  1. Thanks guys, I am quite proud of the arm and hand, Kaphias :
  2. I don't do many signatures anymore.. but I'm making one for Enipeus.. just posting this in a hope that it will help me remain motivated, and working.. Working on the hair, cape, party hat, anvil, and hammer currently.. background soon to come. Comments, criticisms welcomed. UPDATE: Added a rough background, and I tried to modify the points brought up in the comments, especially towards the arm, and the party hat. I also did some basic coloring. Whoo. Final (for now...): thanks for all your input, comments, and criticism guys
  3. To me, the floor's shading is just noisy, and does not really convey much. I would redo the shading, focusing on clearly conveying forms and texture in a readable way. Other than that, it's looking good as of now. Also, using 64 colors as of right now, is silly.
  4. SEXISM! Since I didn't post on the other one, looking good. It'll be quite nice once it hits 99 strength. Good job with the slayer, and keep it up. 8/10 for now :)
  5. What did you do to level rather than plundering? I hear the black jacking is great.. but I am uncertain how. Regardless, a nice achievement, especially now that it's 99 :D
  6. Irony ftw? HA! I completely agree that this is too busy. There seems to be some sort of filter used (I am not very PS literate, simply because I mainly use the pixeling aspect of that program) which makes the piece look like an old, worn photo. This, makes the signature busy, and it also creates rather unattractive, random white blobs across the piece, which is particularly noticeable near our left of the piece. Finally, the text I am sorry to say, goes quite horribly with this piece, and is positioned in a rather unoriginal way.
  7. Oh that shark is quite nice :) Really liking how this is turning out
  8. My favorite one is number one, it is.. dare I say it... cute. I wouldn't say these have really been polished on the pixel level, but I am still quite fond of them.
  9. Thank you Nadril! My hope and intent is that I am improving, so this being my most recent, and the fact that it is one of my better pieces, makes me quite happy.
  10. eh.. since it looks like the character is day dreaming, you could possibly make an incredibly chaotic scene going on around him, or a large shark about to eat him, and have the text say something like "Blissfully unaware"...
  11. Hmm right now, this is looking quite good. Looking forward to seeing it finished.
  12. thanks guys.. yeah Neishc I'll be working on something for you, but probably after Christmas, really busy until then.
  13. A half hour doodle, which comes form a palette challenge on another forum. Four colors used, made just for funsies. If anyone wants it as an avatar, go ahead, but Neishc has first dibs.
  14. I would work on the Lines of Luke a lot more, then recolor him. As of now, his stance makes him look a little.. zombie-ish.. for the most part, a decent job.
  15. Major props for using a Jack Skellington render. That being said, I think the background is too busy, and it draws to much attention away from the render. You want the render to be blended, but not blended to the point that it is no longer the focus of the piece.
  16. It's amazing to me that you can be so blatantly arrogant, and be greeted for the most part with praise and admiration..
  17. thanks for the comments everyone :) I'm glad you all like it, and the candy cane stays. Simply because candy canes are awesome.
  18. Something has gone terribly wrong at Santa's factory! Class five zombie outbreak!!! Please excuse the terrible pun. This is a gift for someone on another forum, which I am quite proud of. In total, I spent probably four or five hours on this. I lost track of the color count.
  19. Thanks for the kind words guys :) .. also, I used a simple HB 2 .07 mechanical pencil, and yeah I did spend around 15 minutes starting with nothing on both of these.. Although I probably should have used softer leads to shade with, I can't really be to bothered to change pencils just for a sketch..
  20. Which, contrary to popular belief, are indeed a form of digital art.
  21. Each one took around 15 minutes to complete.. just practicing capturing realism in sketches...
  22. Stippling as a method of shading,is relatively functional I suppose, but it is the most tedious thing in the world. Although, this is used decently here, and I give you my most sincerest kudos for choosing this type of shading, regardless of how much it may have made you want to kill yourself.
