  2. I'm just hoping the code is a little more optimized. Still completely unable to load on my chrome book and I haven't had a chance to try it on my tower recently.

  4. Exactly my thoughts when I had a steel and a scroll and that's it last night. I submitted a bug report. Send the scroll out with just the captain and get something good with the other adventurer? Maybe? That's what I plan on doing with the duo steel/solo scroll combo when I finish my scrolls (three left). Only works if its a duo, when you only get one adventurer thats not an option.

  6. Pity you can't even do that anymore. :wall: A person in my clan does it regularly. He says the only hard part is the very beginning after you get the deaths cycling he doesn't use food.
  7. So, I've now confirmed that you continue to get scroll voyages even after maxing them and doing 1 extra. I had hoped doing the one extra would trigger that I didn't need anymore and I would get more trade goods but I got another scroll tonight.

  9. in reference to things like whips? IE trade in 10 whips for 50% for 1 hour. Or something, the thing I think is fun is you could make it scalable, where you can get 50% for 10 minutes or 10% for 40 minutes or something so you can please multiple types of players. Yes. It would work well too if it picked items based on your levels, and it wasn't easy to cycle through ones you couldn't or didn't want to do (some option but make it not trivial). Basically attempting to prevent the case of only a few items being used in the sink process, and therefor not providing a general sink. (See Moblising armies for many reasons why an item sink failed.) See letting people pick only a few items only works for a while because as supply goes down price goes up and people would naturally switch to another item. Mobilising armies failed because it isn't nessisary that why I suggested capping the max xp/hr at 20k, some people might do it, but the majority of players will pay items for an xp buff. And before anyone says rich get to do better you can limit that, and it helps with wealth redistribution and removing items.

  11. That makes it sound like phase 3 could change next week, and the week after phase 1 could change. So in theory if they have say 2 options for each phase you could have 32 "different" boss fights.
  12. One of rs's problems is the pure volume of items each individual has to produce to level up with very few ways of those items leaving the game. Item sinks would help increase the viability of skilling immensely. Something along the lines of for divination, make it so the maximum xp you can get its 20k/hour, then say it is tied to the gods and your collecting for your "team" you could go to an emissionary and he would have tasks for raw items IE) 1k coal that would give you a 15% boost to skilling xp for divination for 2 hours or something. They would just have to make virtually any item usable for exchange and not over inflate the rewards. IE Bring in a piece of torva armor doesn't give 10,000% increase for 5 hours or something. Jagex's problem is giving up way to much for so little.

Its funny that people think this kind of ability is over powered, it functions just fine in WoW and other mmos, with a long enough cool down 120 second+ there is nothing wrong with getting a free pass every now and then. It becomes skill to choose when to use it. The main thing rs is missing in terms of boss fights is the fact that the "team work" required still only effects the individual player, aside from the concept of provoking off. All the abilities you can only use on yourself. Something like an ability that procs and aura that provides momentary dmg reduction or increase healing from food increases the team dynamic tenfold, you need to know when people are using what and were you are in relation to them. Till player/player interaction with abilities comes in they won't have a good "boss" mechanic to use.
  14. If your maxing at 28% your doing something wrong. Provide some screen shots of these missions.
  15. I don't understand when this thread became a personal update forum, 90% of the posts are "Hey this is where I'm at look at me!" OT: I have 3 scrolls left to finish ports and I haven't unlocked thieving or rcing adventures or done any trios. OTT:Curious as to the current value of doing ports after you've gotten all of your own superiors. If anyone has current prices on tradable pieces that would be awesome.
  16. Yes, it sells, and it's decent profit considering it takes little time. Any idea on going rates for tradable peices?
  17. It does, but merchants don't work on any missions below 5 trade goods, and FotS on missions below 10 trade goods. 4*1.3=5.2
  18. Never worry about timing for auto attacks, follow what I said previously and spam abilities to maximize dps.
  19. 3s>5s>3s>10s>3s>5s>15s>3s>10s with thresholds used when available, is the basic premiss to never have down time.

  21. Kind of a bunch of meh updates, not sure I'm overly excited at the slayer monster buff, I didn't mind 2 shotting abby spectres.
  22. Not a bad idea except for the massive hoarding that would occur because of the merch mentality that dominates this game.
