The Little Things Make the World go 'Round!
Yeah, it is the little details that keep something like runescape rolling. These tiny additions together would make things feel more complete in it. Yet another of those "Why isn't it in the game right now?" ideas. Thanks! =D> =D>

~The Healing Skill [Thought out]
This has potential, but some of the things are still overpowered. There also seems to be too few abilities for this to be a proper skill. Maybe you could make it something available if you have multiple skills at a certain level, not unlike using grapple shortcuts. And the names of most of the items/spells aren't that good. Other than that, I give it a 7/10 for effort!

Changing the color of yew trees
This would help LOADS with macroers. Might not be the easiest to program, but it is leagues better than the idea by lordkafei! =D> =D> We should have this already #-o

Why are there yew trees in F2P?
Here's an idea; DON'T POST IN THIS TOPIC! I think this whole board would be appreciative if this topic fell off the boards. Thank you! :wall: :

Optional Quest Idea... Not for the faint of heart.
This is one of the best miniquest ideas I have ever seen! And I think the equipment stats are about right for the difficulty of this quest. They're too pricy to use in wildy, so that will give fewer pkers heart attacks (should get gp equal to the selling price for players if you die as a drop instead of the equipment). I support the idea, even though me=f2p ;)

More F2P Bank Space! [BANKSPACE ACHIEVED!]
What I am saying is that every couple months (4 months/1 f2p update sounds good) something that is members content, which is considerably small compared to other members things, is released to f2p. At the ideal rate, when everything in current members areas is f2p, the members area includes at least 2 whole other continents as big as the current members area each and a small moon. That way, f2p is capable of representing members in truth, which is NOT the way of things now. And there is a difference between "similar" and "the same". Mithril and Rune daggers are similar, but are they the same?

More F2P Bank Space! [BANKSPACE ACHIEVED!]
I can't disagree with you here. Minigames can be the best part of P2P, but I can't think of a minigame that could be easily incorporated into F2P without the addition of new areas. Thank you for your support on this, and you are correct in that point. The only real minigames that are available in f2p areas are Pest Control (unlikely), Champions (maybe) and the Rat Pits (most likely of the bunch). We would have to add members areas to f2p in order for us to do any else :wall: It's wrong to assume this. When I was F2P, I always dreamed of joining P2P because of all the skills members have. Every time I checked my skills I saw a large number that had a 1 beside them-member skills. Also, every time I got lost (mostly when I was a newer player), I saw a massive area that I couldn't get to. The fact that armour in F2P only goes up to level 40 is intentional; you've already seen your way through seven types of armour by the time you get rune. Although free players can't get the final two types of armour, they understand how good those armours must be. Finally-about quests. You say that Elvarg, the third strongest monster in F2P, can be beaten by a level 36 with full mithril and an adamant longsword. Have you done Dragon Slayer? Personally, I have never seen anyone under level 65 even attempt this quest. On the first part, I didn't assume anything. I DONE IT. I finished it roughly back in january, with the exact equipment described. And you do have a point on the second bit; we do go through 7 types of melee armor. Do keep in mind that we only go through 2 full sets of range armor, and mage doesn't even have a proper set yet! I would probably be correct in assuming that Jagex would pick a time when members get an update in these fields, f2p gets something (considerably smaller) as well. Sound fair?

More F2P Bank Space! [BANKSPACE ACHIEVED!]
Thanks, pengy! I aggree with you on the point of the major supporters making thought-out rebuttles to common arguements damning the idea of updating f2p. Would likely keep most of the people who whine about this quiet! & I feel sorry for whoever has to count supporters, that would bore someone to  & :-X for sure! Peace.

Why are there yew trees in F2P?
Do keep in mind that if we were to do what you ask and demote everything f2p has down to just level 15 at max, this has a good chance of destroying f2p, for reasons already stated. I have already directed a moderator to this thread, and we will see what he thinks.

