Why are there yew trees in F2P?
They already have macros out for all of those. And if they get everything profitable removed from f2p, then they'll just move to p2p, which has even better spots for these. Seers' Village for coal, and Catherby for lobs and swordies.

Why are there yew trees in F2P?
He has already stated that that's a good idea to him. What he DOESN'T realize is that if you remove everything of value from f2p, then not only does Jagex lose a great deal of potential members, but also has all those macroers (which take up a vast majority of the ones who do this) move to members, which would piss off a good deal of current members on 2 fronts; more difficulty getting what they need and the loss of their friends who can't pay for members. But, alas, he's not smart enough to realize that. Ah, well, can't expect everyone to meet the age requirement to play runescape (13+).

The Alchemist from the Other Side ¢¢âš¬¢â¬ New Aquroya (FMA Based)
*Sniffs the air 5 hours later* I think there's something else in the air as well ;) This is quite easily one of the best stories I have ever read that wasn't in book form or involved "adult" themes. 10/10 =D> =D>

Favourite game other than Runescape
Final Fantasy 12. It is the single most awesome 1 person game I have ever played.

New skill- Bard/Musical (Pictures soon)
This idea has massive potential, but the way it's set up right now is, for lack of a better term, underwhelming. Sorry, it's just not too good.

Sea Trouble
If what I said didn't cover it well enough, what Imcleith said should. Just close this before we get a flame war going. :wall:

Sea Trouble
Aw, for f^&$'s sake, WILL YOU STOP WITH THE PLAGARISM ALREADY?!?!?! :wall: :wall: Stuff like Romeo & Juliet and Robinhood, Jagex can do because it's well past any copyright date. If Jagex were to do ANYTHING like this involving stuff that resembles the Pirates storyline, then they're in for some serious Hell. This sort of thing is gonna be what drives certain elements of players and TB@JT to drink.

Rule-breaker hunters!
NEWSFLASH! That's the whole point!

Impling Update!
Nice ideas! 8/10 for putting thought into the drops. Would some types be found more commonly in certain areas, such as baby nearby Lumbridge and Essence popping up in and nearby the mine and its' entrances, for example?

CUSTOMIZABLE ARMOUR!!!!
Another idea would be to make it easily distinguishable from the trails armor we have now, and to add some things to Tutorial Island. Basically a tutor that informs the player of the more common scams (armor trimming, rare items, etc.) and how to watch for them. Would also be a good oprotunity to inform the player about the "Report Abuse" button. ;) There's only one real question however. Will the changes be cosmetic only, or will it be able to modify the abilities of the equipment? If it's the former, then It won't matter much. If it's the latter, then I can make something to help that, if you wish.

Should you offer 300K for all worlds without auto«rs?
Aside from removing the items from f2p altogether, this is quite easily the WORST macro solution I have ever seen. For macros, this will be an easy thing to circumvent, but for your average player, well, things are a little different. Just who would be wanting to pay 100k to cut logs worth 300 each, 50k just to buy ONE bronze arrow, etc.? Sorry, but this just won't fly. 0/10

ranging
If THOUGHT THROUGH, this could actually be quite good. Bronze-steel arrowmaking never hurt anyone (ranging equivalent to strikes), or at least it shouldn't. :anxious: Keep in mind that I've been member for 2 months in the past, so I have paid my dues. Lets see how long it takes a certain element of the community to have a sh** fit over this idea.

ARG!!! CREATURE OF FENKENSTRAIN GLITCH!!!
What you should have done when this first happened; send a bug report! Maybe since you lost your stuff to a glitch, it'll be returned. One can only hope and  .

F2P has to suggest!
Yeah, I would like to be able to post on the RSOF, but there's always the problem of spamming. They get more than enough as-is! I think it would be a better idea for Jagex to hire some people whose express duty is to scout the fan sites for good ideas, and to make official replies. This will be a better way to do things than what we have now, and we won't really have to change much. What do you think?

