RuneVillage - Removed as gold status because owner is a sex offender
Because some acts humans commit are truly sickening, leading to people questioning if they deserve the title of human. I'm not sure it's a title you earn or deserve, I think it's something you are or arnt. Obviously I get your point though. You can't really blame people if they call these people "sickening" or "monsters" after all what should be our trusted legal system has decided they committed these crimes and they trust that. Personally, I keep an open mind because it wouldn't be the first case where the legal system was wrong. In this case he admits it, and uses excuses it was recently legal & changed, and tries to say teenagers like that makes it better, a thirteen year old is a teen.. Just because it was previously legal at the time of committing the offence, does not mean it's right. Maybe the law wasn't in place because it hadnt been thought of.

RuneVillage - Removed as gold status because owner is a sex offender
That law still exists in the UK, it's just almost never used unless the kid is in serious danger, in which case the police and social services would have a reason to get involved anyway. I'd agree if you'd have said the enforcement of that law is stupid and always has been. No I'm pretty sure I am correct, it's only if the person over 18 is in a position of trust. It's pretty significantly difference, and nothing like the law in the US.

RuneVillage - Removed as gold status because owner is a sex offender
Judging by the news article that cites him as being 62 and the conviction being 1995 we are talking about someone in his 40s having dealings in child pornography. So not exactly just a case of small age gap of 2 or so years that spans age of consent boundaries yet both parties are of simialr age. I don't know the details in full, he seems to say a few pictures of teenagers & go on about how it was legal at some point which is fair enough, but to Jagex a UK company indecent pictures of underage people's are & never have been legal & I don't think he would be allowed to run a website which has a large childbase in the UK if he is listed as a sex offender. Jagex are right in my opinion. If he is a changed person good for him, but Jagex are right to distance themselves especially with there game herotopia & other future releases aimed at children. That 16-18 law in the US is stupid always has been imo.

500 Vyrewatch Cremations Completed!
O.0 Are you saying the damage increases with Blisterwood weapons when you cremate 500 LatinII?! Nice one Blutters. Blutters, the book signals that you've reached 500 correct?
-
Managing Miscellania - Most Profitable Setup?
Correct. That 9 wood thing doesn't matter if you don't collect like once every 7 days. And it doesn't matter about your happiness %. It could drop to 1% and not matter. As long as you have the money in the coffers (so that it withdraws 75k daily) and get your happiness back to 100% BEFORE YOU COLLECT YOUR [cabbage] you'll get the same amount of resources as if you raised the % every day. And profit is 10 wood 5 coal/herbs. (Pick one, they are close enough that the difference doesn't matter.) So your saying you can leave it for two weeks and then just get 100% approval rating, and it makes no difference? I thought you had to keep it at 100% daily.. What's the difference between collecting once a week and once a month?? or once every two months?

ConsoleScape
I'm certain that's wrong. Before the update the population was 180k. The only time the population rocketed close to the before-update population was during the previous weeks. The after-update population certainly never exceeded the before-update numbers when the console build changes. Can't use that line of reasoning now, a lot of them are using bots for when they're away. If this were the trade limit era you'd see the current 176k right now down to 80k average at this hour. Blah, so I was over by 40k and he was still under by 100 to 110k, proving my point he was talking cabbage, and there was no major drop in player number on that graph around the time on the update that day. And when you say 80k you mean 180k right, because there are over 180k people on-line, which will steadily rise over the next few hours. Also my argument of school starting is also shown on your graph, if you look at the dates between the start of the summer holidays and the end of August to now, it shows RS ins't peeking over 190k for over 6 days now, and it never was that slow for over 4 days through June to mid August.

ConsoleScape
Right... a game played by, even at your questionable estimations, hundreds of thousands of people can really provide some meaningful assistance to a company whose current home console has sold well over eighty million units, to the point where it might just save them from 'flopping'. It's not a topic, it's just laughable you would honestly even think that any of the three major companies would care that much about getting Jagex on board. I meant that fact it would have opened the way for PC MMO's to be released to Consoles, assistance in being know as a innovative company that was the first to bring interaction between PC and Console. It's not all about profits. I never said Nintendo were flopping, just that them opening their player-base to MMO's and interaction with PC users via their console, I wasn't just referring to RuneScape but the wider picture that if Jagex and Nintendo did it a whole host of other company's would eventually do it to, know what your replying to before you try to belittle me troll. "it's just laughable" how arrogant some people can be, before you quote me again try not to be such an ass, I'm not always right and nor are you no need to get rude or nasty about it though. Well 40mins after the update I saw 220k people online. So not sure what page you were looking at, if it was immediately after the update I couldn't log in for the first seven minutes of the update nor could many others. Also many people are back to school/collage now so it's not going to be as high as it has been in the mornings.

