Creature of Fenkenstrain & Fremmineek Trials
transcript80 replied to Tunedskyline's topic in Help and Advice
You can thieve the ring back from dr frenkenstrain, found on the top level of the mansion. You can cut a branch from the big tree east of the Fremmy village and cut it into a lyre, like you did in the quest. I'm not sure on how to string them, i guess you have to buy it from the troll with the cooking pot a little further more east. Of course you have to enchant it, using a raw shark, or a raw bass if you thieved yor ring of Charos back earlier (and wearing it of course :P ). -
check your quest log, what doe it say?

So... i died and lost my diamond from the ardougne dungeon dude (I think it's the smoke diamond.) question: can i get it back or do i have to kill the dud again? thanks for your input EDIT: it is the diamond of SHADOW!!! sorry for the mess-up

Add to that a ring of Charos (Frenkenstrain quest). Bareak in varrock will buy you grey wolf fur for 150 ea! You can even try to buy the fur in ardougne for say 100 ea, and make a nice profit. There are a lot of ppl selling/dropping their GWF!

last night, i was in the taverly dungeon for some water orb charging. As I was making my way throught the blue drags, i witched screens for the map to go to the water column (or whatever its name is). When i switch bach, my health bars is dangerously red, and a black demon just give me the final blow... I FORGOT TO TURN ON PRAYER!!!! losses: glory rune legs battle staff However! There was a lone fisherman at lava eels who must have seen thids unfortunate/stupid event, and I hope he's a tip.itter, and also nice enough to give it back? I couldn't get his name from the screen... I'm not asking for free stuff to anyone, I just would like to get "my" legs and glory back!! I COULD afford some new ones, I'm not that poor, but hey, I thought to give it a try. Every (kind) offer for replacement I appreciate, but will be turned down, as it was my own fault I died (dam stupid of me....)

productive stuff i can do while high alching?
transcript80 replied to donutjunkie's topic in Help and Advice
If you get your agility up a bit, you could go to brimhaven agility course. Usually, you have to wait a bit between tagging the pillars. That would be a nice time to alch some items. And gaining some otherwise rather annoying agility levels.. I HATE trainin agility... -
what the others just said.... Add to that: using prayer is in NO WAY dishounorable!! You worked for that prayer to get it, so you are alowed to use it to your full advantage. Some monsters, minigames etc are impossible to complete without it. It is tough going, though, to get it up. Just bury ANY single bone us see/get, all those little bits of exp tend to add up... And nothing better then getting the message "congrats, you just advanced a prayer level" when you leat expect it! Go to the bone yard fot those big bones respaws. Wear nothing (or 3 items and don't get skulled) and start burying! Good luck

assuming you are member again, you can get them back in Varrock, where you start the "family crest" quest, a little south-east of varrock east bank. If you are F2P, you can't get them back since they are members only. Also, when you get them back , they com in the same enchantment as when you dropped them... so if you changed them for example into smithing gauntlets, they'll be that when you collect them. Good luck!

I think he means the puzzle you have to solve in the hangar... I'm quite good at it, but I have to admit that I also used the quest guide of an other help site. On runehq (sorry) there was a nice pic with an example of what the puzzle should look like. To get it that way, it is easiest to work row by row, from the top down. Good luck! Note: perhaps someone can take a screeny of the puzzle and add it to the guide? That would help a lot of people, and well, runehq just isn't as nice as tip.it....especially the forums.

you can also craft range armour by bringing tanned hides, a needle and thread to the island.

Values? What do they mean and do you feel you have them?
transcript80 replied to Greedom1's topic in General Discussion
well...it's a game. I play it as such. I couldn't care less if someone repects me or not. I agree that paople should not scam and "swear" in game, but I never do "honorable" stuff. I play the game by the rules made by JaGEx, and I am playing the game for FUN (and skills), not for respect. I'll get my share of respect in RL. Yes, that's a lot of I's in a row. But then again, it's just me playing the game, I have no "friends" in RS, I pefer my RL ones. I'm not trying to be obnoxious or anything, and I try to be polite in game, but all I'm really interested in, when playing RS is MY guy after all. And having fun, of course. As soon as fun disappears, I'll be SO outta RS, and nobody will "mourn" for me. In which I didn't see the point anyways.... -
Merchants have not traditional skills (no exp points for them!!) but it sure as hell requires skill to merchant the right way. Me, i only do it on a small scale, for example when making bowstrings out of flax. There are ppl wo sell theirs for 120gp or so. I only sell for 150 or above, even my own that I else would use for raising fletching. That makes a measly (?) 30+ gp ea, but when done a lot of times or in bulk, it adds up. I would be like the occasional merchant, not full timing. Some people are really dedicated to having billions of gp, and the only way to get them is merching. I have no objection to that, I just have other priorities (all skills to 99, lol!). I just HATE whining of merchants. "oh no, phat went down from 26M to 24M, i lost 265M!!!!" If you can't handle the obvious risk involves, stay out of the business. The same after the "essence-gate". "OMG i lost mills"...well, that's the risk of merchanting EVERY item, be it phats or essence!
-
RC at 46... only skill under 50! yay! BUT: going for the big 50 soon! Just need the ess. And then....big pouch, and finish that 8%^%&^$^ devious minds quest!! yay!

3 May 2006 - RuneScape - Better than ever!
transcript80 replied to primadog's topic in General Discussion
Although i support all measurements taken against autoers, this more and more seems to me like a witch hunt. Yes, I know most people are sincere in reporting oters for rule breaking, but I think JaGEx should take caution not to initiate a "GeStaPo" culture of "autoer-hunters". I mean, I play this game for raising skills (and making some money while doing so), not to report others! Sure, I hear you when cutting yews/magics and autoers are "stealing" ur tree, but well, I for myself just go elsewhere and go on with my business... -
Members Quests, which should I do first?
transcript80 replied to KingofLodis's topic in Help and Advice
and of course "Tears of Guthix" It really helped me getting my RC up with the free xp you get from this very nice minigame! You might want to do the Zamorak mage miniquest for use of the abyss. That really helps crafting p2p runes if you are willing to take the risks involved. -
Complete (parts of) the recipy for disaster quest. The more part you complete, teh higher gloves you can buy. You need to finish the whole quest for the "dragon" gloves.
