  1. Larders are actually quite slow compared to flatpacking carved oak tables. Oak larders require you to constantly switch in and out of building mode, wasting a lot of time. not if you use the lyre tele method, because when you go into your house, you can just click building mode once, also that means you dont have to open doors if your glory is several rooms away... stupid me, not planning ahead in my house development #-o now i dont have enough cash to change my dumb house layout
  2. my friend showed me a VERY effective way to get 60k xp per hour without using a butler. it requires a few quests though.. you need to have your house in rellekka and have a mounted glory, and have about 30 lyres. lyres can be recharged with raw bass if you have a ring of charos (a) so it's more or less free. simply use lyre to tele to house with an inventory full of oak planks, make 3 larders, glory tele to edgeville, and repeat. it works very well
  3. no, you can fix it all the way, it just costs less, depending on your smithing lvl. if you have 99 smithing, it costs half of what it costs to take it to an npc
  4. Thats lame.... welcome to treasure trail armors. people will pay a lot of money for looks, which is good for me, because that means when i get a clue, i can sell junk for a lot of cash
  5. its 1950 gp for the full set
  6. i usually leave private chat on unless i get a ton of people annoying me all at once, which has only happened twice in about 3 years, so it's most likely on
  7. i tried it myself. here's the result
  8. someone in the help and advice forum stated that if you use a raw herring with a tree, it says "this isn't the mightiest tree in the forest" still havent gotten around to trying it myself though
  9. i never said the drops werent useful, i just said they were too annoying for me to bother killing them
  10. oh well as far as i know the only thrower trolls that you can fight are the ones on death plateau. and no, you wont need prayer potions, but you will need a lot of food, or guthans
  11. To clarify, it says "This is NOT the mightiest tree in the forest." Makes me wonder if there is a tree somewhere that works. Let's see. What are some "interesting trees" in Rs? 1) Lost City quest starting tree with the leprechaun in it. 2) Entrana quest tree 3) Draynor bank tree with the guard hiding in it 4) Draynor manor attack trees 5) Wildy charcoal trees (?) ... wow you are really overthinking this... have you ever watched monty python and the holy grail? if not, i highly suggest it, then that quote will make a lot more sense to you
  12. you can fight the thrower trolls, but they are more annoying than thier drops are worth. no, they dont hit as high as troll generals, but they hit more often. d hally will work, but you have to find the right spot and sometimes another troll can sneak around and hit you from behind.
  13. i got them, thanks for the help. d hally spec ftw
  14. just to clarify, the "gorilla greegree" needed for the rfd quest is the bones of the monkey guards in the temple right? the ones that regenerate thier hp? if so, how do you kill them? thanks
  15. devious minds only requires 65 smithing.....
  16. ive heard of people looting whips and even barrows items from alching in dharok's tomb... people not paying attention to prayer, lagging, etc. not saying this is the most honorable thing to do, but whatever
  17. tip it has a wonderful key guide
  18. even if you have protection prayers you will need a lot of food because the skeletons in the tunnel can hit pretty hard on me, with 75 def. either food or a lot of prayer pots
  19. fishing shop at catherby sells them i think
  20. unless you spend it on construction like i did
  21. i was afraid of that.... i just blew all my cash on altar
  22. i just did this, im at lvl 67 construction though. to use evil dave's stew you must use 3 orange spices with a normal stew. it has a random effect on your construction lvl up to +or- 6 lvls. i am not sure if the tea stacks on top of the stew or replaces it, but i do know that the saw stacks on top of the stew. what i want to know is, do the type of burners affect how much experience each bone gives, or just lighting them? so if i have a gilded altar and basic burners lit, will i get the maximum xp?
  23. lol i heard of one person getting a left half from a hill giant, even had a pic, but i dont know if it was a fake or not
