  1. No, it's more like 6_ kilos :P . Which is like 9 pounds or something. Hate conversions. 1 kilogram ~= 2.2 pounds 60 kilos = ~132 pounds Assuming 60N is roughly 60 kilos (I have no idea the relationship between the 2) then that isn't an unusual mass / weight on Earth. The relationship, as has been stated a few times in this thread, is that 1kg = 9,8N since the gravitational force is roughly 9,8 m/s^2 That's what's way off in the quoted text.
  2. LOL! EPIC FAIL. I see the problem in communication here, you are an idiot. Lol, nicely put Indy. Since I have to add something to this post... Mass is actually m0/sqrt(1+1/(v^2/c^2)) where v is your relative speed, c is the speed of light in vacuum and m0 is your mass while rested.

There's more to a book than it's cover. Not that I think FIFA is in any way superior to the PES games graphically, because PES does that good enough. The player names it does not have, but to me, it doesn't matter. I don't care about playing with a specific team and winning a specific tournament with it. I want to have a good time, score pretty goals, as in goals that I'd be proud to have scored IRL and which I know are hard to reproduce in the game. And not just goals, making a classy tackle or a nice feint is also rewarding, because PES is a GOOD game. FIFA has none of that appeal to me. It's all graphics and names. Exactly. Also I don't really play the tournaments, Football games are best playing with friends, it gets repetitive playing on your todd I think. Why do I get the impression that you two arent big football fans? No idea mate but I'd say you were pretty wrong. Its just that you guys dont care what player you are, which to me sounds like you dont really care about which players is which. So a football fan is someone who likes football players? Not someone who likes football? Funny definition, but if that is what you choice to define a football fan as, then I am not one indeed.

lol, same thing happened in my current club  a 2nd team game and I hadn't played football for about 6 months, just couldn't control myself :P I hope we do well, and with your managerial skills we should roll on through Allsvenskan :D

