  1. There are crafters willing for this, runners are indeed scarce, but there are a few! And yeah, you give 27 ess for somewhere around 33+ laws... I just checked it out myself...
  2. Prayer - burying bones, burning shades GF ashes :D
  3. Lol, how come only people from my clan bid on me :D
  4. There's also one just east of Aubury's RC shop...
  5. Money will be future TET prize money
  6. And how does that ensure that the content is used again? No for, say, Temple of Mor'ton to be popular again there'd have to be a unique and useful reward that you could get... Perhaps something that uses up ALL 100% of your Sanctity (takes a while)... Although I could see a slight increase in rarer drops from the keys you get when burning the Vyre Corpses also work out...
  7. Without bots; RS would be a game where people could also do some of the gathering skills themselves for relativly good money (especially when you consider the risk involved =none)... In other words; ALL of the skills would be used and enjoyed once again, and this diversity is what I believe is what makes RS so unique...
  8. Where does it say that? (curiosity, not challenging this claim)
  9. Welcome to the forums, tusamni, good to see our articles prompted you to post :) But you point out something that was not exactly the field I was arguing in... Yes, PK-ing wasn't nearly as good under the BH/PVP laws as it is now... I, for one, am glad to see statues gone, for example... But my entire article was about free trade and not the PK system... I did write some articles in the past about the BH drop table, and that should be worth a read for you as well :)
  10. OBT You troll... We just established that it'd be at least cleanER and fairER...
  11. You're probably right... But just like one fallen tree will not stop a tank, many fallen trees will probably prompt a change of route...
  12. I'll tell you when RS 'jumped the shark', and I'm quite sure most of you will agree with me: Jumping the Shark (or Nuking the Fridge) is when "a particular production effort has surpassed its relevance and reached a point of decline in quality that it is incapable of recovering from". (direct wikiquote) I believe I first felt that RuneScape had started to go down this path of lesser quality updates when they felt they had to update the ever-popular-due-to-its-simplicity minigame that almost everyone has played at some point: [spoiler=Click here to get your mind blown]Castle Wars /thread
  13. Yeah but that's not possible with ALL bots...
  14. It's clear to me and you're right too... While Skilling shouldn't be as profitable as Monster Hunting or PK-ing or even Staking... It should be more profitable than it is now, as current prices are pushed down by bots...
  15. Ok guys the discussion seems to have gone a bit off topic, but this discussion has given me a HUGE idea for one of my next articles (your post has been the main instigator for this idea, Mr Squab, I hope you don't mind me quoting you)... @ everyone claiming I have the balls to say what noone dares to publicly say: It's why they still tolerate me over here :) Something along the lines of a mutual punching bag for everyone, I forgot...
  16. I use the spirit tree network to access the bloon network there...
  17. Barricades EVERYWHERE... Every person is allowed to set up a single cade... And just watch the world grind to a peaceful halt...
  18. People lured Hati all the way to the flax fields... Thats how you kill!
  19. @Bladewing: while you are technically correct on the skill v kill argument, RuneScape used to be about the balance between the two, in order to have people enjoy as many aspects of the game... Bots will rapidly lower prices of MANY items as they have done in the past, and therefor basicly kill an aspect of the game... I'm not entirely sure that Jagex had this in mind when releasing Free Trade... @Excels: We did agree to seperate Wilderness and Free Trade between us, but not how we would write about the two... Fortunately we are allowed to be biased and accusatory in our articles, just as we are allowed to be purely factional and boring :) As for your argument, I made a whole summum of stuff that you could and couldnt do and I did mention giving gifts in a single line which I'll quote here: "...don't you think it was perhaps a good thing that you couldn't just give your Phat collection away?" Oh, and by 'waiting for prices to come back down' I did mean a few days, maybe a week... While this is roughly equal to the time needed to find a seller who matches your low offer in fally w2, the difference I wanted to point out between the two is that you can do something else while the GE does the work for you...
  20. What I read was "Hi I am L.Z and I am a gambling addict"... Powerful stuff, if you ask me, and I can completely understand why someone would feel that there is no motivation to play RS anymore after that... Say what you will, but this too is an indirect result of Free Trade coming back... As I said in my article this week: Perhaps it was a good thing that you couldn't just give your Phat collection away...
  21. Put aside the fact that even though Jagex basicly admitted that Bots and RWT will always be a problem and that Free Trade would vastly increase these problems... Answer me this..; If Jagex claims they can manage Bots and RWT much better, wouldn't it have been much wiser to test those systems before implementing Free Trade? Don't you think it's rather stupid that they dove in face first with all this, before even testng if the water is really deep enough?
  22. So whats your argument again in the first article? Actually, it IS an argument if you KNOW that that abuse is going to increase... QED: Gun-related crime per capita in the US is way higher than in the UK (27 times), and knowing this is (according to you) no argument against allowing people to purchase, own and carry guns... Every sane person knew that RWT and Botting and Scamming and all the other bad stuff would vastly increase the second Free Trade would return... Even Jagex knew it...
  23. Noone mentioning RWT and all the subsequent misery from that?
  24. Thats cruel! :o And funny too :) How did they respond?
