you're referring too... and the truth is, you're not going to do it without several million gold pieces of valuable equipment. Therefore, the most effective equipment and supplies happen to be guthan and sara brews. It could mention using veracs or blood blitz, but as both of these cost nearly as much if not more in the case of blood blitz, there's no point. Guides are just suggestions. If you're rant is simply they don't have any suggestions for poor people, the truth is you're not going to be able to do fight caves with 2m of equipment and 50k of supplies. It's just not going to happen.
  19. I dunno, IMO it's just a few players breathing life into this game. Maybe it's kind of childish, but it's better than players never talking except to trade or to scam... but still, my point is, can't we post about more apporopriate topics? i agree with ajc that this thread doesn't have a bad slant on it, but that doesn't make it appropriate to post, and that doesn't mean it will stay that way. The American civil war were America's darkest hours. while I myself am not offended by it, I think that it is immature to make jokes about it and inconsiderate towards everyone who was involved in the war. You really gotta lighten up. You're somehow trying to say people are making jokes about the civil war just because they said north and south, which the trees LITERALLY are of each other. And if you're also dense enough to say that the civil war was America's darkest hour, you clearly don't know your American history. *coughSMALLPOXBLANKETSTONATIVEAMERICANScough* American's darkest hour? Heheh... I woulda guessed the invention of television.
  20. *points cospicuously at sig* The Barrows aren't hard in any way, period. This is a nice story I guess, it could do with some revising (the level of coherency wasn't great) and the story wasn't bad, nothing big though. Oh, and wrong forum. Barrows expert has NOTHING to do with how hard it is. There are countless strategies, tricks, alternatives, secrets, and such. Being an expert just implies mastery of many of these such ideas. For example: Being able to instantly tell what room you are in after only a second after entering. The speed in which you can defeat all the brothers. The memorization of each puzzle and solution. Knowing the locations of every safespot, from which rocks can be hidden behind, at what angle/direction, and ending with the invisible ladder spots, and being able to use them effectively. Using the shortest/most efficient way to reach the barrows. Yes, some of these are easy enough you can learn them merely by following others instructions. But no first-timer will be able to effectively utilize the swamp shortcut to the boat. I tried it myself, it's inefficient the first one or two tries. Safespots are impossibly difficult to those who don't understand how monsters move and haven't practiced with the various rocks/skeletons. There is DEFINITELY such thing as a barrows expert. (And I'm far from being it... I still can't figure out how barrow drops really work... and I'm a bit sick of rumours atm.)
  21. Wow I've never knew Kebabs were actually somewhat like the ones we get in RS... I thought RS graphics were just unacceptably poor lol. Guess it means RS graphics are more accurate than we believe...
  22. Would probably be dead from boredom. I loved Blizzard until they created WoW. So now I'm refusing to play WoW or any other monthly payment game from Blizzard. I had a couple friends before I moved to Washington, but now I'm mostly alone. I don't have many friends and I don't really feel comfortable among my classmates. Maybe I'd be playing starwars battlefront like my little brother.
  23. I dunno, IMO it's just a few players breathing life into this game. Maybe it's kind of childish, but it's better than players never talking except to trade or to scam...
  24. A billion gold coins takes up the same space as a butter knife, and adds less weight as well.
  25. Level: 15... give or take a couple. Amount: 10k How: Fished lobsters/picked up tuna that people left, sold at general store, repeat. Result: Bought a Blk Square for 10k.
