Silver Feedback (June)
I liked it when we could mute rulebreakers, but Jagex would prefer to do that themselves. I'd think the real problem is that Jagex can't decide what to do with the role. They started it to enforce the rules, then wouldn't let them enforce the rules. Then they wanted community leaders, but stopped doing community events after like a week. But they can't give them the powers to do any of the jobs they give them because they might abuse them, but ignore the mods that abuse their powers. Now, I get the feeling tha they can't decide if they want to get rid of them or not, so they're just ignoring them. As usual, Jagex doesn't do half the job and half-asses the rest. I like the role (And not for the status), but Jagex seems to be going out of their way to mismanage it. <_< Alg, I don't know you but I do know several p mods. They are great people, including my clan leader, I have great respect for them as people. However, for the role of p mods I find that many in the community has no respect for them anymore, if they ever did. The role itself is redundant, and pretty well useless. Its been useless for years and I think Jagex realized that when they tried to push p mods towards being community leaders, but that didn't help anything. Also, when you attack the HLF as unknowledgeable based upon what little you've seen I feel like you've misunderstood what you've seen. What you have in the HLF is a bunch of very knowledgeable trolls. Yes, you get a bunch of terrible, useless, annoying posts (usually from the same handful of names) but there are also a lot of pretty good ideas coming from the forum, it just needs to be sorted correctly. Might p mods be a decent sort of info to Jagex, maybe, but I have no first hand knowledge there. Ultimately I feel that any role p mods could take on now is better filled by Jagex themselves, the only role they could currently have is muting those gold seller bots that randomlyy pm people, but then I hear that many p mods keep their private chats off so idk. As far as acting as a go-between for Jagex and the players I am firmly against it, Jageex needs to communicate with the players more directly instead of using go-betweens. They need to hire people to read every forum thread and pass on the good ideas, because this go-between stuff no matter which group of players it is leaves everyone bitter. Sorry, I think I kind of put responses to the whole post in a post directed at one person but oh well. Thats my take on p mods, They're not useless people but the group designation is useless.

Interesting pictures, It appears to be god colours coming out of it because you have zarosian purple, zamorakian red, seren/saradominian/armadylian white/silver, and I can't tell if maybe thats supposed to be normal water or maybe saradominian blue. I may be reading too much into it though because unless its like hot pink there aren't too many colours not claimed by the gods however considering its a prayer update seems likely that the colours are somehow linked to the gods. EDIT: Oh and one of the bucket things looks bandosian brown. Taking a second look it seems like maybe we have to mix the god colours into the normal water to fill it with prayer energy or something.

Divination - one of the new skills reported by IGN
This is probably one of the reasons Jagex chose to put so many quests "in the past". It would be really stupid to have a level 140 combat requirement on the new skill so I hope they don't choose to require it.

Behind the Scenes: May 2013
The helm is the archon headdress which is from the armadylian warbands set off squeal. So yea, its the helm for a follower of armadyl.

Thats old Guthix, new guthix would have banished the allies and the nazis so that everyone else could live in peace. His idea of balance is apparently no gods so that mortals can be in peace.

Lol. Love that one line from the video. "...I think we're on track for a totally unreal show."

Basically when you die with comp cape you get coins and not the cape back. Usually if you're in a situation where you would die then you're not wearing comp hood because it doesn't have stats last I looked. So this destroys hood so you can get a replacement hood and cape.

Tribute to Guthix and New Combat Abilities
I'm not so sure, his methods may be different but he could be setting himself up as host for zaros. Also, does anyone else think Armadyl is an ascended aviansie? It would explain why pretty much all of his followers seemed to be aviansies and why he grieved so much at their loss.

Tribute to Guthix and New Combat Abilities
Seems like the idea was that there was no point to perfection if nobody could appreciate it. Guthix's goal was for those he brought over to live peacefully in that perfect world. ...Which made me realize that the backstory basically has no wars except for those caused by the gods. I'm fine with them having that overall message (A lot of my favorite games have done the same), but they're really shoving the whole "gods are evil" thing down our throats. :wall: The backstory to what we've seen so far has that theme, however we've only seen 2 worlds really. The backstory specifically said that Guthix handpicked those creatures he wanted to bring, so of course he wouldn't pick those creatures likely to start a war. It is possible however that on some planets there were no gods yet were still wars. Also Guthix was a god yet he and Seren apparently were able to create a utopia until some of the other gods showed up, so apparently gods in and of themselves don't have to be evil.

