In countries where abortion is legal, where is the line drawn? Is it legal to abort a week before birth, but illegal to kill the newborn baby? It just seems too arbitrary a line. And even if I agree with magekillr's point and say that the life of a foetus is simply worth less than the life of a grown up (which just sounds awful), it still doesn't mean it's valueless. Just as we protect humans over animals, but still have animal rights, it'd follow that unborn babies should still be protected. Just not as fervently as some groups might want to. On other line, I'd support aborting dead or severely unhealthy fetuses. It's the act of prematurely terminating what could be a good life that bothers me. @tortilliachp: Point taken with the pro life/choice. :thumbup:

I just hate that attitude. By that way of thinking, there's no reason to do anything good at all, since you aren't dedicating your whole life to it and just everyone is a hypocrite. How about we face issues one at a time? Even if suffering and murder were really inevitable, that doesn't mean we shouldn't strive to lessen them, even if just by small amounts. I would say I'm a pro-lifer. I really dislike the prospects of abortion -establishing the difference between murder and abortion at the moment of birth seems quite arbitrary. Then again, making it illegal won't solve the problem, and might only make the abortions that would clandestinely happen anyway more dangerous, so I see it as a necessary evil. Couples/mothers should have access to safe and healthy abortions, but they [the abortions, not thepeople] should really be discouraged by other means as much as possible, especially as a means of birth control.

I can't wait to see the theatres packed with more adults than kids over an animated film. :XD:

It's not that the area would be unpopulated, the Spanish would have conquered it as well. You'd just have 4 or so smaller countries instead. I suppose Communism would have expanded a lot more. I doubt the English would have stood up against it as fiercely as the Americans, to the point of entering that many proxy wars and financing contra-revolutionary militias, and Russia/USSR might still be a superpower.

Real teas (none of these iced teas filled with sugar) and fruit juices are really good alternatives. They might still have some natural sugars on them, but it's less than what a soda has, and healthier.

That was a lot of Off-Topicness there. If you guys find a post should be edited by a mod, just report it, even if an Admin wrote it. You can give your opinion there and there will be no negative consequences if the mods don't agree with you (unless you start abusing the system). It's much better than derailing a topic this much. In this case, there's not much you can do besides saying the images are a bit graphic though.

The problem seems to be on your comp, so it might help to change your password and recovery questions on another computer, and run an antispyware in your comp (Adaware or Spybot S&D are good free ones).
