Going to a server with people already there then setting up a cannon is a "noobish" thing to do. When I used cannon at the Enclave I had to switch to find an empty world. Occasionaly If I saw 2 worlds with 1 person in them each I'd ask if one of them wouldn't mind changing. Back then you can change instantly so it wasn't much of a problem and they were happy to do it most of the time.

Slayer ;) Some point along the line you're going to get rockslugs or something which require an item. Banshees etc are killable without the item, you'll just need a lot of restore pots ;) Although with Tears of guthix you can get every skill to 99 without spending a penny :P

If you cut 8% faster, then cutting 10k yews is equivilent to ~9.25k with rune. Time wise. Which is ~ 4 hours? In those extra 4 hours spare you could for example craft natures and make ~ 400k an hour which is an extra 1.6M gp. So for 20k logs cut with dragon, using the spare time to craft natures you'll have earned enough to get your axe back. wait, maybe im misunderstanding something, are you saying it takes you 4 hours to cut 750 yew logs? According to the stats in this topic it's 199 yews per hour with rune, and 216 with dragon. So yeah, about 4 hours for 750 yew logs (with rune)

No Are you sure (j/k :lol:)? Thanks, I appreciate it, I can now log in at peace. :D EDIT: ^^WRONG!^^ After doing a scan, I found out it that stupid site gave me some nasty Spyware! I was able to block it and change my password, so it's now no longer a problem, but if anybody gets an e-mail like that, delete it, right away. I;'m glad I caught that before a hacking happened... And what proof do you have it's from that site? To get Spyware and viruses from Websites you have to download them to your computer by accepting the files. If you got spyware It's most likely from another source. If you want to reduce spyware and whatnot don't use IE. You will NOT get a keylogger from such sites unless you're stupid and download random files.

I personally don't use Ventrillo or Teamspeak as I don't really pk much any more and am not in a clan. I use Skype though to talk to my friends while doing other stuff.

Those sites do not keylog you. They trick you into thinking it's the runescape site so you type in your username/password which gets sent to them. No idea why anyone is discussing keyloggers when they're not used.

Pest Control most probably. to have ONLY 99 attack you'd require high defence and strength too which would lead to a lot of hits experience, more than enough for 99 hits most probably ;) i doubt that, i see alot of people with 99 attack with only attack as their 99 combat stat, infact my friends clan most the high leveled players were 99 attackers... their was like 13 with 99 attack without any other 99 combat, like 90 str and def 95 hp 99 attack. and this was just before pc. kinda like me i am 99 atk no other melees 99 except hits... range training boost hp so high as well as train to 99 atk If you were 122 combat and had 99 attack you'd need high melee stats too which would most probably get you 99 hits. Either that or they have really high prayer. 99 attack, 98 defence/strength/hp with 75 prayer is 122 combat, but if you had 98 strength and defence along with 99 attack you'd have 99 HP. This is also assuming you have no range or mage experience.

Two "Predictions" from the November letter are coming up this month: "Izso easy to make troll king shiver, shoal thing river" and "Seasons pass for animal lores, magical chores" Although I'm not sure about it, but there's seasons mentioned in the BTS today. Personally I think it's talking about how We've waited ages for summoning. (From the CE, not BTS) but whatever.

Yeh i remember gamesville, it was cheesy as hell. But no i haven't ever seen Runescape advertised on TV. Darren and Jamie as the presenters then had that Sarah woman doing the hand held stuff :P I only watched it for the two people who had "grudges" and played each other at crappy games :P I've seen RS on TV in England once, Was the summer of 2005, early. I was in Cornwall on Holiday and it was like 9 o'clock and there was some documentry on TV (I didn't see it, but my brother did) about some kid and he says that he likes playing RS. And it has a few seconds of footage from RSC of what looked like him getting lured in the wilderness :lol:

If you cannon in the Ogre Enclave, don't the Shamans attack you? Correct. Didn't use to be that way. The cannon would hit the greaters, Ogre Shaman, Blue Dragons (And rats >_<) while I ranged the greaters. Got a lot of experience per hour(About 60-70k, which was pretty nice) and this was when clues were decent so I made a lot of money (And got another 2 Party hats... (I miss you both :()). Jagex changed it one day and didn't announce it, I died =/

No it doesn't Jagex Clearly stated that you'd no friends to do the randomly generated scenarios :) and that you'd need all the classes to help

Yes they do. When the female models were changed Jagex put them back to normal. Most of the changes in the game (That happen after the update and are "fixed") are due to player feedback, seeing as there's quite a few of these updates each update then yes, Jagex do listen to players.

Randomly Generated Scenarios pl0z Get a group of ~5 friends or however many you want. Then you get shoved into a Barrows-esque dungeon. Filled with monsters you and your friends have to kill them all and find a chest in the middle. The monsters will have certain weaknesses/resistances and there'd be "puzzles" that you'd need a ranger for etc. (Like the "puzzles" in the underground pass) The dungeon is random each time, so you have no idea which way to go, what enemies and what obsticles you'll face. When you find the chest you'll each get a seperate reward like a cross between Clues and Barrows (Each person gets an individual reward, each of the rewards will have multiple items like clues) each dungeon should take ~an hour to do, and if a member leaves then the others can continue. The dungeon would NOT be safe and thus you'd lose your items if you died. Relativly difficult too.

Had two, both off greater demons. First one I was ranging in the Enclave with cannon and I was wearing my hawt Green Party Hat (I miss you greeny :cry:). Second one I borrowed some money off a friend to get a whip and jokingly said "I'll get a shield drop to pay you back" Greaters were my task so I headed off to Brimhaven dungeon, killed a few and got one :o My friend was like "wtf haxer" Sold it, payed my friend back and had about a million left for myself :)
