  1. Ive never seen many reactions outside of my chemistry classroom. But even in there non of the reactions ive seen are really that good. But i wonder... what would happen if all natural elements were to be mixed together?
  2. ^ Oh snap, he just went there :P Anyways, in the words of mad4u

Ya, a dance isnt a place just to go and have one huge orgy. When i go, i see guys just standing there and the girls only dance. Im one of the few guys who will actually dance. It feels good to dance, not to mention the girls seem to like it (im probably the nerdiest dancer of them all, so if i can do it, you all can too).
  4. Also, you can't carry more people in your car than there are seatbelts. :-k I thought you cant even do that with a G license.
  5. It was ok, but they did come out with a remake for the gameboy advance. I have it, and it is a fairly good game. FFV game boy advance version is out to. About tidus wakka and rikku. It was part of Tidus' character to like that, because it added to the story. He was meant to go from a little cry baby that got his way all the time, to being thrusted into a situation that made him feel extremely uncomfortable. Wakka was just a supporting character, and it was his cultures way to speak like that. And rikku... Well she is just hot =P~
  6. I dont think people understand the way driving is done in most of Canada (I think most provinces follow this). Once you get your license, you cant drive by yourself automatically. You have to drive with someone who has driven for 4 years in the car. Then after a year you can get your G2 license which allows you drive by yourself, just you have to have a 0.00% blood alcohol level, and i think thats it. BTW the min driving age in Ontario is 16. so by the time you can get your full license your almost out of high school. You might as well stay the whole way.
  7. :-s Well atleast i can type better then all of you (most of you) even though i cant spell as good. ^all typed without looking... wait, my whole post was!
  8. I think its stupid that people use rubber bands for stuff. You go to school to learn. If you need to flick stuff with rubbers bands or w/e, go out on your break and do that, or dont go to school at all.
  9. Id like also like to remind people how hard it is to get the older games now. I took me three years until someone turned in an old copy of VII at my local EB games before i was able to get it. Although most EBs do have old VIII because most people rathered VII.
  10. Wait! If you just go into 10, you'll be repulsed at the site of 1-2, or 7 or maybe even 9(one of the best) . Besides, in 10 there were so many annoying characters (Non annoying = Lulu, Auron . . . ) although the battles were fun. There are no really annoying characters i can remember form the game... Well except for Yuna though, but thats just at the beginning.
  11. That is a line Charlie Hallowy says in "Something wicked this way comes". I basicly belive the same thing that he is saying. Dont cry and be all sad, you are just creating more sadness in the world. I know the death of a person close to you is very sad, but wouldn't you think they would rather you happy then sad?
  12. Im getting the idea that people think being a nerd is bad, and dont even know what a nerd is... poor children. Nerds will make the future, and then you will see...
  13. As long as everyone actually follows them, they do. People are just ignorant and and don't realize that if everyone did follow the laws, there would be no problems.
  14. Explain, this seems like a good idea. I did a little bit of research, and it looks like I can do this with eggs. Can you please elaborate?Bear with me ̮̤̉̉ause Im not sobere entirely... You need... 6 glass vials 6 Potato slices (5x0.5x0.5cm) Saline solution (0,1%, 0,5%, 1%, 5%, 10%, 5%, mix salt and water in those percentages by weigth). Put a potato slice in each beaker with the saline mixture. Weigh before, legt it rest in a mixture for 24 hours, then weigh again. Also, try to find a way to measure flexibiltiy (won't spoil this for you). :anxious: I did that exact same experiment.
  15. Explain, this seems like a good idea. I did a little bit of research, and it looks like I can do this with eggs. Can you please elaborate? Eggs? Osmosis is the Diffusion of water across a semi permeable membrane. Ill see if i can find a diagram to show you how the experiment would go. Eggs have membranes :P :-k Since when? Anyways, here is the diagram.

  17. Map the genome of some random animal... Actually you could probably build some kind of model of DNA and then get some information on the DNA and present it.
  18. ...Hypocrite elaborate You are pointing him out and trying to make him feel lower about himself, and making yourself look like the [wagon].
  19. *dies of all the equations in chem and physics* thats why i like bio more, less math.
  20. ...Hypocrite
  21. Your teacher didn't know because there is no answer to the question except for "no". It doesn't happen, and if it does, its a freak of nature, and dies. Its one of those things that just happen in nature and there is no explaining it yet atleast. Therefore he was just working with what he knew and what science knows. (sience knows more though :P) Edit: actually i was only thinking of what i learned at the beginning of the year. I forgot what we learned in the genetics unit. If such thing were to happen, its just a genetic defect.
  22. The day after my grade 8 Graduation i went to the school since the rest of the school except grade 8's still had it. I was with my first g/f then. Well we spent some of the day in the school then went out of the school and hung with friends. but then... we got that feeling and when behind the portable... the principle found us, and phoned our parents. He described us as being "hot'n heavy".... The portables are now removed from the school and even though i know it wasnt because of us, i joke with my ex ex g/f (that girl) and say that it was removed because of us.
  23. It's all in the attitude. Maybe you just don't realize that maybe your doing something or acting in a way that is ticking him off and you just don't realize it because thats who you are. Like that wanting a tattoo when you are 18, i know its not bad thing to just bring it up, but maybe your dad just doesn't like it when people bring up stuff that he finds irritating and dislikes. My suggestion: Do what i do, live a separate life. Be as independent from your parents as possible without asking them for much (basically things you don't need, unless you don't have a job). This way when you do go to talk to and ask them about and for stuff, its a rare occasion so they may just not mind it. My parents actually like it when I talk because it means i have something to say. I don't say anything unless it is worth saying.

Sorry, but it's simply impossible to refute that the atoms of our body aren't the same as the atoms of many other things. There's no religious battle there. I don't mean to turn this into a science fact/bible quote war though. Carbon, Hydrogen ( Depending how much chemistry you took, you should know not all atoms are the same. Of course all atoms have a nucleus which contain neutrons and protons, and then (a) valance shell(s) which contains electrons. The things that make each atom/element different are the number of protons and neutrons and electrons in an atom. For example, carbon has an atomic number of 6. This means there are 6 protons and 6 neutrons. Now if we take another element such as Lithium, it has an atomic number of 3, meaning 3 electron and protons. Now, when we attempt to put together a metal and a non-metal, atoms must move from one element to another so that we make an octet (or full valance in each shell). Lets put Lithium and Carbon together. Carbon needs 4 electrons to become an octet. Since Lithium has 1 electron in its valance shell, there needs to be 4 lithium to make that Carbon have an octet. This makes Li4C (Lithium Carbide). Now to go further, Each element has a different portion to a certain property called electronegativity. Now i don't know the exact electronegativity for lithium and carbon, but, the energy needed to put together Lithium and carbon would be different then say, magnesium and Carbon. There is your chemistry lesson forthe day.
