No I doubt it's the net, but yeah RS is little strange lately. What you could try is ruining the client in minimum setting on FULL SCREEN mode in a very low resolution. Like 800 x 600 see if it's playable. Then work your way up to a bare able resolution where it's still playable.

You'll have to lower the setting's, on paper that's enough to run RuneScape just fine, but we all know since the Bot Nuke large changes have been made to how RuneScape runs. It's now, slower, more lagging & uses more resources than before. The FPS can be all over the place depending on hardwear. Ive seen a steady 24fps on one of my computers when it ran a solid 50fps before the Nuke, and still runs Crysis with Max settings and graphics pack installed at a steady 60fps. The game is kinda messed up in that way. I run a decent 48 - 50fps on my system but it's not solid 50 like it once was, I have two processors, I don't mean cores I have 12 of those total I actually have 2 processors each with 6 cores at 4.3ghz (OC), 12GB of DDR3 top of the line ram, and 2 580 graphics cards with 1536MB GDDR5 in SLI & I can't get a solid 50fps I used to. RuneScapes using a lot more these days. They need to address these issues, are you using the RS client?

RS used to be max of 50fps, did something change? My bad, it's a typo of a misthought. 50FPS all the way. Probably because 60FPS is more standard, I thought I'd check I haven't really been around much. Thought they might have changed it.

As to no go off-topic Fresi you should PM me your specs or some links to your comp. I'm a diehard PC builder myself. I'm on my phone at the moment, pretty sure my sig has link to some Facebook pics on my comp. But I have noticed a performance change on my laptop just to add, but no problems desktop-side. I can still run full setting on my old lappy, but it's not as smooth as it once was before the Bot Nuke.

Great news, to put a downer on it. All the cheats are still in game, with billions of GP, 99's running around making out they are the best. Some admit it, some deny it & try to blend in. Jagex got soft on the players, but T-Bagged the cause.

It was getting hard for me to play once due to RSI, I changed my mouse after suffering for months and I've never had it since, sometimes your hand not being supported correctly causes it. I had a Razor at the time, it was very slim, I changed to a Roccat Kone which is much wider and instantly noticed a difference.

Player v Environment, but I think PvM is equally correct. PvM is just newer, created from people not knowing that PvE was the correct term, slang of the gaming slang if you will. I don't really feel like there's a "correct" term. Both describe the activity rather accurately and ultimately the function of the term is just to differentiate from PVP scenarios. Well if you where talking from a game design point of view it's officially PvE, always has been its an original technical term, unlike PvM which is slang. "Monsters" are part of the game environment, plus Varrock guards aren't "monsters".

The RS community has become so celebrity orientated it's pathetic! Half of the RuneFest community was trying to achive "smiles", I think it's great this guys work is being supported by Jagex. Worth deleting your cache, normally found at Local Disk (C:) in windows. Delete folders named .jagex_cache_32 &/or .jagex_cache_33 folders. Worked for some in my clan others it didn't.
