thats why I dont watch the news or read the newspaper. They show one side of the story, but not the other. So if you just watch the news and not think for yourself, you are always getting only half the story.

Being older isnt as great as you'd think. im 17, and a lot of times i wish i was still 12 or 13. Theres a lot to rack your brain over, like girls, school, getting accepted into college, how your gonna pay for college, sports, friends, peer pressure. When i was 12, i went to school, and played with friends, and did homework, i didnt care about girls lol yeah they were cute, but they werent a big deal, love wasnt something i strived for. :P but yeah, im 17, but i look like im 22, so whenever I meet someone new they ask why im hanging out with a bunch of highschooles hahaha.

The decisions that people make, and the way certain people decide to present themselves in this society, set us apart. If anything id walk by the teacher every day and talk slightly louder than I usually would, just so she hears, and say somethin like "Man, that video was awesome, im so glad i put it on youtube" because she cant do anything, if she gives you a detention, there are organizations out there for student who are punished unjustly. I had a friend who got suspended for a week for throwing pudding at a kid who called him a derogatory name. The one who said the name wasnt given any form of punishment, so my friend looked up the orginazation and contacted them, and they sent a letter to the school that told them off. By the time all was said and done the week was already up, but my friend was given an apology letter, and a personal apology. He framed the letter and it still hangs in his room lol ill ask him about it and post back if you get in trouble.

a friend of mine was kicked out of prom because of his reputation. Him and his gf were having a good time, dancing it up, drinking punch. and they kicked him out because they said he was out in the parking lot drinking, in a 5 minute period where he was gone. he was in the bathroom....

My school is mostly inhabitated by emo's so my thoughts on Chavs would probably be the same if I had personal experience with them. And I dont see emo's as a bunch of overly dramatic self mutilating freaks, because I know several people who cut themselves, who dont fit into the "emo" stereotype. and its not that i utterly despise emo's, because I have friends who are emo's. I just dont find them to be as individual as they say, and it annoys the crap outta me so i often voice my opinion about em as if I with they would all jump off a cliff :P

I find them to be complete drones of the media. If you look at a lot of the major bands of the past couple years, what do you see? Emo's. Emo's are just the flavor of the decade Sure right now you might be "expressing the individualism" right now, your not gonna be like that in 20 years, if you do your income might be matched to to that of a highschool dropout. Trust me, you may be an emo right now, but you wont be forever, so therefore your not being yourself if you are yourself, you may mature over time, but overall your not gonna change dramatically. As a mosher, i mosh to have fun, i dont let it take over my life. its not my lifestyle, its a hobby, my hobbies may change, but ill still be who I am with my own beliefs for the rest of my life.

Well, that solves that mystery. If you ask me, you're just trying to create a thread that will gain in popularity like the "Investigating the Wise Old Man" thread and eventually be featured on the Hot Topic. My recommendation: if you want to get a really popular thread going, come up with your own idea for thread. Make it unique, not just a spinoff of an existing thread. I think this idea is cool, investigating the history of certain places in runescape. Just because its investigating something doesnt mean its a rip-off of the investigating the wise old man, but i geuss investigating stuff is now taboo in your eyes.
