In our countries on the pacific, we are fortifying ready for a Brazilian naval assault. In Britain, the country swarms with patriotic activists and defends its borders. If any of the info above is "wrong", please tell me and we'll work a compromise. The troop numbers especially. Recruitment is stepped up, and we have the arms and armour to equip some 300 million soldiers. All funding is diverted from Space, to the land below, to improve the state of the forces, especially our airforce. I think Sere has more info on the number of our air force.. mmk

Yes, NH is a carry hero, with no ult. Perhaps he's useful in pubstomps, but in any half serious game SOMEONE on the opposing team should get anti-stealth. His first skill really isn't that hard to walk out of, and scouts are generally getting better these days.. Okay, wishful thinking. But still, NH is just as bad, if not worse, than scout. At least scout can really carry.

It's not important - and NH is a solo hero, pretty awful in teamplay, which is the point of hon. Yeah, a lot of people do do that. I've maybe been guilty once or twice, but I think not recently, I hope.

Tubelord, Deadmau5. I think whether or not you consider a band name stupid is very much to do with your personality. Some people might find "Oingo Boingo" stupid, but it fits with the music, I guess. On the subject of song names, Reuben have some pretty damn good ones - don't know if it's been brought up before. Example "Deadly lethal ninja assassin", or "Crushed under the weight of enormous [cabbage]."

Most people I know who have Garry's mod enjoy it, but it's not something they do for hours. However, I really recommend you consider buying the orange box. TF2, HL2+ep1+ep2+portal... What more do you want, really?

Personally I adore hon, but it has the worst community in the world, RS doesn't come close - so I joined a clan for more civilized games. Best decision ever! EU servers are a bit borked at the moment, so I haven't been playing recently, but the odd pubstomp AP where I instapick tempest is truly hilarious..

Ross asked for someone to act as a war judge, it was ignored. None of us were against a real war, we were against Dusty trying to get a default win. I haven't commented on this anti-war-league-thing, but I don't think it makes the most sense in the world. I never expected to take Russia in a bloodless diplomatical triumph.

Is Sere's ONLY post about moving the military away from it's fortifications, as he is saying backing up MY post, then we are safe to assume the soldiers are moving from the Asian peninsula. Fact is, you still need to fight through the Navy in the English channel/surrounding waters.

No, that was never said. Troops were moved from the Asian continent, not from Britain.

Don't know if I'm late here, but unless you love spending hours alone playing singleplayer, I do not recommend MW2. It's such a shambles, no dedi servers, no clan content, an awful let down. Instead, I definitely recommend Shattered Horizon. That game is the spark that's made me spend £750 on a new computer. I'm so excited!

I am not looking for the tech I am taking the space station. Isnt that a bit extreme of you to take both siberia and the resources in space? In other news the massive land based ion cannons have been primed on all planets. I am starting the construction of massive Farm ships and space depots. I'm not 'invading' his space stuff, I just don't intend to let anyone else do it either. Also, I've "claimed" Russia, I haven't "taken" Siberia. Nothing is finalised until 24 hours have passed, imo, which is ample time for any resistance to be posted yet short enough for the game to progress. Troops in Africa are moving into Ethiopia as well.

Birthright will fire on anyone making any movement on Russian space tech.

Britannian troops are moving into Russia through siberia, employing blitzkrieg tactics to assert control of East Russia. Our space fleet is protecting the skies, with Birthright priming lasers and stuff to prepare for resistance in whatever form. The navy is being mobilised and prepared to respond immediately to any threats. Airforce too is being mobilised, providing support for our troops as they make their way through Russia.

Last I heard, Reptile was playing demo, but fair point. We do have our powerhouses in EU, people like Fragga, and I guess they take a lot of the weight off the demos soldiers. Baalboy, you want to be sure that your new gfx card is compatible with your current mobo/processor. From a quick look, that seems fine, though not sure if you're skimping on the /quality/ of the gfx card or just getting a good deal. (Bill's hat!)

The only reason demoman is harder in 6v6 is because there is more riding on him. A good demoman can make or break a team - I play demo for my clan, and more often than not this rule is true: If I play well, we win, if I don't, we lose. I don't know much about the American scene, but players from the Eu like Byte can carry teams as a demoman. Anyway, halloween update was awesome. I'm COACH. It's fun taunting people who can't dominate me. The mechanics of the update map should be used on some others, just because they're so funny.

Er, the world map is on the first post. In the hide tag where it says "maps", and then "world".. We are, as you've probably seen, on a short hiatus or something while we try to iron out the rules. If you keep an eye on the thread, maybe you'd like to join in once that's finished - or you can offer your input now, if you choose. The idea is.. you take a civ - it's not important which - plonk it on the map, make a roster, hometown, blahblah, and then just.. play. :P

It's absolutely essential that we iron out some rules now. Factbook wise, I see no reason why it can't be just kept in the OP/your first post in the topic. I agree that how many threads you've proposed is far too many Granzi, despite agreeing that it's best if everything IS separated like that - but it's too much to ask for some of the more casual players, even though you suggest freeing up the "time" mechanic. Rpg, please read Paul's suggestion for trading, it's a much more interesting system that - once developed to include things like weapons, will be an exciting aspect of gameplay, in my opinion.
