The only threat regarding nuclear weapons would be if terrorists somehow got thier hands on one. There's this view nuclear states aspouse to called mutually assured destruction (M.A.D.) which basically means 'if you fire at us, we'll fire at you and we'll both die' which obviously no one wants, so it's not likely to happen.

So what your saying is if your people, your friends, family, were being slaughtered around you, and you knew eventually your time would come, you wouldn't take a stand? Kind of hard to step up to the plate if you get killed? Well first of all, if your talking about what I said, then that means they already stepped up. Second of all if you aren't, then are you not going to die eventually to the same thing? You are so irragant. The people that "run" the country are ruthless! If someone steps up to the plate and trys to change everything, they kill that man and maybe could invade their town. Why? Because they can. If you don't step up to the plate and don't take action... then you have a better chance of surviving. These people live day to day trying to survive. The last thing they want to do is be killed by the person that is already killing their people. Think about it. I don't know what to say.. Try and set an alloted time each day for school work only. That way you can work up a routine.

It's mainly the fact that they made it into a competition so any [developmentally delayed] can come off the street, spend a few months on TV and come out with a record contract and enough fans to last them a couple of months untill they are forgotten (for the most part).

You can say that again. What do the winners get again? A record contract and a car or something? Yea, lets make a competition to instill false hopes in 99.99% of all of the contestants just because they don't have enough integrity to try and get a record contract the honest way. Murdering somebody isn't "evil" by nature, it's percieved as such because people fear repercussions. If a killer kills someone, 10 other angry people who don't like killing innocent travelers for their cash will murder the killer to reduce the chance of falling to his victim themselves, as they all know they're not willing to kill each other, but the killer is. Why isn't laughing at somebody's expense inherently evil? It doesn't have serious repercussions. At most, to an extremely sensitive person, it may cause minor psychological pain. Still, it's not permanent. Remember, if you're European or have roots there, likely your ancestors enjoyed watching people getting slaughtered by wild animals on arenas for entertainment, and they thought it's normal just like we think ice hockey or football is normal. Morals and thoughts do change. Why is it, in the year 2007, ok to kill that creature just because it was "annoying" you, yet killing, say, a dog could get you a prison sentence for animal abuse? Because there are so many of them? They're useless? Hypocrisy... People choose morals that fit their situation the best. Cut off electricity, supermarkets and clothing stores from the masses and see their REAL morals when they fight each other to survive. So should we have laws against killing all living things or abolish all laws for killing living things?

Everything that can't be said on TV somewhere else can't be said on South Park. Secondly, if a kid see's that, his parents are horrible, because South Park comes on past his bed time. Thirdly, did Christ not win that boxing match? I don't recall. You should be more angry about the episode where they lampoon Christs' miracles as not being miracles at all. Potty jokes are funny and you know it. When someone farts, you laugh. Everyone does. For some reason, it's funny to people. Pooping via the mouth had a story-line to it, he didn't just do it for fun! You've only known that for the last 150-ish years? Christians have known that man came after the other animals for thousands of years. You know what else is interesting? Dr. Michio Kaku, one of the co-founders of string theory, has recently said it looks as though humans evolved from a single man and woman. That also seems to fit the Christian belief, from what I know of it. Just becuase something is older dosen't mean it's more true. I think you'd agree our knowlege and capacity as a human race has been far greater in the past 150 years than in biblical times. And just because someone is of great stature, does not mean what they say is true. Who would you trust regarding matters of evolution? A biologist or a theoretical physicist? What background does Dr. Kaku have in biology and the evolutionary theory?, I'm not familiar with him. And I don't doubt the fact that humans evolved from a very small number of people. I recently saw a program that gives the idea that modern humans evolved from a catastrophic event that limited pre-modern human populations to the order of a few thousand. In other words, this event was supposedly the ultimate example of natural selection, leaving only the smartest and strongest alive which was the catalyst for the evolution of the human race.
