  1. So, we got some snow last night. Not a whole lot... Just barely enough to cover the grass in the yard... The rest of the winter storm was mainly ice. The roads are pretty bad here. This morning when I realized that it had snowed, I jumped out of bed, grabbed my camera and went outside in the the 15 degree weather to get a few quick pictures of the snow. :D And I have decided that I will share these pictures with you guys. And, here are a few fall pictures I took some months ago. :D

It's never really good to post your first attempt. You may be quite proud, but some people will be upfront and say they don't think it looks good and it could discourage you from wanting to continue. The picture looks very flat, and in all honesty, it looks quite rushed. The clothes need to take on the shape of the body under them. You should learn a bit about symmetry and proportion. Watch the way peoples' clothes move as they move. This will help you to better learn how to visualize and draw the folds in clothing, and make it look more realistic. Also pay attention to the shadows (no matter how big or small) the clothes make as they fold. The guy's head is much too big for his body, while his feet are quite small. His hands don't look like hands at all. I will admit that I find hands quite hard to draw, since they have so many ways they can move. But, practice makes perfect. It looks like you scanned a drawing and colored it. While there is nothing wrong with that, the lines that you did not outline are too light and make too large of a contrast with the other lines in the drawing. This makes it look sloppy. Take some time and define some lines you think need emphasis. Your coloring job is a bit sloppy as well. There is quite a bit of white space that needs accounting for. If you want to keep the bunny ears, try making them a different color other than the EXACT same shade of black you used to make the robe and cape. His cape could also use some more length and definately some more motion since it looks as though he is moving toward the viewer. The road he is moving on looks good. It looks like you have an ok sense of depth, but the rest of the background, could use a little more time. This is a good first attempt, and I hope you won't completely give up on drawing and creating art. But, practice, practice, practice! Anyone can draw, anyone can color something, but it takes alot of practice and dedication for your work to truly catch one's eye and stir one's emotions. It's very good to remember that the way you draw something decides the motion in which the viewer's eye will move across your work. Don't be discouraged. Take what people have said about your work into account and use it to improve. The best thing you can do as an artist and even as a person is learn how to take criticism.

  10. Wow... I wish my school would do something like that... The farthest I've ever been on a school trip was... Memphis?
  11. I used to go to a school consisting of nothing but, rich, snobby, stuck-up kids. They never got in trouble for anything because their parents spoiled them and most parents were on the school board and teachers were afraid to punish them for doing anything wrong in class. Since my parents aren't particularly rich, and I don't have the best clothes in the world, and I'm not christian, I got made fun of. Some of the kids even resorted to violence because I was pretty upfront about not being christian. The parents of these children knew what they were doing. They knew how they were treating other kids, but I think they just refused to believe it, thinking that their children were perfect and could never ever do anything wrong. Even when approached with undeniable evidence of their treatment of their classmates, they would simply buy their child's way out of trouble. But, the way their parents have raised them will come back to bite them. They can't always buy their children's way out of trouble.
  12. The scene kids at my school are alright. I know most of them, and they even have little groupies that follow them around, wanting to be like them. SOME of them can be funny sometimes, but for the most part, they're stuck up and think they're cool because they're in crappy bands, or go to the local shows, or are christian.... I usually try to avoid the christian scene kids... But, the main thing I like about my school is, even if there are alot of people who feel such a strong need to fit into some sort of dumb stereotype, (emo, scene, gangsta, goth, goody-two shoes, skank, prep, jock, redneck, stoner) everyone pretty much gets along with each other and tries to respect one another.

  14. Lol. That video was great. "Oh dude... I heart your car. I heart it alot. It is the rock." "Yeah. But, it doesn't rock as hard as the new American Doorknobs Cd." "Yeah. Woot."
  15. I hate people who spray perfume or something in an enclosed space, such as a car, or elevator. :x
  16. I fart on my boyfriend all the time. :D
  17. My boyfriend got me chocolate and he took me out to eat after school. ^_^ It was the best Valentine's Day I've ever had! ^_^
  18. Friday, we got out of school two hours early because of the snow. Fifth hour, I have study hall, so I spent the last hour or so we had left of school, outside having a snowball fight with my friends. ^_^ It's snowing again right now. I hope we don't have school tomorrow. But, I bet we will. :(
  19. I really really like this. I think the water looks just fine. The only thing I'm really having a problem with is the dragon's body. It's not very defined.

 Someone should make a runescape cake! of the whole runescape map, to scale and add every bit of detail like to every branch and every tree then again this was a bad idea, to begin with I was thinking more along the lines of someone's character... I would be impressed with anyone who could do that.
  21. Harley Davidson shirts from Vegas ftw! :D

That was one of the stupidest movies I've ever seen. The camera work reminded me of my dad trying to film something.
  24. Looking really nice!