Tribute to Guthix and New Combat Abilities
I would say it may be too early to say that the staff of armadyl is just the elder magic weapon. The sword was both an elder melee weapon and had powers of its own so perhaps the staff of armadyl had some as of yet unknown power as well.

Tribute to Guthix and New Combat Abilities
I wasn't sure so figured just in case. Could be Skargaroth I suppose since we don't know his original coloring. I just thought it interesting that it mentioned a blue man which is sara's current portrayal.

Not saying it would have to be the original, maybe just a replica. I wouldn't think the original would just be a cosmetic. I agree that I wouldn't want them using the original as just a holiday item.- Future Update Discussions
I'd be ok with cosmetic over-rides as a reward for the event. Just as long as it isn't on solomons- 4th March - The World Wakes

I doubt it - it's just runescape themed holiday opposed to 'easter' plus Mod Pips(?) said the first new skill will be out in summer. Awh, damn. I'm still keeping my hopes up - side note, since when have Jagex Mods been truthful about when new content is truly coming out? :P Yea, I made a post on the rsof about this when bts came out. The way they said it reminds me of the nonchalance of the bts the month Construction came out. I'm thinking either there's an event celebrating the new skill release or there's an event celebrating the turning of the year in runescape.- Future Update Discussions
I'm actually wondering what the video implies about the desert pantheon. It was always assumed that due to their lesser influence that the desert pantheon was immune to the edicts. However, now it appears that the head of the pantheon was locked out by the edicts. I'm wondering if this means that he was the only one of the pantheon powerful enough to be affected or if perhaps this means all his creations are not truly considered gods and that's why they weren't affected.- Future Update Discussions
Pretty sure rune essence was created when in contact with the stone of jas, so in a way they sort of are.- Future Update Discussions
So far we know what...2 elder god artifacts? makes me wonder if each god had an artifact or is each one had multiple. Also is it possible that some artifacts didn't belong to a specific god but were the combination of multiple elder gods like possibly the kiln was a combination of that mountain looking and the fire looking gods. We only know 1 for sure - The Stone of Jas Other than that all we have is a cryptic hint that there are several others in-game: Some we walk past everyday and 1 may be in our hands. isn't the elder kiln an elder god artifact?- Future Update Discussions

You Vote! - [It's Here!]
Indeed as has been said a million times before: The vote is to gauge number interested in playing and thus financial viability and price level needed Votes with non intention to play artificially inflate this figure. If its artificially inflated pricing may end up cheaper, but this won't necessarily be good as there will be far less players than the price was designed to work for. Also stop trying to guilt people into voting who do not wish to, it's kinda lame and childish. I mean not once have any of us who not voted tried to guilt you people into not voting; we've simply said we aren't voting and why. You keep saying this and yet it is by Mod MMG's words wrong. In the 3rd post of [qfc]14-15-300-64238124[/qfc] Mod MMG wrote "Consider this, the more members that vote the cheaper it would ultimately be for everyone and hopefully reach the point where it doesn’t cost you a penny more and could simply be offered as part of your existing membership - Even if you don't intend to use it I think that's a nice thing to do for your friends." This means that Jagex is encouraging people to vote who do not intend to play on the servers. While I believe you have the right to vote or not vote, your reasoning that it would artificially inflate the numbers is false. Jagex want more people to vote because they realised that nobody is going to play if the votes don't get to 250k. The point is, if you don't want to play the servers then voting will only increase the amount of false votes on the poll (which at the moment seems to be very high, considering the amount of people claiming they have done multiple $2 votes). Since voting even if you don't want to personally play on the servers is what Jagex expects and encourages then they aren't false votes, they're just votes.- 2007 - Old School RuneScape...
