1. Haha, thanks for the good read. Kudos to the guy who thought that up, creative article. :)
2. I was thinking about this too; unless we get everyone to come with a 50 combat range it would be extremely hard to carry out the MSSW's. Even with the clan wars, the opts are so massive all of us could not possibly fit in the arena in one clan chat. I do hope they change this. I really look foward to the MSSW's every year. :(
3. What does a d-hide body alch for? 4680. If nat prices are a steady 280 each, then this failsafe stops players for buying less than the high-alching price and making a profit off the stupidity of others. That's basically the definition of merchanting; making profit off other's stupidity. :P
4. VICTORY Battle report Das! Stunning numbers everyone; I'd like to thank each and every one of you for attending. The war started off a bit shaky; dbz decided to enter the wilderness before the event start (which was not against the rules) and camp at the ruined castle. Well, the second everyone crossed the ditch it was an absolute mess. In a mass confusion, tip.iters went in all directions, apparently either trying to find dbz or just going for the ruined castle. Well, everyone eventually met up at the castle, and a few minutes later RSC attacked with around 30-40 people. The rest was a slaughter, no other words can describe it. 20 tip.iters piled on one person, killing level 100+'s in seconds. The organisation was great; tip.iters actually used the "tip *player name*" call which was very efffective. Past the RSCers, we also took down some orange capers, purple capers, and blue capers. I can honestly say that was the best wilderness event I have ever attended (and I've been to 15+). Our mass recruitment program payed off as in the end, hundreds of tip.iters remained. Unfortunely... the afterwar consisted of mass bsing, at which point I was attacked 3 times by 10 of my own men. :| But overall; this will be a day to remember. The doubters have been proven wrong, the tides of war have changed, and the underestimated have dominated. :) [hide=Pictures] [/hide]
5. No doubt. Could find the 2nd one, but here is the 5th: http://youtube.com/watch?v=EhURiclR7bQ
6. That would be +12 GMT; 7 in the morning. :|
7. It will be extremely hard to try to target a person from a fansite, but we'll be aiming for the alliance. Although the alliance will be attacking RSC, RSC has so many experienced clansmen that they equal all the other sites put together. I meant isolate the fansites, but individuals. :P
8. Thanks for the graph dustin. Now that we've pulled off mass signature advertising, homepage advertising, and invited a few clans, I think everyone (including tip.it!) will be overwhelmed with our amount of opts. Dbz - you need to get everyone to pile on you, take a screenshot of the opts, I think this will be a time to remember. :P Our main worries would obviously be RSC, but their primary focus would be on the alliance. Sals pulled a good number of replies, but from past MSSW's I think we can assume they will be crushed by the tip.it powerhouse and/or RSC. The alliance is probably our biggest enemy. I don't know how dbz wants to approach this, but considering that we are not the primary target of the alliance, and they will be aiming for RSC, I think it would be best if we tried to take down them first. Perhaps we could somehow isolate each little fansite in the alliance if they don't stick together, just absolutely slaughter them and move on to the next. Or another strategy that I think RC tried last time (I think) - wait for the other fan sites to kill eachother, weaken their opts. Then attack when they are weak. It might be a strategy to consider. I'll leave that up to Dbz.
9. There has been a large increase in the number of randoms, and how often you get them over these recent years. I remember back in early 2005 when the only randoms you would really get were the wise old man and a few others. :| They can be a bit annoying, too. I once encountered five evil bobs in one hour; two of them being fishing, the other three (possibly the most annoying one :P ) popping balloons. I am grateful, however, that jagex appears to be cutting down on some of the old randoms, seeing as their purpose has long expired (stopping autoers).
10. By the looks of it, I'm going to guess that it's a lion's head. 8-) I'm seeing the picture as if it were an abyssal monster thing. There's the head on top (with the dark area the eye) and half of the body. Of course I'm wrong, but I'm just throwing that idea out there :XD: It could be the spirit wolf, it has the same hair style. :) I'll be looking foward to part 3 so we can hopefully get a firm understanding of what this mystery creature is. :P
11. There will be no squads or groups in this war. With an event this size, it would be near impossible to organize something like that. Follow these basic & easily-learnable tactics (http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=716079#5403715) & you'll perform much better. Technically, you are allowed to return since there is no rule against it, but it's sort of an unwritten rule not to return. I believe dustin posted somewhere that returning is not allowed. :)
12. We don't need to worry. They can't possibly have enough mages to make a dent. They'll probably get teamed on very quickly. Indeed. Need not worry, mages/rangers always get killed first in the MSSW's. .
13. Hey guys, here's a tip.it MSSW3 signature if you wish to use it: [b]The MSSW3 is here! 14. Too busy fighting KBD. =P~ Naw just kidding. I apologize for not bumping your blog, I'll do it now. As for the bank pic, I might put one up soon along with a few other KBD pictures. As for the signature, MSSW3 is top priority now and unfortunately even a KBD head drop siggy can't beat it. After the MSSW3, however, I will put up a signature linking to my blog. :)
15. Thanks, glad to see someone is enjoying all my different outfits and taking a peek at my KBD kill. :)
16. My friend, that video never ceased to amaze me. Great k0s and specials. Very nice. =D>
17. Congratulations on 99! :) I'll definately try to make it. :)
18. They usually last around an hour, although it's quite unpredicatable. :|
19. Please try to remember that this is a very late time for Americans and Europeans, so there are usually very few mods on. And also remember moderators are people just like you. They aren't slaves to these forums, there is no contract between themselves and tip.it. Try to cut them some slack considering they are purely volunteers who devote their time to helping tip.it.