More F2P Bank Space! [BANKSPACE ACHIEVED!]
& penguingeek, if you will please direct anyone using the "f2p=demo" arguement toward my previous post, I think that would likely settle it. Thank you.

More F2P Bank Space! [BANKSPACE ACHIEVED!]
100 pages? :ohnoes: Dang, that's approaching the new bank page topic! =D> =D> Nice! And I would like to state something. Please don't harass me for it, seeing as I am a f2p. If you really think about it, f2p IS a demo. *dodges the tomatoes, oranges, laser beams, etc.* Nownow, let me finish. If f2p IS a demo, then it is a very poor one, for the following reasons; There is absolutely ZERO minigames in f2p, period. These are one of the places runescape truly shines, and I have played some. If even something like the Fight Pits were introduced, then the quality of f2p would be boosted to what a demo truly would be, not some cruddy, selo-taped together doppelganger of a game that it is now, compared to the real game. The best quest in f2p can be beaten by a level 36 combat in, on average, full mithril with an adamant longsword and 23 swordfish. As anyone will attest to, this is PATHETICALLY easy, even compared to something such as fremmy trials. This provides a very poor reflection to the fun and challenge of some of the p2p quests, such as the biohazard and fairy tale series. The armor and equipment can be pretty much maxed out at the mid-40s in combat, if you train all of the stats equally. The damage does increase with better levels, but the armor doesn't. The spells you have access to also stop at level 60, making for severely stunted combat training. This will lead at least some people to think that p2p has similar..........shortcomings. The available skillset is bland, to say the least. The only fun skill we have is combat, and that was covered in the previous paragraph. What skills we DO have are stunted in various ways, one example being that the only combat type that can truly make their own equipment is melee. The only people who use things like fire strikes and soft leather in wilderness are either very low-level, intentionally hampering themselves to provide a challenge, or aren't the brightest bulbs in the box, to put it lightly. This would frustrate, and has already, almost anyone who is into the combat scene, such as myself. The ways of making any real money are few and FAR between. Practically the only way to make any decent cash is to merchant, which many, myself included, aren't too keen about. The only other way is to spend hundreds upon hundreds of hours doing things for less than 50k an hour. Most would hang it up after the first couple, thinking that p2p doesn't have it much better off. As can be seen, if f2p truly is a demo, it does the job very poorly. If, considering that TB@JT aren't complete idiots, someone takes up the idea to slowly (1 update every 4 months sounds good) release member features to f2p, while keeping (if not doubling) the current update rate of members content, then f2p will truly be a demo, which will be a proud thing considering that the members game traditionally has 3x more stuff than f2p. If you incorporate this into the original post, I will be grateful!

collision detection for pvp areas
Sadly, if you think about it, Prankster_King is right. :ohnoes: I would love something like this to happen (even though I'm a meleer), but this is one of those ideas that would be better implemented if the game started with it. Sorry about your luck dude!

Ok, that works. Support! & where did you get that avvie? Looks like something I have (anthro charmander lady) on my computer.

Playtime Day Review
What would be the point, aside from anti-hacking protection? This could be useful for that, but I fail to see moch other meaningful use. :wall: :ohnoes:

Why are there yew trees in F2P?
Am I correct in assuming you're of the mind that f2p should be removed? Because the turn you seem to have screams that from the mountaintops. And they likely wouldn't move to willows, you're correct there. They would move to the mining guild, kramja, and other places, as well as p2p. This would, as others have stated, cause the other areas, which are already congested, to become almost impossible to do anything in. If you keep on removing stuff for the autoers to auto in f2p, they'll migrate in larger and larger numbers to p2p. This would cause a massive backup in the p2p servers, which could cause a great deal of players to stop paying. Also, since everything has been removed from f2p by this point, a great deal of people will have left from there. The resulting drop in people playing would lead to those who are skimming the runescape homepage to think that it isn't as good as was thought. Jagex loses money in 4 ways; the cost to add more member servers at a faster rate, the loss of potential paying players, the loss of currently paying players, and the need to upgrade detection software, which does have its limits. I think Jagex would promptly shoot this down if it were on the official forums for those reasons.