I'm not getting it, seeing as how much more I enjoyed all the Pro Evos and ISS' over the FIFAs since SNES. I do recommend you to go for Pro Evo 2008 instead, but I can only hope that if you do end up spending the 50̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã it's money well spent. I do not have high hope, however.
  7. Ocarina Of Time (N64) Super Mario World (SNES) Planescape: Torment (PC) Super Metroid (SNES) Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 (PC) All games that made me run home from school to play or stay up ALL night to play or both. Or I just dream about playing them for the first time again.
  8. Wouldn't that view make WoW a CORPG? Which I find hard to accept. Point taken.
  9. There are no conflicts in being both. The game fits both of those descriptions to me, though I'll admit it's the first time I've heard CORPG, most MMORPGs seem to be CORPGs aswell, and AFAIK the cities in GW are MMORPG in nature with loads of people being able to chat with each other etc.
  10. Best Multiplayer: Goldeneye/Mario Kart Best when I first played it: OOT Most likely to play through again now: Mario 64, just so easy to get back into and just play for fun. Mario Kart is the only game I still play. And the occasional International Superstar Soccer.
  11. I'll have to agree with the Baldurs gate series as well. Too bad it was so short lived. :( Yea, I didn't really try the Baldur's Gate on any console, but all I've ever heard was that they were crap, and I didn't want to ruin my good old memories. Also, just as a little side-thing, if you ever dreamt about taking your Sorcerer, Wild Mage or Berzerker through Durlag's Keep or to beat Davaeorn and flood the Cloakwood mines, it is now possible, with EasyTuTu. Just something I missed for years, but now means I've dusted of the old CDs and am now heading straight for Sarevok with Korla the Mighty, a Neutral Evil Kensai and his band of fellow evil-doers. He will later meet Irenicus in BG2. Anyway, it's a port of BG1 to BG2, and BG fans should check it out, makes BG1 sooo much more user-friendly IMO.
  12. Baldur's Gate, of course only counting the 2 good ones with expansion. Baldur's Gate 1, with Tales of the Sword Coast Baldur's Gate 2, with Throne of Bhaal The Mario games, especially SMB3 and Super Mario World, hopefully Galaxy will bring it back to some semblance of former glory, but I doubt it. The only series I've seen done nothing I didn't like...Konami's Football games. I didn't play the NES game, but normally that's not a part of the series. International Superstar Soccer and ISS Deluxe for the SNES, ISS 64, '98 and '00 for the N64 and the Pro Evo Series for the PC (and some crappy consoles). Each one was the best Football game made when I first played them.
  13. SC2 isn't a MMO, it's an RTS, and since they have an RTS in the works already, it's most likely not an RTS game. That means the likely genre is an MMO, an FPS or an Adventure/Roleplaying game with enough Single-player content to appeal to a different crowd than WoW already does. As far as setting goes they already have a futuristic and a fantasy active, so anything goes here I suppose. Also, to whomever said they didn't make a new series for a decade, it's actually 9 and the release of Starcraft in 1998 ;). Your point that it was a long time since they released something new still stands, but the conclusion is IMO more that they should release something completely new, especially considering they can afford a failure at this time what with WoW going so well and Starcraft's giant fanbase. Anyhow, my guess is Diablo III anyway, what I would REALLY like to see, and the only option I would consider spending any money on, is a Lost Vikings platform game with awesome pixel graphics and some cool innovative features :D But hey, I agree it's more likely they pump out some pre-fabricated brand of a game.
  14. Um...guys: http://www.twincities.com/allheadlines/ci_6293513 how about a little research next time..
  15. Ultima Online...THAT was a long time ago. I never got into the party/questing in UO, how does that even work?
  16. Me, a friend and his girlfriend are in the middle of Seiken Densetsu 2 for the SNES (Mystic Quest) and it's revived some old Zelda memories, amongst those it reminded me that I've never beat any of the pre-Link's Awakening games, so I'm gonna try my hands at A Link to the Past tonight I think. IMO the second best looking game ever just behind Super Metroid. Well, for some discussion, I wholeheartedly think the "real" Zelda games are only: Zelda I A Link to the Past Ocarina of Time and maybe just maybe I can accept TP as one of them in a few years Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love all the games, but these are the ones I consider legendary.
  17. Sarevok from Baldur's Gate I.
  18. Guys, grab a beer, take your seat in the sofa, get your woman to make you some pork chops or ribs, and enjoy.
  19. Lol, great stuff, gotta tell my cider-drinking wii-playing friends to try this out the next time we've got am extra summer night :D
  20. For the short cast-time probably. My 70 mage friend still has his rank 1 frostbolt hotkeyed. Yup. Its a shorter cast time then higher ranks. Out of interest, because so many people still use rank 1, would you bother training to get rank 2, 3, 4 etc? Well yes. The higher ranks are still needed for damage. The reason I have a rank 1 frostbolt is for when I need a quick slow without damage (like if I'm a fire spec). Part of my kiting might include using a rank 1 frostbolt because of the faster cast. Yea, for a frost mage it might be: Frost Nova = FN FB* = Frostbolt rank * CoC = Cone of Cold FN run away FB11 (or whatever the highest rank is) until he's too close CoC run away FB11 until he's too close FB1/FN depending on cooldown. FB11 until he's too close repeat Change frostbolt of high rank for Fireball/Scorch (or maybe Pyroblasts?)
  21. How are they terrible? :? Usually I get a group of people that I know (I dont go on general and say LFG or LFM). Sometimes a higher level guild member will help out and it's fun. What are the lower instances for horde? MY horde (BB undead) character is only 11 (alliance is 22 :^o Dont shoot Nadril). Also, do SW and IF and places like that Undercity as well ever get ganked? A PUG is a Pick-Up-Group. With people whom you mostly don't know. IF got raided a few times after my guild killed Thrall two days in a row :P That was fun, mostly they failed though on IF. The back road to Thrall was just too easy for a lvl 60 guild with two full raids mostly tier 2.
  22. 1 gallon ~ 3,8l 1l gas is about 11,50 SEK 1 SEK ~ 0.14 $ Which gives me a gallon price of about 6 $ when getting gas. I pay that gladly for the environment. Sweden rocks.
  23. Not sure what you mean there hun. I am on xp pro and IE7 and firefox. Main problem with the game is your machine requirements. When they say minium requirements they mean that ;) I had to get extra memory stick for my machine to play it, I'm currently on xp3200, rad 9200 graphics, 1 gig memory. I'm saying that I don't have Windows Vista on my computer. And lightning is saying that it is not required. Look at Lightning's computer's specs are. I played it during beta, and I would've loved to continue, only I've decided not to go back into that kind of thing again. I do recommend it to anyone into LOTR and MMORPGs. It's a decent alternative to WoW, it all depends on the raiding and other end-game experiences which I haven't tried out in LOTRO
  24. Does normal football count? ever tried it with a hackysack  I can do all sorts of tricks, don't think I've seen a trick on TV I couldn't do...or in a movie, except this one guy who starts with the ball on the ground and puts it against his wrist then flips it behind his back and above his head, that one I never figured out how to do...maybe I should pick it up again. Well, in short, I never bothered with a hacky cause I use a football instead.
  25. Read this thread until you've read scn64's first 10 posts. Then how rocketman finally gave in, GJ admitting that you changed your mind btw. I was first on your side Tigra, but the wheels DO matter, the treadmill exerts NO force on the airplane because the wheels do not need to spin forward to move the plane forward. They can spin 100x the plane's speed backwards, and the plane can still lift. That's the difference between this example and the person/car on a treadmill.
