for people who want to help calculate the actual xp formula, it would help if you post the multiplier & time immediately after the multiplier lowers

that... sucks I'm actually pretty upset about this. 0.15 is a pretty big difference, and a lot of people won't reach their target levels because of this. Plus the equation was a simple quadratic... Beggers cant be choosers. We are fortunate to get any bonus XP at all, so take what you can get. Also LOL at the kyatts at CW. I really have no words to describe that. Stuck here all day though :( Wont be able to get started on this xp for another couple hours. one, we're not beggars, we're subscribers. two, we should be able to trust and count on (literally) the information they give us.

could people post any more screen shots of their multiplier boxes? if we get a fair number we can find the actual formula for the multiplier

firstly, i hope you know that the effects of xp weekend do not stack with gilded altars. secondly, i would think a good number of people won't be hosting house parties, since they'll be taking advantage of xp weekend themselves. thirdly, you should check the RSOF for house parties, the tip.it stickies, or ask friends

Ready for it?! 3,600 pouches per hour for me. But if you're fast, 3k is really good still, so expect 3k and lower. I only can achieve 3,600 pouches at maximum speed with mousekeys at about 25 seconds per trip to the obelisk, and paying 100% attention of course. Remember, every second counts when it comes down to 25-30 seconds per trip. what exactly are you using mousekeys on? withdrawing and depositing items? >_>

Sorry for being confused by this but what does it matter when you start during the weekend? Isn't it just based on the time you log in going forward counting login time? I'm probably reading your graph wrong but it looks to me like youre saying if I start 10 hours into the weekend I'm only going to start at the minimum experience gain. this is counting from when you log in, not from when the xp weekend event starts. if you were doing an activity for the first hour, and then doing a different activity for the second hour, you'd want two separate multipliers, so the first one can be found by looking in the 0 row, and the 1 column (indicating play time from 0 to 1 hour) and then looking in the 1 row, and the 2 column (one hour of play time, starting at end of hour 1, going to end of hour 2)

It is a form of psychopathy. Basically you are saying that a layer of abstraction allows you to do almost anything. If you were playing a board game in the park, and I came by and wiped all you pieces of the board, would that be ok because its only a game? If you were playing a sport, and I walked out on the field and started sunbathing, or interducing a bunch of new balls to the court, that would be just fine, because its only a game? Why even bother to have rules in games then only allowed 5 people on the court at a time I DONT THINK SO!!!. At this point every game just will break down into a brawl. This is the same damn excuse that lets people make predatory loans and a host of other indirect crimes. Because the person on the computer/piece of paper is just an abstraction, a thing instead of a person, and not something that involves a moral decision. The break down of the banking system is a direct result of people performing cause never thinking/seeing/carring about effect. The intersession of a game between yours and my direct interaction does not change the fact that we are interacting one human being to another. And as such, that interaction, no matter what the mediary, is still governed by the rules of basic moral conduct in interactions between people. We can argue about the rights and responsibilities that are involved in our interaction, but do not think that we are not moral agents or moral patients just because we are in a game. they really should have avoided comparing it to a flash drive. so many people are misinterpretting it, thinking they'll need to plug it in. these devices take the current time as an input, and through a complex and hopefully near impossible to reverse engineer algorithm, output a PIN number. the algorithm is different for each device, and the first time you use it after you buy it, you probably have to enter its serial number or similar into some applet on the jagex site, which ties that device to your account. when you read the code off of the device to log in, the same algorithm is run on jagex's side, and if the two codes match, you're in
