A common cause I've found is when people add a ton of new hardware and don't spare a second thought to the power requirements.

Wireless N has not been released yet, the "Wireless N" equipment released today is in fact false advertising. My laptop has "Wireless N" ability but whether or not it will be compatible with the final specifications waits to be seen. I would avoid investing any significant amount of money into it, until the standard is officially released.

Try relocating the Wii closer to your wireless router. If that fixes the problem, then we know it's a signal strength issue likely caused by solid walls.

Wine seems like a bit of a hobo's drink. Allot of bottled wines are cheaper than bottled water, we have ALLOT of wineries in my state. I would rather a beer any day. I more or less only drink beer, sometimes whisky but very rarely wine.

Is it an old drive? Flash drives only have a limited number of write cycles available and don't take long to reach their end of life, depending what you do with them. If it happens to be a cheaply made bit of crap then it will probably die allot quicker than one that is made with half decent quality. Is there any irreplaceable information on the disk? If not then it probably isn't worth fixing and better to buy a new one.

Does anyone remember the "Turbo" button that PCs used to have? Often along with a MHz display on the front of the box. My turbo button used to switch the CPU from 16MHz to 32MHz, but the power consumption was huge so it was mostly reserved from "high end" programs.

Roaches are harmless, if I find the odd one I just chuck it outside. But if there is more than one, which indicates there may be a nest/hive/camp (Don't know what they have) I use roach bombs to fumigate the house. After fumigation I would be surprised to see another one within 6months. If it's really a problem, as in more roaches around than normal. Then I'm sure you can report people to the local council if their uncleanliness is posing a health risk to neighbours.

A national filter will block "Unwanted Content" (their term not mine) however unlike China we do have a small amount of democracy and people are fighting back, it is the Internet that allows us to organise our protests, petitions, letters and rally further support. Special interest groups are already lining up to have their personal grievances blacklisted. I have tried to obtain this list of illegal websites myself but it is exempt from freedom of information requests, the fact that it's not open to public audit speaks volumes. We lose free-speech if the ability to block content even exists, because such a system will always be abused by extreme pro-censorship groups. The biggest argument against free-speech is "Think of the Children" which is ironic because that's exactly what I am doing. I want future generations to enjoy the freedoms I did, and live in a democracy like I do/did. The minister has suggested that people against the censorship, are supporting child pornography. When nothing could be further from the truth. Humans are stupid by nature and simply suggesting a link between anti-censorship and child pornography causes the uneducated majority to really behind the censorship scheme. However if you ask those same people whether they think they should have free speech, the general response is the exact opposite. This highlights a drastic shortage of intelligence in today's society.

I would never server my country. Freedom is worth defending, but considering it my government that is attacking my freedom it would make more sense to join a terrorist group that serve a government that doesn't look out for my interests. I have considered trying to start a political party that stands up for the average Aussie, but people just aren't committed unless there is a huge cash incentive to motivate them.

Where as if the thief had needed to arm himself for self defence it would have been a very different outcome. But he was, it would be pretty easy to stop a unarmed thief going about your house. He was armed with a hunting knife, I knew if I didn't act as he wanted I'd be in pretty bad shape, gave him the stuff he wanted and he was on his way. But if he knew you where going to shoot him, that would have been an incentive for him to incapacitate you before you even get the opportunity to co operate.