Why are there yew trees in F2P?
I can post this on the Jagex boards, but since f2p can't post there, the discussion may be biased. There is also the problem we all know exists on Jagex forums - posts scoll off quickly. This is not a matter of victory or defeat. My idea is a great idea that rubs the gold farming industry the wrong way. This notion of f2p entitlement to a massive stream of wealth simply has to turn around. Since when did you worry about things being biased? Or is it that you know that Jagex will get bombarded with calls for the topic's locking that you're so worried? It isn't too hard to keep a topic alive, you just need to check up on it. Also, "massive stream of wealth" isn't exactly what I'd call it. Practically the only ones with any real money that's f2p now has either been members previously or is EXTREMELY dedicated (not counting macros and the like). Any and all wealth obtained on f2p is most likely hard-earned, in comparison to being able to make over 100k/hr at less than 20 crafting on members.

Stop Gem Cutting Scammers
Yeah, this can be a good idea. In all honesty, this should have been done for ALL skills from the start! But, hey, what can you do? 7/10, would get a 10/10 if you elaborated more on it.

!I!rage!I!
This has some potential, but as-is it's severely lacking. Don't you think it would make things overpowered for melee? I'd post a revised version, but I'll do that on my own. 3/10

Why are there yew trees in F2P?
Hey kafei, I got a proposition for you. Why don't you post this suggestion in the RSOF and give us the quickfind code? If things go well over there, then I'll keep quiet. BUT, if it turns out to be fairly similar to the topic here, you'll admit defeat. Deal? Unless if you're f2p yourself, then we won't be able to do this anyway.

My Mining/Woodcutting/Fishing suggestion!
This might actually work! Now why didn't I think of it? :-k Anyway, I support!

Why are there yew trees in F2P?
If he hasn't by now, he likely won't EVER. The best thing that could be done is likely to lock this flame-bait before something's said that can't be un-said.

~~*New Age Magic*~~
An idea would be to allow the casting of the lower-grade spells as well, but at a reduced cost (since you have mastered it). You could also give some player support spells, such as percentage healing spells (with a timer between uses, kind of like home tele), barrier spells (reduced damage, recoil, among other goodies  ), and possibly even the ability to temprarily bring out a monster to help you out! With some thought, this can be a good idea! And, technically, the current standard mage book IS "New Age" :-w

Why are there yew trees in F2P?
Kicking rulebreakers isn't the problem. If you will actually use your head, then you'd know this. For just kicking rulebreakers to drop the number down drastically enough to seriously damage the game's image the ammount would have to be at least 35%. And like I said; if a corporation does something to make over a third of their customers, which is what may very well happen (or at least appear to, thanks to the player counter), then it becomes extremely difficult to pull back up from that dive, especially for a MMO. Anyone who has taken an economics class &/or has some common sense w/ an intellect higher than an 8 year old spoiled brat should be able to figure this out.

Why are there yew trees in F2P?
While you might have a point in the ad-blocking software, keep one thing in mind. Remember that little thing saying "There are *insert random number* people playing!" at the top of the homepage for Runescape? What would some new dude to runescape say if he looked at the site one day, and the next the number of people playing dropped by over 50%? Most would probably think that this game isn't as good as they thought. Also, it's just common sense that at least some members stay that way so they can brag to their f2p friends about all that they have. If most f2pers were to quit, then a proportional number of members would become bored with the game, and stop playing. Part of the draw of all MMO's is the community aspect, and F2P is at least 50% of it, if you take out people with multiple accounts (not just bots and f2p only). Basically, if a good deal of people didn't have friends here, they would have quit a LONG time ago. Get the picture now, Sherlock?

Why are there yew trees in F2P?
While you do have a point with the "Argumentum ad Populum" arguement, keep one thing in mind. Since Jagex is a corporation, they are mostly in it to stay alive, and keep the revenue flowing. Since the majority of players, if we take this topic as a representation, think that doing this would be a fatal mistake, Jagex will listen to them. If the majority of players leave, they lose the majority of their revenue, which will quite simply lay Jagex to rest. They now this, the majority of players know this, and if I'm right, you know this. You seem to want Runescape to die, for whatever odd reason. My guess is that you think that *Insert random MMO game here* is the only one that deserves to be around, and have grown bored with ours. If you wish to prove me wrong, then please, proceed. :

Dragons in F2p
Ideally, f2p would get this whenever members gets a dragon-related addition. And to Sinless Hero, if f2p were to be a PROPER demo, it would have to be equal to a certain percentage of members content. Right now, I'd wager a guess at the current percentage being around 5% overall, probably less. The ideal "demo" percentage would be 20-30%. Right now, this would be a bit MUCH to ask, but over time, we could do this.
