  1. Hi all, Today I got really lucky from a Lvl 3 Clue-scroll which was left in my bank for a while; I decided to finish it and when I got a 3rd Age Amulet, my heart almost popped out of my mouth 0.~ (I was always unlucky and getting crappy items in clues) What should I do with it? How should I go about selling this amulet? I heard that its' street price is 240m gp? I haven't got any junk items though so what should I do? :? [FYI, G.E's price is around 33m for this little trinklet.] Thanks in advance~~
  2. It's one of the rewards from the Beauregarde Circus mini-game.
  3. Also, you can do Wolf's Whistle and bring along Spirit Wolf and Howl scroll to chase away the Rev; not sure if it works in a non-multi combat area though because the other time I tried the game won't allow me to. (unless I am doing something wrong) #-o
  4. Check the quest journal to see what went wrong. Check which flowers/plants/trees haven't you planted. Or it could be like what Zimbu said, placing the statues on the wrong spot. :?
  5. [hide=] Taken from another thread titled 'Jagex's finances, ownership, operation and trends' written by 'me'<---that's his/her user-name alright  : viewtopic.php?f=30&t=776192 Well, perhaps a really hard quest for f2p is alright I guess (not those holiday-events-[bleep]-quest type of quests); I am not against it or anything to be honest. How do we know this data is accurate? Anyone can make up statistics, 40% of people know that... [/hide] Yup, how do we know the validity of the data? I am not going to validate the accuracy of this data since all these was done by 'me' and hence the link to the thread that originally provided these data. Maybe you'll want to take a look at that thread and see what 'me' has to say? I can't think of anyone who would waste time giving false information , producing fake graphs just to escalate the f2p-p2p flame war. I thought 'me' did a nice job doing all these research and also small interviews with JAGeX employees etc. Of course it's very easy to brush it off as fakes and all but I am going to give 'me' the benefit of a doubt and trust that the information provided is as accurate as could be. I have never been against f2p having updates (being f2p for about 5-6 years already) however I know that for extra, constant game-content updates, I'll have to subscribe. I'll admit that I always look forward to reading those BTS news for that "available to free players" phrase. Was really appreciative of SOS, SOPS, GOP, graphical update, team-capes and all especially the graphic update because I didn't expect them to give us the 'almost full-screen' version. That being said, on-topic, I agree on giving a 'f2p-grandmaster-quest-of-epic-proportion' to f2p but that's just my opinion though. Where there are people who agree, there'll be people who are bound to disagree.. :) oh well..
  6. Log off, find a new world that has them both together in the same room and you are good to go :) Had the same problem when I was doing this quest too.
  7. From http://www.runescape.com/kbase/viewarti ... le_id=2146: 'To use any white equipment, you must have completed Wanted! ' :
  8. :o Then it's time for Tip Crew to update their Forum rules and announcement etc. ;)

  10. So.. I finally got a Rune defender (in fact I got two) after I don't know how many tokens. Is the Addy defender needed to get another Rune one should I lose mine or am I able to use the extra Rune defender that I have to get another Rune one?
  11. For Stat-wise, you are definitely 'over-qualified' for the Tzhaar Fight Caves  because I have seen Lvl 50+s and 60+s with the cape. Just need to read up about how to go about doing it that's all. Search for the guide by Muggiwhplar in Archives of Wisdom. EDIT: I found it for you, here it is--->http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=103&t=565509&hilit=fight+caves
  12. I glanced through the list and managed to see this: "High lvl monsters give extra combat xp"... :? Is this really true??
  13. Burying it will give the same exp as Big Bones but I suggest you bring it to the goblin in Dorgesh Khaan to get Construction exp instead. His name is Balrak(?)?? :? EDIT: From Tipit's Item Database -----"There are two uses. Bury this for 15 prayer experience, or sell it to Barlak in Dorgesh-Kaan for construction exp and gold. Notes Barlak will reward you with 1000gp and 1500xp in construction for each bone. However, you must be level 30 construction and have a house to get the experience. Barlak is at the north end of the corridor located southwest of the marketplace in Dorgesh-Kaan. You must have completed Death to the Dorgeshuun to visit Barlak. See mini map."
  14. The colors of the rocks are almost the same, except that instead of the whole rocks being a certain colour, the rocks have ore veins that show that colour of the ore instead. Also most of the mining sites haven't been really changed much, the ores are still pretty much found at the same places. Fishing in F2P mostly involves Karamja or Barbarian Village.
  15. Yes you should since it basically allows you to use all the Prayers available in the game currently. Of course, the higher the Prayer lvl, it's always better for fighting boss-monsters and stuff so there's no harm getting it as high as you can. That's what I feel anyway.
  16. Due to Real World Trading (RWT), Big J decided to remove the wilderness and the PvP aspect of it, replacing the PvP aspect with Bounty Hunter, Clan Wars, Fist of Guthix and also PvP Specific Servers. EDIT: oops i mean the Wildy is still there, just that they removed the PvP aspect of the wilderness. Also take note of the Revenants they placed in the wildy to 'simulate' real pkers...
  17. Not much thing to do on F2P that can earn gp fast; one way is to fish Lobsters etc. For Woodcutting, yew logs are the only ones that really make you gp. Combat? Maybe you can try to kill Moss Giants for their bones or limpwurt roots; Hobgoblins drop limpwurt roots too. Gold mining is probably good at the Crafting Guild although it tends to be crowded at times. Oh and you'll probably want to finish the Lumbridge/Draynor Achievement Diary for the Explorer's Ring which has a nifty teleport to the cabbage farm south of Falador.
  18. From Runescape Wikia site: "If you die and lose Iban's Doll, don't worry, just go back to the Dwarves and talk to Niloof, he will return the doll to you, as complete as it was before death, so you won't have to do everything again." ;)
  19. I got this from the Runescape Wikia site, hope it helps. "You may fail, especially if you tread too quickly. If this happens, you will appear a bit north of Olaf and will have to go through again. However, each time you fail a step, the bigger the chance of making that step the next time. This can still become frustrating for those with low agility. Even some players with a high level agility have been known to take up to 100 attempts before crossing! It also helps to take it one step at a time, just click one space a head of yourself each time. Since the new update after the glitch, you'll learn from your fail, so the next crossing should be easier. The secret to getting across is fairly simple: take off your weapon and shield. It also may help if you cross the bridge one step at a time - covering more than one square per move seems to increase your chances of slipping. Also note what Olaf said about the map being cursed; destroying the map seems to make the bridge easier AND TAKE OFF YOUR ARMOR. Although, these are just rumours, but whether or not this helps, more people have seemed to complete the quest when this has been done. Though the bridge automatically turns run off after taking a step, if you turn it on each time before you take each step you will not fall off. You must be sure to turn it back on every time the game turns it off or this will not work -this trick will only work for the more stable parts of the bridge;the wooden parts, when you are on a barrel you can still fall even with the run option."