Vyrewatch corpses
Why bother making parts of the game realistic & others not like the set of stairs in Draynor bank that go into a roof... Oh well, just have to not bank to many different types.

Strange he shouts Human! And it closes screen everytime for me. I'll double check that it still works for me, but it definitely did just a few hours ago. I'm not trying to discredit you, just that was my experience. I also had my equipment screen open & changed from the outfit top to BCP & it got closed due to them shouting "Human!" would be nice if after the quest the amulet was somehow upgraded so we didn't need the uniform.

Best monsters to kill for herbs?
That can be true, early weekdays (BST) I always find an empty one, depends on time I guess. But it shouldn't be to hard to find an empty world.

That's pretty cool, the quest was fun & the graphics are amazing! If you can't or don't use max detail you're truly missing out.

ConsoleScape
If you don't understand what or who your quoting don't quote it, anyone can read wiki & see it came from small origins. I was just stating that players have always doomsayered the game, the 2004 influx of mini-clip players was a time when the game grew exponatually yet people said the game degraded & would be "ruined" I am fully open to the fact more and more players are saying it this time round, but I think that's because it's a growing trend rather than because it's true. And to say the player base is in decline right now, well it's up from 170k players since free trade/Wildy was added back the average is now more around 240k. I don't think the number of players is in a unusual decline right now, it's normal. People will always claim it's coming to an end, always say it's gone downhill. --- Back to console, I think they way the console makers refuse to allow interaction between consoles of competitors means it's a one console maker takes on the game or none. Apparently they are open to interaction with PC users just not competing consoles. Could Nintendo come out in top by being the first, it could be a great moment for them to get back on top, or just be a flop, it's a rather interesting topic!

You can switch from normals to curses there?! Didn't appear to be able to.

The skill has to be over 60 for reward. I tried it on my Dungeoneering (lvl 30) & it said it needed to be at least level 60.

Their main focus (alongside clans) is fansites, yet they seem to be doing everything possible to kill them at the moment! Brining everything in house.. Lets see the detail of the guide before we jump the gun, but yeah not nice move..

ConsoleScape
legit players are outnumbered by at least 5-1. Wow so for every 400 players there are 1600 bots. (80% bot in game) What people don't take into account is that normal players don't sit on-line for long and are spread out with different time zones, bots can be on-line 24hrs a day, certainly on-line longer than the average player. This gives the appearance that their are more bots than players, what I base my 30-40% on is if you take every single paying member account in game (even non-members), I believe it's under 30% of those accounts that bot, possibly 40% at the highest if you include f2p. If the average player played for 5 hours & the average bot played for 15 hours that would give the appearance of a 4 to 1 ratio, that is what no one takes into account, 80% bot ratio that you think is insane surely you see that. Also just to add on the RuneScape declining topic, according to the "community" it's been declining since, well 2001 when I started. I'm just basing my veiws on almost 10 years of the game not shutting down or "going to [cabbage]" like everyones always said. I will admit the community of RuneScape has changed, it's grown and declined over the years, at the moment the community is certainly in an uproar.

Why Herbs are falling?!
I started reading thinking, what a jerk no need to be so nasty about it, then at the end you get nicer and end with a smile. Haha love it! This is what I was trying to say.

I honestly can't see any major dip in players infect when free trade was removed I personally noticed 150,000 to 170,000 people online (just what I remember) now it's more like 200,000 to 250,000. And I strongly contest that 90% are bots personally feel it's 30-40% at most especially in percentage of paying members. From 2007 to now, I've seen sizeable change in fansite forum activity but I put this down to Jagex's updates to knowledge base & other ingame clan/community features rather than as a sign of the games decline. Wish I had statistics to throw about but I don't just my personal thoughts. Edit: I noticed the mistake, infect I was trying to put an Irish twang to it, damn you autocorrect!

Where is this proof it's declining? I hear this time & time again but never any proof.

Why Herbs are falling?!
And in the first day of the weekend, you'd be surprised how many don't realise till it actually happens.

Why Herbs are falling?!
Maybe the bots had the same idea on a bigger scale, seems loads of people have hoarded stocks of stuff hoping to make profit. It was only a matter of time before this caught on. Maybe there is much more supply than there is demand at the moment, wait it out & see or sell now. Dont know why this is a shock to anyone, normally with merchanting if it seems to good to be true, it is. People tend to pick up on these ideas to late, and this happens, you're probably one of thousands that where waiting for this chance to make a profit.
