New F2P quest [Quest of the Champions]
Keep in mind this is first and foremost a f2p quest. Of course it's gonna be easy for a mem. But you do have a point with the story part of it.

Good minigame idea + Good way to use Prifddinas
This could work. Ideally, there'd be more arenas for this sort of thing with varying qualities (size, obstacles, traps, locals, etc.). Possibly some differing game types (time limit where team w/ most kills wins, Domination, etc.). If you want, I can try and draw up some (crude) blueprints for some areas.

New F2P quest [Quest of the Champions]
Not bad. Will most likely give all f2pers under 90+ headaches, but we need some difficult quests. Wouldn't give most members much trouble though. I think the reward's good enough. Maybe have a mini-Fight Caves type minigame open when the quest's done? Should give f2pers a good taste of members stuff, possibly enough to make them get mem. 7/10, 9/10 if you add my idea and make it good. \

Would you ever get a Tattoo?
I wanna get a tattoo. I just need to find the right one. I want something I'll be proud of, not just something that looks cool.

RuneScape. A whole new dimension, a whole new world.
I would honestly not mind this in rs3. It isn't possible in java though, which is a bummer. I'm currently working on a topic about rs3, so keep a look out for it. This is gonna be one of the first things I address! \

What are you afraid of? (That's not an object)
In all honesty, the only thing I'm truly afraid of is myself. On the whole, I'm a good guy, but when someone does something specific................ well, you get the idea. I have no real limits to what I'll do in that state, and that scares the Hell out of me. To put things into perspective, listen to the song "Animal I Have Become" by Three Days Grace. That sums things up nicely.

Teen boys hit home run with topless next-door neighbor
Honestly, from the first dude's reaction and the columnist's response, I'd say they're both mad that the boys aren't gay like they seem to be. I'd be more worried if they DIDN'T want to put the lotion on her! That sort of thing's normal for a 14 year old dude. Also, anyone who provides the "gender switch" argument is obviously either too immature or too senile (as in the attitudes) to know better. Nuff said?

What's YOUR dreamcar?
Hey Jaz, I got a proposition for you. You know the M-400 that I posted a couple days ago? Modify that to a one-seater and load up most of the other possible weight it can carry with weaponry. A chaingun on the sides, rockets on the wings, and a verifiable laser cannon (they're working on one as we speak, should be functional by 2013 my guess in tank/aircraft size, which this thing would fall under). Basically, a flying Army-killer. The military would ADORE that thing.
-
What's YOUR dreamcar?
Yeah, gas mileage is a real car-killer lately. Another reason why I like mine; Not only does it easily get over 20 mpg, it makes a Hummer look like little Suzie's tricycle. The first thing that came to mind when I saw it, "They gone and made the Banshee a real-life vehicle!" The military would pay top-dollar for this thing, even without any weapon additions! A bigger model could act as a flying ER, with the possible room, or a flying tank. The possibilities are almost endless!

What's YOUR dreamcar?
Most of those cars look cool. I recognize one of them as the car from "Back to the Future" even. B) But to me, mine is still the coolest. Wanna know why? It's almost the only car ever that putting a jet engine on it would actually lower it's top speed. Here's a link to the specific car and it's specifications. http://www.moller.com/newm.htm The pics are on the right.
-
What's YOUR dreamcar?
It looks cool, but mine has 2 major advantages over that which are (as far as I know) indomitable. 1; mine flies. 2; mine is American made. For someone like me (a person who likes the air almost as much as his country (not including present management)), those 2 are absolute. Oh, and before I forget, mine also runs on everything from standard fuel to pure ethanol to diesel. Speaking of which, it commonly gets over 20 miles per gallon on regular fuel.
-
What's YOUR dreamcar?
I know what mine is, that's for sure. It isn't the Ferrari, it isn't the Lambo, it isn't even a NASCAR-approved and tested sports vehicle. What it is, however, will blow your minds. The name: the M400 Skycar. Probably have no idea what the hell that is, do you? Look at the link below. It will melt your brain out of your ears. http://www.moller.com/

combat Reformation (big post) --- discussion
If you can't stake in the world-wide duels, then that means the Duel Arena isn't completely useless. O:) (bows in front of the masses of clapping duelers with tons of duel rings for that purpose) :-w I was just pointing out the reasons it would take so long, and some modifications. I think these would make things interesting as well. The only problem would be if they outstrip the current specs for weapons. Either way, this would definitely make the whole combat a ton less about "point, click, wait 30 seconds, eat occasionally" like it is now. Maybe have monsters have *sensible* skills of their own, like a lesser being able to trip their target with that long tail of theirs (target's agility and armor affects the effectiveness). I'll leave Jagex to thinking of interesting skills for others. There's DEFINITELY some room for intriguing abilities for the large majority of monsters.

