  1. I bet all of you wear clothes (apart from paperclips) or at least a thong (bubsa) when you go out somewhere. So regardless of how individual you may think you are or feel, you will always to some extent be a part of socially acceptable activities.
  2. Stuffy. I have the flu and at the moment I'm attempting to make a sig... :wall:
  3. Indeed the thread is about this subject; perhaps I should have been clearer when stating it was about the transgender posts in general. Sep may be getting help and advice but most probably no more than what her local psychologist has already given. Sure, use this thread to carry on posting. However, I was kindly suggesting a tone down in other threads because frankly I'm sure I'm not the only person tired of hearing about it. And, this happened well before your opinions were given on off topic, however thoughtful or valid they may be. I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m having a problem and I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m unsure if anyone else is having the same problem but I can't even have a normal conversation with the young lass. Quite quickly it becomes a one way conversation with Sep talking about herself and only herself. To be honest I have never spoken to someone who is as self absorbed. Sep is a wonderful person; there is no doubt about that! However, there is no need to bring it up in topics that don't even require a lecture about transgender. There is a time and a place and regardless of your thoughful opinion, it really is time to get over it. To quote Sep for anybody who is having an empathy over-loading break down: Me: ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅIt sounds to me you̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢re more interested in hearing from someone who is both interested and baffled by your condition, rather than actually treating it.̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ
  4. I believe your condition but now it's time to stop attention seeking. You've had your rant, you've had your spot on the centre stage, now it's time to turn off the light, climb off the stage and go home like the rest of the audience. Share the rest of your concerns with your psychologist (who would have to have the most patience I have ever heard about) and save any other impulsive rants for the people on your msn list (if they aren't already tired of hearing about it). "I'm impressed by how much you know" - If I had a dollar for every time that was said in the counselling office...
  5. :XD: No... otherwise it would be I_RunForUrLife_I
  6. Unfortunately these labels will never fully be removed. Everything that ever has been socially acceptable is formed by critical masses of invisible numbers. The majority can always rule but the minority will always have a voice. "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has" - Margaret Mead
  7. Wow... Okay going back 8 years ago I played Age of Empires online and there was an old clan that made I__I names. The only way people could tell the difference between male and female were by the masculine or feminism names. There you have it, I_Goddess_I.
  8. Chuck Norris sold his soul to the devil for his rugged good looks and unparalleled martial arts ability. Shortly after the transaction was finalized, Chuck roundhouse kicked the devil in the face and took his soul back. The devil, who appreciates irony, couldn't stay mad and admitted he should have seen it coming. They now play poker every second Wednesday of the month.
  9. I'm sorry to hear that but you do know your grandpa has the right to live the rest of his life how he wants to live it? It's not your choice, whether it hurts your feelings or not. How would you like to do an incredibly selfless act and respect his wishes? I know you're going through a rough time at the moment but it seems as though you're really angry and searching for someone to blame. I've been there before, I found the best thing to do is to give in and accept it. Go help your grandfather live out the last of his life and go give a positive attitude to your siblings who need you right now. The current attitude you have, will only result in severe frustration and possibly later, extreme guilt. Look at this without any emotion attached and ask your heart what the right thing to do would be so you're not the one at the funeral whispering "I wish I did things this way." Don't let anger rule you. In with the monkey, out with the dragon.
  10. Generally when something is too good to be true I look the other way and keep walking. Sounds too suss to me.
  11. And what's wrong with hugging trees???
  12. Flustered. I was in hospital 2 nights ago (I'll spare the details you don't need to know) and have been feeling really sick. All my boyfriend can care about is why I havent given him details as to if he is coming over today or not. I'm currently coughing up not nice things. Thanks babe........ :x
  13.
  14. This article reminds me of the movie Matilda where Miss Trunchbull hammer throws that girl by the pigtails :anxious:
  15. I have no sense of dress or fashion, if fashion became a law, I would be arrested and locked up  I'm a bit of a hippy who can tell someone what i think of them and then get over it and move on and hold nothing against them. I love people from all walks of life and I'm pretty much as liberal as you can get. My attitude in life is pretty mellow and I usually flow with whatevers going. My music is techno, trance, meditative music, tribal music, cultural music etc When I change my life, I change my hair colour. I express myself in tattoos and all things creative.

Sorry heartless but it's now my turn to be heartless, you have a long way to go to finish your psychology degree so please keep working on building those interpersonal skills you're supposed to be developing. Haha, if only you knew. I landed a career out of going around to different high schools, TAFE's and universities talking about my experience with teenage depression. So I would know it from personal experience and from a professional experience.
  17. All I can suggest is to put up with it until you turn 18. At least by that age you would have had a good 2 years to think about your decision as well.
  18. I blame the cows, smelly creatures :P

If you feel comfortable doing it, do it. I never tell my parents anything, I go to my partner. Normally because when I do go to them, they turn the story around some how and have something to yell at me for.
  20. IGoddessI replied to Lionheart_0's topic in Off-Topic
Yes it is a psychological problem. I'm a public speaker who has social anxiety, it doesn't mean that I can't grow and learn by it. It also doesn't mean that I have to yell or name call to get my point across to people. If you can genuinely say to someone in a polite way that something they said has upset you, they would most probably come to a reasonable conclusion where you are both happy. The biggest help I can be to you highlanders is by learning to minimise offensiveness in your message and making I statements. Bubsa doesn't own the problem, you do. Bubsa is a pretty reasonable person, he doesn't wear his heart on his sleeve, if you did things maturely I'm sure he would have compromised with you.

Highlanders, Walk it off and stop being silly you can get your point across without the name calling. People will actually listen to you and you may even get an apology if something has offended you, if you can be mature about it.
  22. IGoddessI replied to Lionheart_0's topic in Off-Topic
As Bubsa said, some people can just accept things, others can't. Not everybody is as strong as you, mentally but well done for being so mature. I grew up being drilled in to me that I was a screw up and would never be anything good in life. Showed them eh? :P
  23. Don't waste so much money, you could be out of home by now
  24. Signed up to flame swifty and got my first account banned 8-)
  25. Hahaha you sound exactly like me 8-) even when I'm evil, some way, shape, or form I still manage to do good. When I won a lot of money one time I put a bar tab on, tipped extremely generously to the people who have to work behind a bar for a living and to serve food to people for a living and bought the left over bread, cakes and buns etc and donated it to the shelter. I didn't have much left but it made me feel good. Then one time when I had drank some home brew and it was too pure, I started frothing from the mouth, slipping in and out of consciousness and the guy down the road saved my life who was on my bar tab from my previous win. I'm a firm believer in karma. Btw to the thread poster - Everyone else may be bagging you out but I really enjoy your posts :
