I really think you should be able to PM people without adding them to your list, by right clicking their name when they pm you. Anyway, I'm in a similiar kind of situation, I'm f2p now because I quit RS (for the most part) but everytime I go back on to talk to my friends, if I want to add somebody for whatever reason I can't as f2p only gets 100 slots on friends. It's nice always nice to know people want to talk to you though :D

It's really annoying when you say to somebody: "We could meet at cw or al kharid." And it comes out as: "We could meet at cw ***** kharid." I used to use the ring of duelling a lot for buisness transactions.

I agree with what your doing, I paid about four million for my whip way back, it's was well worth it, it would definatly have been worth it for 5. I think it's such a shame that the price has dropped so much, it's a real shame to all those people that raised slayer, I think they need to introduce a decent item worth a fair amount that's only dropped by something like dark beasts.

Hate to be harsh, but you went into the wilderness knowing you could get pk'ed, and you took 500k's worth of stuff with you. I don't see why it's come as such a shock to you, just pick flax for a while or something.

Personally I'm shocked at some of the posts I've read. You say how selfish it is that he's done this to his family, yet from the posts I have read (page 1 and 7) I havn't heard anybody say anything about what the family must be going through. I assume he was depressed and very sad, fortunatly for me I've never been sad enough to be suicidal, not even close but I can only think that when you do, you don't think of other people you just want everything to stop, at the time it must seem like the perfect solution. That said, I hope his family can recover from this tradegy, and I hope the person that stabbed him in the back feels very very guilty for what he's done.

When was that introduced? Anyway, back on topic. Being able to turn any bones into peaches is better than nothing, although i can understand it may be annoying that you paid for it, try killing monsters that are weak and drop normal bones nearby perhaps when you need food.

Emo = Emotional Like people have said, at least it isn't a temp ban or a perm ban. Under the circumstances, the recent autoing boom, I think you have to understand jagex can't investigate every report thourghly, and at a rough glance, at what is probally a zero tolerance period it would look like you may have been impersonating a member of jagex staff. All you can do is send in a appeal explaining it to jagex, hope they have enough time to read it and lift the mark. But at least it is only a black mark, and right now, jagex is banning a lot of people outright black marks or no black marks.

You havn't visited the champions guild's shop recently then? I think when you pass through the shantay pass, you should just be handed the disclaimer and told you may want to read it then let through. You could read the disclaimer (like you read a book in rs) and it would say what the guard normally says.

It would make sense, if your carrying more items you have a larger bulk, so things like crawling, jumping etc could possibly be harder. It's an intresting theory, and one I havn't heard before, I'll be intrested in any re[bleep]s people come with.

A lot of people seem to misunderstand, I'm not quitting because I lost the item, an hour ago I didn't even have it, and I lost nothing to get it. I'm quitting because I feel I've had a good run with Runescape but it's not the game it used to be, to me at least. I had a lot of friends over the years in Runescape, but most of them I lost contact with, I gave all my stuff to my main, three best friends, because I know they'll enjoy it the most. I'll look through my bank and see if I can donate anything to TET. Anyway, thanks for all the comments.

Earlier today, I got Guthan's spear from the barrows, great, I was overjoyed, I'd been hoping for one, with this I was going to buy ahrims and get my range up by buying a cannon, and I was going to treat some of my friends. So, after half an hour I find a buyer for 6.1 million gp, he agrees to come to my world, I get a offer over pm offering 6.2 million, but I'd agreed to sell for 6.1, so I went on with the original deal, the next 5 minutes were a blur, but somehow, he had managed to get my spear with my giving him nothing, I don't know if I was stupid to fall for whatever trick it is, but I fell for it. Too busy thinking of what I could do I suppose. Now, at this point, I want to point out, I'm not begging. I was fairly rich I had a full set of guthans and veracs, I was well off. Anyway, I begged this person for 5 minutes, but no, he would do me no favours, even though i had done him one, and a huge one as well, but unintentionally. It was at this point I realised, the RS community has truly and utterly gone to, well I can't say that. I decided to quit then and there, I told my friends, the three that were most important to me. They were pretty upset to say the least, but I teleported to lumbridge to fix up my barrows pieces and then back to them to give them everything of worth in my bank, I'll still come on occasionally, to see them, and remember the good days of RS. I have enjoyed playing runescape, and had a good run. But most of all, the main purpose of this thread is to thank you, the tip it community. For the time I've been a member, I've learned so much more, some of you, the majority in fact are great people. You remind me of what runescape used to be like, it's just a shame runescape has become what it is now. I've probally rambled on for far too long, and I assume not many of you remembered my name, or will but to me, making this post, and saying these things is important. Anyway, goodbye everybody, I might still come on here, and I'll definatly be visiting runescape occasionally.

But how long will it take the autoers creating another version that can get round it? So far they've gotten past random events and mods, Jagex is doing a great job so far, but I don't think they can take them all out. As for the comment earlier, asking why people pay for members so they can auto, basically, they money they get from selling the stuff they auto fish or cut or whatever, they then sell on Ebay, they make a fair bit of cash but it really is amazingly sad to do that in my opinion.

For sets: Veracs for pvp Guthans for general monster slaying Dharok's for training (dharoking) For just weapons: Whip for melee Probally master wand for magic Karils xbow for ranged And dds for it's special.

You realise to utilise dharoks set effect you have to be below something like 15% hp. I personally have guthans and veracs. Veracs is probally the best for pvp, it can hit through armour and prayer OCCASIONALLY. I would not say it was overpowered. Guthans set effect lets you steal hp from your enemy occasionally, so great, infinite food you might say, but unlike food you are healed randomly, and the amount you heal can be 0 if you hit a 0. I would say neither is overpriced or underpriced, dragon armour is extremely expensive but most of that cost is the chain, which is a status symbol, dragon isn't worth anything like the price for what it actually is, just like p hats. But people are willing to pay the price because they want to show their wealth.