The Gaalsien & Smokeeagle Saga
That was ............... weird. Like a Monty Python episode based in RuneScape. I'll give you points for making me laugh my [wagon] off, though!

combat Reformation (big post) --- discussion
There's potential out the wazoo here, but it's SORELY mis-used. The pvp ideas are good base foundations, but you'll need a great deal more elaboration on them to be even considered. The dueling worldwide would be ok, but with some modifications. You can't stake in these duels, and the loser respawns right at that spot where he died, with no sending to the respawn point for him. To be fair, your stats will be regenerated when you initiate a duel, but they will lower to what they were when the fight started afterwards. The ideas and concept quest for the higher end equipment is pretty good, but I think that all the running around needed to even use them will pretty much kill it. Seriously, do you even know what magic is??? My textbook definition (in dictionary speak) is this. -------------Magic: the use or manipulation of forces in naturally occurring or artificial objects or living things to affect something, such as repairing the target, causing damage, or modifying its abilities, most commonly with the use of incantations, and less commonly with rituals and the mixture of different items of mystical properties In runescape terms, you need runes to cast spells (magic, look 1 paragraph up). Pretty much anything using runes would be called magic in this game. What you are really suggesting is skills, like a spinning slam with crushing weapons or a wide spread shot with the bow (random things I thought up). In order for things like this to enter this particular game, you'll need to introduce at least SOME new npcs to teach the skills, and a massive headache for programming (this would need multiple levels in order to use some skills, like agility, attack, strength, thieving, and probably others), graphics (the animations), and sound crews. Unless if they put in at least a good year and a half, the skills will be pretty bare-bones and/or lackluster. I don't have much problem with healing, but it's more like a new spellbook rather than a new skill. I agree that they need to help clans out, since the majority of people in runescape belong to at least one group (doesn't matter if it's only 3 people or 300), and something oriented for them would get a massive amount of positive feedback, and maybe some new members if done right. I personally like your idea, and think it could make things a whole lot easier. If you would add something where people in the clan would show up on your minimap a different color than other people (blue, for instance), that would be fantastic. That's pretty much all I have to say. Overall, your ideas need some work, but have a decent foundation. 7/10 for effort.

Revive the mage in all of us; Spell Stalves (dont bump)
OK, you get 1/4 of the total exp for the spell needed. If you not only can't get any further exp from them, but also can't use them in the wild, what ones have any real use? That would be the ones using high alchemy, enchants, and superheat item. The others aren't going to be worth a whole lot in usefulness. This is possibly one of the worst thought out (consequence wise) ideas ever. Can you even IMAGINE the havoc that free enchants, alchs, and superheats would cause?

Obsidian War Spear
One of the biggest problems with this is the ability to have an ammo-less ranged weapon. On top of that, it can outdo even the mage bows! This would need to be modified a bit (hampered range and lowered power for throwing strikes) but otherwise is a good weapon. Higher levels would love this thing!

useful new skill
You've been playing Oblivion for too long. A skill like that wouldn't work in runescape. It's just not built for that kind of skill! You get some points for thinking it out a little, though. LOADS better than the majority of people! =D>

Jagex you need to fix thi....well ALOT of stuff!
Another idea would be to have if someone's been doing something consistently for oh, 1 hour, they get a sort of random that they have to enter in a 3 or 4 digit code ala-bank PIN in the upper-left corner. If they ignore it, then they get an increased amount of the annoying randoms (maze, sandwich lady, you get the drill) until they enter in the code. It would be shown just under the number pad thing where they put it in. It would shuffle randomly every 3 minutes or so, and the number pad would shuffle every 30 seconds or when a number's pressed. Sound alright?

More HARD f2p monsters
There's massive potential for a good argument here. But, sadly, yours is lackluster, to be kind. I'm f2p myself, if you must know. And, to reiterate another's point, you shouldn't be training on lessers in the first place! go for ice warriors or something like that, if you need money and exp. Lessers should be only trained on by the higher ups (85+) if you don't want to burn food.

Survivor's Challenge!!!
This would do a ton better as a mini game. It's not the proper thing for a random. As a mini, this thing has potential. 7/10 if you switch it to a mini.
-
Revenge of The Resources!!! And other stuff.
While this is an interesting anti-macroer solution, it wouldn't do too well publicly. This seems like a localized version of the "Tangled Vine" random. It would cause too much problems to be effective enough to outweigh the cons. Sorry.

New monster - Swamp Demon, pretty good worked out
It's got potential, but right now, it doesn't seem to be that good. Do it up like a swampified version of the steel dragon dungeon, with these guys at the end. The drops seem about right, but you should probably throw in variable amounts of mud runes. In between 100-250 should be enough. As/is, the idea gets a 6/10 for effort and ingenuity.

New prayer: Increased drop rate
Unless if the drain rate was somewhere near 1 prayer point/second, this would COMPLETELY annihilate the usefulness of the RoW. Sorry, no support.

Construction - Outdoors
Hotwheels track-type building, you say? Hmm, that could actually work! The top, middle, and bottom floors would have to all count as one room for it to work, or there could be modifications to the room limit. Either way, that could be interesting! Maybe have it where in order to have access to certain traps and looks, you'd need stuff from agility courses all over. (a couple gnomeballs, the treasure from the Pyramid, tickets, etc.) This could also tie into the pvp aspect of a house, making for some interesting opportunities if it could be connected to the dungeon! Would also have some interesting options for wars and such.
