October 1, 200619 yr I heard from someone if i use raw herring on a tree i get a message. I tried this and it said "This is the mightiest tree in the forest." Which peaked my curiousity, which tree is the mightiest? I tried it on regular, oak, and magic tree. Same message for all.
October 1, 200619 yr Really? If that's true, it's a reference to the film Monty Python and the Holy Grail. There are 10 types of people in the world:* Those who understand binary* Those who don't- - -Greatest J Mod Quote Ever / My bug collection / Raise your agility! / What exactly is "Anti-scam"?
October 1, 200619 yr It is! "You must find the mightiest tree in the forrest and cut it down with a .....*dramatic music*... HERRING!" It's the second quest king Arthur gets from the knights who say "NI". They first have to find a shrubbery. I haven't found a reference to that, though.... October 1, 200619 yr That's hilarious...I havnt tried it, but i love when Jagex puts funny things like that in.
October 3, 200619 yr Lol, that's hilarious. Didn't know Jagex had a sense of humors, or at least I doubted that they did sometimes.
October 3, 200619 yr "This is the mightiest tree in the forest."/quote] To clarify, it says "This is NOT the mightiest tree in the forest."

Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law is both. For a wounded man shall say to his assailant: "If I live, I will kill you, If I Die, you are forgiven." Such is the Rule of Honor.

October 3, 200619 yr "This is the mightiest tree in the forest." To clarify, it says "This is NOT the mightiest tree in the forest." Makes me wonder if there is a tree somewhere that works. Let's see. What are some "interesting trees" in Rs? 1) Lost City quest starting tree with the leprechaun in it. 2) Entrana quest tree 3) Draynor bank tree with the guard hiding in it 4) Draynor manor attack trees 5) Wildy charcoal trees (?) ...

October 3, 200619 yr ...then that quote will make a lot more sense to you It's not about the quote at all. It's about wondering if Jagex hid additional in-game jokes for us to find and enjoy. It's just speculation about what Jagex might find amusing and how far they might have gone in providing it...
