  1. Don't bother with a tablet unless you are very serious about art, and it will be something you use quite regularly. In any case, I would as other have, recommend a small wacom tablet. If you really wanted to spend a lot of money, you could go for an LCD tablet, which is easier to adapt to if you are used to drawing on paper, simply because you look at your hands, and your art while drawing, instead of looking up at a monitor.Although, the adaption from paper to regular tablet is easy enough, that unless you have a few thousand dollars lying around, it is not really needed. But, a small wacom is only 100$ or so, so I would definitely recommend that.
  2. thanks for the advise Ter, and thank you for the comments everyone. Yeah I am probably not going to add text or watermark this... partially because I am lazy, and partially because it's pretty pointless..text can be removed. The only time I put any form of "watermark" on my work these days is to act as a signature. Modified the palette used on the stars, and adjusted their shape.
  3. Well, seeing as the suggestion was so popular...
  4. thanks for the comments guys, I might add some things to make it look more like a night sky, but as stated before, I am a very lazy person.
  5. I have considered that, but I am a very lazy person.
  6. 3 hours spent, Pro Motion 6 was used.

.. really it just looks like you smudged over your picture, and if you didn't then you just painted over it...
  8. Looks nice, although the face doesn't like like that of a female. Make the nose less angular, and big, make the mouth smaller. I would suggest cleaning your lines before coloring. Unless, this is intended to be an Oekaki..
  9. Thanks, I am proud of the hair as well, considering it is my weakest point with faces.. but I am glad it turned out nice.
  10. The lips might be 1 pixel to big, but the nose is fine.
  11. No, it's actually because I cannot spell, and I am far too lazy to fix it.
  12. Uhm... Real I was hoping.. although the colors are not realistic.

The wacom graphire 4x5 is very good, comes with a mouse and will cost you +\- 100$. Now, the 100$ may seem like alot, but this is well worth it. It comes with a battery/wire free mouse and pen, and it is big enough to do digipaintings, but it is also quite handy for pixeling. All in all, tablets are good investments. Although, I would only advise buying one if you are serious and committed to art, because it's not worth it if you are only going to use it casually.
  14. Thanks
  15. Thanks for the comment. Your pointing out white pixels means my experiment was a success, because for the skin I used reds and greens for highlights, but next to my skin tone, they look less saturated. But, I suppose I could lower the shine a bit, it does stand out.
  16. This was made in part because I needed a new avatar, also it was an experiment with hue-values while shading. I had alot of fun with this.. and spent 2-3 hours on it. quick edit.. fixed some obvious problems I noticed..
  17. mm probably true.. did this by memory.. and pretty fast so I didn't really nail the colors..
  18. A 7 minute doodle.. and if anyone wants it, they can have it... comments are appreciated :)
  19. Finished it. Wasn't sure if I would, but I saw it, and decided to finish it up...
  20. his whole lower body/back are too fat.. the rest if nice.
  21. He he yeah it is pretty emo...which reminds me of another piece I made... the hair sucks....this piece was done in >1hour.
