  1. I believe it isn't. The miniquest resolves around finding the portals not the plain itself.

http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Managing+profiles follow it through and create a new profile. Again this has fixed that issue for me, although its long winded as you have to re-install or move your extensions over.
  3. If its your first search RSOF for bandos mass. Its less likely to get you a split or drop, but its much safer and I found it a very easy way to get started with Bandos.
  4. Pretty much. If you have 3 people spec with the AGS you can easily come close to taking half his HP in the first hit. On the topic: I've toyed with BGS and I like it for bandos atleast. If you get a special or 2 which hits on him then it makes the whole kill a lot easier. Also remember it counts as a bandos item so when you pray at the alter (1 extra prayer point on top of your max) or are getting KC it helps.
  5. I got to the point where I was thinking this game is soo boring then I said hey I've not tried using ice spells for barrows, teaming bandos or aiming for a quest cape. The barrows runs where hella fun as its a whole learning curve in its own. For the bandos teaming I tried attacking and it was a bit boring so I tried tanking which turned out to require a lot of concentration, quick timing and split second thinking. Which was just what I was looking for. The epic quest for the quest cape keeps me from getting bored and there is so much variety.
  6. No offense but at your stats you'll have a tough time and the drop rates of the dragon items are too low. I tried with 75 - 75 - 75 melee stats and 67 summoning and it took a trip to get one kill.
  7. Its a nice list and there's a few I would have in mine. But the top 10 are.... well different. But each to there own and I will be looking up some of those bands I've not heard of. ps. So true about Appetite for Destruction, so true.
  8. I don't know any of the back story, but this is my thoughts on the matter. Maybe there are like the wraith lords in LOTR they where once demons, but came into possession of dragon armour/items via a "source". They became so proud/fond/reliant on/of the armour/items they became tormented over it. In this state they could no longer maintain the armour/items and it became broken/damaged tormenting them even more. Of course you can say this "source" is what/who ever you wish, but I like this theory.
  9. 2 of the bosses are trickable ie safespot or get stuck (I believe this still works). Out of the other 2 one hits hard, drains your stats and freezes you and the other is limits your equipment. Its do able with help and if your willing to die atleast once per boss.
  10. Why wouldn't it be? Its just like if I was to change the arrow keys to wasd (which I have setup). Mouse keys similar map the numpad keys to do the same as the mouse. With 5 being the click.
  11. Leave Ratcatchers as long as you can. That quest put me off doing any quests for about a month.
  12. I love the piglet examine "I shall name him, Mini Pig" and the War Torts examine "Definitely not teenage, although the jury is out on its ninja skills."
  13. Love these little teasers. I'm guessing along the lines of dragon warhammer and not pickaxe, partly to be different and partly due to the warhammer repaired in the first quest. The pickaxe would be too predictable and Jagex like to confuse and amaze players with "I wasn't expecting that, but it makes perfect sense" type rewards. Maybe add granite boots into the mix too like how granite maces were an extra reward of Chosen Commander. Again these little updates give you something more to look forward to.
  14. About 1k per bloated leech and about 2k per stranger plant. This is if you buy the seconds and buy the shards at 25gp each.

Try upgrading to 3.0.10 I had the issue for a while then as soon as I upgraded it worked fine.
  16. [hide=Quick equipment update] [/hide] I like the idea, but it seems like it could do with some perfecting. Its worth trying void for both as it has better range defense stats then the normal magic gear. Not only that but you only need to replace the helmet/weapon to turn it into a range tank. Can't wait for full pictures and a map of where to stand. Keep up the good work.
  17. Greens: Ibis -> Bunyip Crimson: Bloat Leeches/Smoke Devils -> Stranger Plants Gold: Terrorbirds -> Barker Toads Blue: Save or Mithril Minotaurs
  18. There are a few ways, but all longer then the direct teleport. 1. Games necklace to games room then run west, southwest then up the side of the mountain. 2. Fairy ring AJR then run north east. 3. Lyre then run east, north east.
  19. I've been using the CT prayer method since about 50 prayer and I've never used more then 1 prayer potion. I pretty much used SirHemen's setup, but with a god cloak, super strength potion and DDS.
  20. Its more of a marketing gimmick then anything. Its like going into all a restaurant, the bread and water might be free, but you've still got to pay if you want a real meal. In RS F2P and P2P are getting to the point where they are almost 2 completely different games. The essentials are still the same, but the whole way you use your character is rarely the same. Its like slice cheese on toast and a fully loaded pizza buffet they both have a the basics the same (cheese and a bread base), but are almost completely different. ps. I was hungry at the time of typing this if you didn't guess. pps. The are no "set in stone" rules about what classifies a gaming genre so I'm not going to argue about it. I was just saying not everything is black and white.
  21. Fruit trees do not take 30 minutes to regain all there fruit trust me. I've been doing farming runs which include fruit trees for as long as I've been able to grow orange trees and if you harvest the fruit tree every herb/allotment (every about 45 minutes) run you'll only get 6 for the first run of the day then 3 every run after. Which is why I believe its about 15 minutes per fruit. I've never actually repeatedly harvested willow so I can't help you there.
  22. Tf2, CS:S, and UT are not MMOG's. I have already watched a 10 page argument on VALVe forums about this already. In what way are they not; Massive(ly), Multiplayer, Online or a Game? One server alone might not be classed as massive, but when your competing (for best rank etc) on a 2 or more servers it can be classed as massive. I just looked though a few pages of the definition of MMOG and its a mixed bag. Is massive over 20, 50, 100, 500, 1000 or 5000+ people?
  23. Hes focusing on MMORPG's and not MMOG's in general. Even though he never once says MMORPG only MMOG. Games like TF2, CS:S, UT and so on are all F2P MMOG's. As your paying for the game not the online play, this side of things is provided by a community or GSP.
  24. Tzaar is much slower I'd guess at the 20k mark if not a bit lower. The drops are really random and could be used to fund chinning or use of a cannon.
  25. How is this efficient and fast training? Its proven that taking a 5-10 minute break every 40 minutes keeps your concentration up. Activities like bosses, concentration intensively training and so on are better exp when your able to concentrate. Hes also saying don't let runescape take over your life, yes its not helping you play but its good advice.
