Its ok, no need to apologise... You may wish to consider making 2 or 3 chanels for your clan... One public, one private and perhaps a staff-only channel...

My point was rather that they have to think of containers to transport mellons and corn, cuz those dont exist yet...

The guaranteed poll to decide for the Varrock achievement was a joke though... I'm quite sure that when giving it serious thought, a LOT of people whould have chosen Rellekka instead, but alas, that was not the town that got the graphics update a week before...

Jagex isnt the least bit interested in fixing the economy, that obviously doesnt need fixing... I think the giant point over this ebtire thing is: People want to train RC while making money by turning essence into nature runes... Right now the Pure Essence is at another record high (Oil anyone?) while Nature Runes have not yet, or not much, increased in price... This leaves Runecrafting as an unprofitable way to level... But did anyone ever thought of mining pure essence and selling it? Bottomline of that is that you dont get RC xp but a bit of Mining xp, and Mining isnt as profitable on higher levels (91+) as RC is... In the end it is the price of the Nature rune that really should determine that the price of Pure Essence is in need of "fixing"

IRC, most very definitly... We use CC for events and wars and such, but outside of those times, we only hang in there if you're desperate to get something while in Full Screen mode... IRC has so much more... Bots to check prices, call up someone's stats in an instant, see the overall averages of a clan, compare clan averages, see if someone is in a clan, find out how much more ores to mine or trees to chop till a next level... On top of RuneScript we have our own bot to set events in, so someone only has to type !event when on the channel to see when to be where... All of this is made even easier because my clan has a WebIRC that allows you to interact with our IRC channel through a simple browser (for an example, just go to our site -> Chatroom) meaning ANYONE in my clan can find out what the next event is from behind the strictest of firewalls...

I liked how they kept kicking me off of their IRC channel at WoF, and how they wondered why I rejoined within seconds (auto-rejoin on mIRC ftw)... You have too many swiftkit users :P :mrgreen:

I'll come to your IRC tomorrow and help you set up the following solutions... But here's how I've solved both problems: 1. Make the register form have a question that requires human thought... In my case; How many days are in a leapyear? If they enter the correct number, their registration gets through, if not, then either this person was a bit slow, or it was a bot... 2. Google ads are based on the searchterms you have on your site. I pay for my website and domain name, and have a whole bunch of sweet features at my disposal (webbased nonjava IRC) due to the stuff you get when you buy webhosting :)

Sorry what? Peterpan isnt a mod on these boards is he? Look at where Das and DBZ are mods, pan doesnt have those powers on atleast 4 of the boards dedicated to clans... And sorry if I gave credit to unorclan where its lord of rah's part ;)

Well this took long enough to appear... I have to agree with Wild Goat... For a first edition I expected something a bit more eye-catching... Nonetheless, good effort... Also a good thing to put the spotloght on the clans that are less active on tipit :) They need a bit of attention too (we havent all earned our own thread, have we?) I immediately detected an ommision in your credits though, Peterpan is not a Clanmod... He is a mod and leader on the CIC boards as well as a mod on The Conclave boards but as far as I can tell not a global clan mod like Das and Dbz... The layout has a lot in common with the Gielenor Tribune, which is a good thing (go Bookgeek :thumbsup: )...

To answer the question in the topic: No... We have a specific topic on our forums where people can report that they're going on vacation or otherwise will be unable to play RS for a while... This system is pretty secure as the information on there is posted on a thread only visible and edit-able by all staff, so if we wonder about someone being inactive, we can look it up right there...

Support, these little things make it all the mor einteresting...

Shouldnt be a problem, just drop in when you're awake... The party is bound to last a while since its also something of a social gathering between clans :)