collision detection for pvp areas
I love the idea, IF you could combine this with new following options, like someone else posted a bit ago. Would cause the whole pking scene to go in a good way IMO :)

Why are there yew trees in F2P?
If you pay attention, the "scorched earth" strategy has only been used in the most desperate situations, thanks to the base of the strategy. This means, the only way that Jagex would use it is if macroers made up more than 30% of all runescape accounts. From my understanding, this number is actually around 1-2%. For Jagex to use that strategem at this stage would be financial suicide. You obviously either WANT runescape to die or are too ignorant to even know what the hell you're talking about. Mods, if you will please lock this, we will be most grateful.

~Team/Clan War Arena~ (Broadswords?) Well thought out!
I support, with one suggestion. How about instead of the first one to enter the room is the captain, a vote is put up on who is the leader about 2 mins after the first person enters the room. That would make sure an overzealous clanmember doesn't jump in when he isn't wanted. Also, after the rules are set, there can be a purge-type option where the leader can remove people who shouldn't be on their team. Another good idea would be to have multiple settings for clan wars, maybe 1-2 terrain/size/etc. setups per station, with multiple stations around. Ex; Al Khairid desert could have a semi-large pyramid, with the option to set up traps if the person is of sufficient theiving & agility, or a large desert area with kalphite tunnels criss-crossing the area, with various openings. The tunnels could be populated with workers, soldiers, etc. if aggreed to.

Mithril, Adamant, and Runite Dragons *CONTRIBUTE TO DROPS!!*
I concur with Hohto as well. Ramp the power levels to be around Mr. Jad difficulty with a team of 5. Make it impossible to do solo, and add a team limit for the people who do this, so whole clans can't just rush in at once and kill them off in 5 seconds. Maybe have it set up similar to the pest control place, with a longer time limit but no respawn and only 5-10 ppl per game. Sound fair? & no restarting at where you left off. Would make sure that things don't become too imbalanced.

New Mini/Large game - Gladiator Colosseum
You just got finished watching Gladiator &/or 300 didn't you? Either way, this has serious potential! would love definitions for most of the equipment, even I have my limits :ohnoes: :wall:

The new Pickaxe Types!(I did not copy the other thread)
Not bad. Not the most ingenious ideas, but still quite good. Just one question. What would happen if you use an Iron Ore(P) to make steel? Would it be higher grade or something, or just normal?

50 agility to wield crystal items.
Just ignore it. Both of those quests are annoying, and to need to do even MORE work to get those nice, shiny crystal weapons would piss off almost every ranger in runescape, which is a very large number if you count people who are interested in it as well. You pay too much attention to some things like this :ohnoes:

New set of melee attacks, please
From my vantage point, p2p combat triangle is pretty evened out. It's the f2p one that's in dire need of modification. And the main reason why melee is so popular is that you don't need to waste money on ammo and such. It also hits a good deal harder ;)

REMOVE IT!!!
Yeah, another pker rant. What else is new? All most of you guys do is whine and rant and moan about people doing stuff to save their stuff, then turn around and do the exact same {bleep}ing thing. Here's a little bit of advice. IT'S THE WILDERNESS. YOU CAN DO PRACTICALLY WHATEVER YOU WANT THERE. DON'T THROW A SNIT FIT BECAUSE SOMEONE ELSE DID! Thank you. Would mods please lock this or move it to the rants forum?

Sleeping
The only thing I can think of that would do any good is the addition of hotels you can spend the night (5-10 seconds irl) to get back full health, full run, and normal stats (besides prayer). The cost would vary with places, like a hotel in southern Varrock being much less than one in East Ardgoune, for example.
