RIP - Habeus Corpus, Land of Freedom.
So true. Terrorisms main objective is to create fear and let it affect our way of life. With the way the Government and Media has reacted they have achieved that goal. They wanted to destroy our way of life and our society and it looks as if they are achieving it. And in that way, the terrorists are the best thing that ever happened politically for Bush. He's been able to manipulate the whole country and even the world and shape things all because humans are so insecure when it comes to the issue of fear. He takes terrorism, tries as much to scare Americans as possible - who in general are willing to give up liberty permanently for temporary security - and uses the tool of fear to keep gaining control over whatever he possibly can. Fear is a politician's best friend. And terrorism is his vehicle he uses to put the world into fear, allowing him to do these ridiculous things. Because people are so indifferent to everything besides not being the target of the next 9/11, they don't care what it takes to prevent them from being attacked by the big scary terrorists that are looming and are going to pop out of nowhere and attack us everywhere. It's irrationality that's allowed Bush to get as far as he has. Americans have a weakness. It's that we believe this president. As Olbermann said, I'd love to see if you still believe him if for some reason feds lock you up, claiming you never were a citizen - in which case you can't have a trial over whether or not you are. Oh well. It's ok. He has to do it to keep us safe. Ironically CNN (liberal news station) is constantly trying to make it look like America is on the brink of destruction to discredit Bush and get him out of office - but it's probably doing the opposite.

Next Gen Bets: X360 PS3 or Wii?
That's gross but true. And do you think Sony collaborated with them in this? If so, that's just wrong.

Marriage and Kids?
Sorry Bubsa for missing this. The bachelor life for me is 'sad' because it's lonely. Everytime someone tells me a story of how s/he wants to be a millionaire and so forth and that they don't have time to have a family, I get turned off. I don't think I can appreciate what I have in life unless I can share it with somebody I love. I couldn't agree more.

The "Who?" topic has been not loading for me all day. It's not my internet service, since every other link I've clicked on today has loaded instantly.

Abnormalalities. Heh.
I love how half these abnormalities aren't abnormalities, but people complimenting themselves. "I'm really abnormal - people think I look good and I can jump high". So yea, I'm abnormal because I'm super smart AND good looking, AND musically talented. I'm so abnormal. I'm a freak that way.

is halo 2 for the PS2?
Try google. Or playstation's website. Or Halo's website. Obviously we could answer this question too, but things you could easily find yourself by searching a site that already has the information will be generally classified as spam. Locked.

New iPods and iPhones coming out in December
I was always of the opinion that turning an iPod into a cellphone was a better idea than turning a cellphone into an .mp3 player.

Bush sneaks in a ban on online gambling with new bill
Canada employs a 'first past the post' system. I'm not quite sure how you manage to end up with a minority government though, nor how the opposition - if it isn't forming a government, then it surely can't have a majority? - could veto anything? (... if you could see me face, there'd be this glowing "oooo, new knowledge, tell me!" expression radiating from it). Still though, that's not the same thing a majority coalition government, as in that case - by definition - the opposition is in minority and won't be vetoing cabbage. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadian_H ... omposition Bills are voted on by the house of commons. It is currently 40.58% comprised of Conservatives. Everybody votes on bills - not just the conservatives and the official opposition. That means the conservatives can only guarantee a vote of 125 of 308 seats will vote in favour of a bill - they still need 29 out of the remaining 183 to vote in favour - which usually happens, but it guarantees that the conservatives can't do anything ridiculous as the other seats can vote against. A minority government also does not have access to a lot of documents - many of which are related to the sponsorship scandal - since the Conservatives do not hold a majority, alot of the corruption the Liberals have gone through cannot be exposed until a party aside from the Liberals gets a majority vote.

Marriage and Kids?
I can't wait to get married. I think sharing life/love/relationship with another person is integral to being human. I want to have a daughter too :)

Next Gen Bets: X360 PS3 or Wii?
Option H 1. Tie: Xbox 360 & Wii 2. Playstation 3 It's obviously hard to decide between the 360 and Wii since Wii isn't out yet - BUT, if some of the things I'm hearing about the Wii turn out to be true, it's going to be sick. For those of you who don't live in my area, sick means "awesome" or something

Male vs. Female Vocals
I prefer male vocals, but in the rare instance I like a female vocal over a male, I realllllllllly prefer it.

What a bad neighborhood..
The whole juvenile protection act is one aspect of living in Canada I can't stand.

The Drawbridge
1. The baronness for being unfaithful and putting herself in the situation. 2. The madman for killing her. 3. The lover for encouraging such acts from the baronness. 4. The baron - he was obviously an unfulfilling husband for his wife to want to be unfaithful 5. The friend - I don't know what I would do if I were the friend, so I just stuck it here. 6. The ferryman was just doing his job.

They call them "majority coalition governments" and while they have their con's, they most definitely work. Yep, for example I read in Washington Post, in your country four of the most succesful parties made a coalition and they're in power now (though lots of ministers resigned for some stuff like illegally paying for their babysitters and odd stuff like that). Each party still gets to voice their opinion, and if the other 3 parties opinions vary too greatly, they're no longer a majority coalition because one party protests. So each party has to listen to each other since they got into power by co-operation. Actually in Canada it's just called a minority government, and the opposition pretty much vetoes any bill put forward - what usually ends up happening is that the Conservatives or the Liberals will be voted into minority government when power shifts from one to the other - they then usually get a term to prove themselves with minor changes that the opposition approve of (they aren't entirely spiteful) and if they do a good job, there's a better chance they'll get majority government next term.

Yep, this is true. As soon as you put it "out there" it's copyrighted. (as long as you don't say "I give everybody permission to take everything" :P)

Any Red Hot Chili Peppers fans inhere?
well aren't you a loser. nothing of what you said is true about the new album, its brilliant. Every new song on the radio (3 of them) is exactly like that. Anyways, I would have thought music taste was subjective. Just because you think it's brilliant doesn't mean people are losers for thinking otherwise. Only a loser would think that.

Bush sneaks in a ban on online gambling with new bill
Because there's never a majority government meaning the people in power can't really do anything.

No - he is just changing the definition of what it means to be Republican. (As a result, the opposition - the Democrats - adjust themselves to be oppositely oriented from the new Republicans, changing the dynamic of our two-party system.) We're going to split soon - can't you feel it? We're going to split into a Howard Dean party (liberals), a Democrat party (moderate liberals), a religious Right Republican Party (Bush's party) and a Conservative-Libertarian Party. Wouldn't that be awesome? Maybe I'm dreaming... That would be SWEET! I'm in CT right now, and with the Lamont - Lieberman thing, you can definitely feel the tension within the Democratic party about direction to take. Just don't end up like Canada with their 11500+ parties to vote for.

The Killers - Sam's Town
Bling (Confession of a King), as lame as the title sounds, is probably my favourite song. My List is good too :) maybe give those two a listen again.

Well that's one less Christmas present I won't have to buy! Hmph... What makes your question so stupid? (I can play too).
