The melee-deflect ring sounds interesting, so that may be a big contender for the zerker (i), but the spec saving ring sounds more like something to just keep in your inventory to use as needed. In any case, more options is always better. so you thought it was a ring? interesting. my friend initially thought it was a prayer, and i remain bewildered due to their poor wording

i currently take 2 overloads, 9 prayer pots, and 7 brews, using steel titan. if you are using unicorn and/or excalibur, you'll be able to bring many fewer brews

i know nothing about brewing, but it might work in a way similar to farming, in that logging off a lot can reset some of the growth (or in this case maturation) cycles, slowing down progress

mind runes are the best thing to use as investment credit. they cost 5gp each and are worth 6 investment credit. always have an offer for them in the ge, because if you consistently do MA the buying limit won't be enough for you. if you play conflict and are good, you can hit the 12 rank per hour limit fairly often. i've had to wait 22 minutes to gain rank before. also, you'll get a ton of investment credits and be able to get everything you want, or make some of the money back.

i don't know the number, but ice burst can only hit a certain number of targets. also i think it is more effective to burst at the entrance to a graveyard than at the obelisk

what exactly is expensive about bursting lobsters as opposed to bursting players in soul wars? even if you can't immediately use the charms, you could save them until you have more money

perhaps not when you start, but for every attack that i use against tormented demons, i use a corresponding boosting prayer (piety or eagle eye), unless i am using titan. it's up to you if you can / should flash them or not. i choose not to. make sure to piety for darklight though.

Is this some kind of joke? Of course saving an already .JPG'd (for lack of better word) as a .PNG won't make the .PNG better quality. Just read the post above. No, it's not a joke. If you fail to realize that you do NOT want to fill your website with hundreds of large size images then you are a moron. My point here was that Size > Quality in this case. The reason I told you about irfanview was that most people here seem to use paint to save their images, which uses always the same options for .jpg saving making the quality loss easily noticeable. However it's possible to reduce the .jpg quality loss so much that it isn't even noticeable with bare eye. Your post made you sound like one of those .png fanatics who always use .png no matter what and end up with large 2mb size pictures that cause teeth grinding for many. I admit that the size comprasion was unfair because the lowered quality caused by .jpg also caused the .png size to skyrocket. when you are showcasing a (for the most part) graphical update, you should save the image in a high quality format. optionally, they could have left the thumbnails as jpegs, and made the larger images png.

What's wrong with .jpg? In this case it was obiviously the superior choice :thumbup: Besides the fact that .JPG makes the image lower quality? So you don't know how to save images properly? Not everyone uses paint to save their images you silly boy. If you have problems with .JPG you might want to try irfanview for saving your images instead. It's a nice freeware software with great image saving options! i meleed him. z spear and claws for spec. sgs is for lasting long at bosses. this is the opposite of what you want for nomad: a spec that deals as much damage as possible to get the fight over with as soon as possible.

magic is good in trios, otherwise the higher cost and hassle, combined with loss of inventory spots makes it impractical. tds seem neither extremely weak nor strong against magic. i must note however, that my experience of maging tds is limited to arcane stream / staff of light, ahrims, and other very high mage bonus gear. if you go in mystic, mage sucks (have seen that) if you are soloing, you'll have to sacrifice using staff of light because just turning off the autocast takes up the entire turn of combat. i really don't recommend it.

i've been stewing for overloads since 91, and gotten most of my xp (currently 600 ovls off of level 94) from overloads. apparently it's impossible or nearly impossible to get a +6 boost. however, +5 is fairly common. i suggest bringing around 10 stews and your wily (best rat catching cat) to evil dave, and stewing while you catch rats. it doesn't take terribly long to get a +5 boost. as for the original poster's question. none of the following is meant to be rude, it's just a realistic look at your current and future practices. if you're using the hally method to save on prayer pots, i might consider that changing to using whip, and expending more prayer pots would be a better investment than either extremes or turmoil / ss. here are some questions for you: do you flash eagle eye / piety? at what level do you repot? in general, i'd say that i'd value having unicorn more than extremes, and having extremes more than turmoil. i got 95 prayer before extremes, and started having turmoil on all the time. now when i am not using titan, i do not use curses; i use hand cannon / rapier.

the same thought crossed my mind. many years ago when i first obtained my giant pouch, it was around 3/4 filled with essence, but after trying to reobtain it for this same reason, it was empty.

i got an elite clue from a td yesterday. i've not gotten any other clues so i can't say anything about them and level threes.
