  1. French dragons are hawt Ok jk, but anyway you can't fish Monkfishes, nor can you cut yews efficiently. I guess combat is the only way? Maybe hope for a clue drop or something. Collect secondary Herblore ingredients like Limpwurts, Snapegrass etc? :?
  2. Source: The runescape wikia Don't quote me on that one though =P
  3. [hide=Link to Barbarian Training]http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=barbarian_training.htm#cav[/hide] Psst...beware of the Mithril dragons and Brutal green dragons down below :XD: EDIT: It's extremely high risk, and you need to kill a Mithril dragon to get a chewed bone for the next step. So, I suggest going there without anything and look around first so you won't lose anything if you die.
  4. [/hide] Did you get it on 89 Attack too? (Or if you level up, will you get it on 91?) Got that on 97 Attack; was a little shocked to be honest when I first saw that  but yeah I guess they'll probably fix it soon.
  5. I can confirm this...although I have no pic :( But yup he did say something along the lines of 'reminder of my power' or something. However I got another one from him at his little hut near G.E. after I had completed the quest.
  6. That will be Strength bonus instead hmm?
  7. Taken from another thread titled 'Jagex's finances, ownership, operation and trends' written by 'me'<---that's his/her user-name alright  : viewtopic.php?f=30&t=776192 Well, perhaps a really hard quest for f2p is alright I guess (not those holiday-events-[bleep]-quest type of quests); I am not against it or anything to be honest.
  8. Use it for notes and stuff; deleted all the names in the Ignore List a long time ago. Learn to live and let live ;) Used to use it for Fairy-Rings but then I realised there is a Fairy-Rings Logbook 1 day later. Dialled all the combinations to get those recorded in the logbook. Nothing much in there atm, perhaps some G.E items price or something.
  9. Dragon boots are okay, since you'd be owning a pair in the future so might as well get them now. If you have not done RFD up to a certain point, you can't buy Dragon gloves and anyway they aren't tradable. If you are talking about FOG Dragon Gauntlets, then make sure you get them charged first before using them if you really want to get a pair from G.E.
  10. Currently there isn't any quest that continues the Red Axe storyline.
  11. If you keep thinking how much you have to fish and stuff, you'd probably be put off by the amount therefore don't think about how much you have to go about fishing. Just start fishing monkies and it'll probably take you a month or so if you can fish 1000 monkies in a day. They are really fast; faster than sharks and lobsters in fact and I think currently raw ones cost about 410gp. Maybe farm marigolds or something while you are at it? I got not much experience about Farming though.
  12. No I didn't achieve my goals for this year :( I wanted to get 99 Attack in p2p but it seems like I got caught up with too many things to do there.
  13. For dragons, none other than the Anti-Dragon shield of course. But for other training purposes, a Rune kite would suffice; there isn't really many cheap and good shields available unless you count the granite shield which isn't that great compared to a rune kite although slightly cheaper. Toktz-ket-xil is probably out of your price range at the moment (~300k) but it's bought for the strength bonus it gives mainly (i think  ) Try for a Rune defender if you can.
  14. Hmm...if your Slayer level is 55 or above, might I suggest Leaf-bladed sword? It has the same speed as a scimitar and a better stab attack then a Dragon Longsword albeit a lower strength bonus. Yet it's half the price of the D Long; really good for people on a tight budget.
  15. I suggest getting 2 or more barrels of tar so that if you messed up, it won't be a pain to go back all the way to Tyras camp and the swamp again. Should you ever need to go back to Tyras, you can charter a ship for 3500gp there instead of walking all the way using the mountain pass. 1. Add 2 coals (not more); watch the temp meter go up to the green zone. [added 3 before and it just went 'poof'] 2. Turn the right valve; watch the green 'tar-bar' fill slowly while keeping an eye on the pressure meter. 3. Anytime the pressure meter starts getting too close for comfort to the red markings, immediately turn off the right valve. 4. At this point pressure meter should remain still; temp and pressure should drop to original position after you turn the left bleeder valve to ease the pressure on the pressure and the temperature. Turn off the left valve. 5. Repeat from step 1. And I don't think the tar stays there till you come back. It's one shot or never lol
  16. Sorry if i'm a complete idiot, but where is he in Phasmastys(sp?)? He's on the docks. Near the Charter Ship spot if I'm not mistaken. Come here with the dual swords and short spears   [/hide] Hmm with dual-swords comes a new skill, Ambidexterity? :) Similar to the Neverwinter Nights (D&D) feat which allows additional attack per round... well anyway almost everyone is obsessed with the speed of attack perhaps Melee fighters will be over powered? Could probably take their attack speed up to 7/10? That leaves the Mages out though :-# Btw Killerwatt, here's the pic and map of that Al Haraknu guy at Port Phasmatys. Maybe that can be used as special attack. Seems kinda lame as a stand-alone skill to me. Merry Christmas BTW Yeah I agree it'd be a little lame as a stand-alone skill; after all its a Feat in NWN and not so much of a type of skill. Special attacks sounds good although there are weapons that already allow players to do more than one attacks per round of combat. And maybe elegant weapons like these require Agility to wield? Like the Elven bows or something. Weapons that attack at the speed of 7/10... :-k Anyway, any new weapons are welcome even if they aren't better or equal to what standard Dragon equipment we have now. Another win for the Cosplayers ^ ^ looking to dress themselves up as Bleach Soul Reapers.
  17. 1. Jellies because they are one of the lowest levels to drop Lvl-3 clues. 2. Giant Spiders in Security Stronghold; got 99 Strength there with good ol' Rune scimitar. 3. Aviansies because it is solely for rangers 4. Banshees are decent for pure essence and herbs for lower levels. 5. Cave crawlers are okay for herbs as well but too bad they are poisonous.
  18. From good ol' JAGeX's Manual: The Books of Prayer When you have completed the Horror from the Deep, you will be given a damaged book by the lighthouse keeper, Jossik. If wielded in your shield hand it will increase your Prayer bonus. To fill the book, you will need to replace the missing pages with a torn page specific to your damaged book. You will have an incomplete Prayer book until you replace all the missing pages, four in total. You can acquire torn pages by completing Treasure Trails or by buying them from adventurers who have gained them as a reward from the Treasure Trails. Each page is numbered 1 to 4 and you will need one of each page to make a complete Prayer book. In addition, each page will be a certain colour (white for Saradomin, green for Guthix and red for Zamorak) and you will need to ensure that all pages are for the correct Prayer book if you want to be able to make your damaged book whole. Incomplete Prayer books only give a Prayer bonus, complete ones give various stat bonuses. Once you have completed your first Prayer Book you will be able to aquire the others by visiting Jossik again, he will sell you any of the books you don't have for 5000 gold pieces each. Note: Once you have chosen your book you can not change it.
  19. Do you mean Damaged God Books? If so I guess you have to finish filling the 4 pages first before going back to the lighthouse to buy another one for 5000gp. Not sure if it works if you drop the Saradomin one before trying to buy Zamorak's.
  20. Ovaltine? That's classic stuff, I used to drink that : Anyway, Merrily Hyt-mas~
  21. bump~~ You prob didn't receive an email telling you that new posts have been added to the thread because I edited the post. So I bumped it up so you can see the map I uploaded for you. By the way, if I am not wrong, there's some on Cairn Isle too..(?)
  22. [hide=] Sorry if i'm a complete idiot, but where is he in Phasmastys(sp?)? He's on the docks. Near the Charter Ship spot if I'm not mistaken.
