  1. You forget to mention the when he/she raises agility for a whole month, he/she will nver play RS ever again because it is SOOOOOO BOOOOOOOOOORING.... You might try it though, as well as all other P2P features, because he IS right that it is the only member skill that helps you even when you are F2P.
  2. I don't think it mathers WHO you will free, it's just the number of persons that matters. Of course you'll want to free them all, Barrows gloves are REALLY good!
  3. atheism 79% Buddhism 71% agnosticism 71% Islam 63% Christianity 54% Satanism 46% Judaism 38% Paganism 25% Hinduism 21% Disturbing: the little difference between christianity and satanism.... Well, I'll never be a "good" christian... Too much time of being a scientist prevented that a long time ago. While most ppl in the forums scream "no pic no proof", I would imply that on God... I DO belive in God, but I don't think he waved his magic wand and created it all", not that he/she/it has the power to influence the daily life: why else would there be war, suffering and so on if H/She/It would be all-mighty? In that case, I prefer "Bruce Allmighty"! Anyway, the word "believing" says it all, there's no proof!
  4. When I don't pay a framer, I tend to experience more failure on higher crops then on lower ones... So only "max farm" if you have the stuff to pay the farmer. I wouldn't discard potatoes, though. I grow them all the time, especially when I run out of "decent" seeds to farm or run out of super compost. The potatoes are the base for the all-famed "tuna and sweetcorn potatoe" which heals as much as shark but require a lower level to cook (and never fail!). I it generally agreed that trees give best xp, but I think bushes are nice too. Also, picking the bush gives you new super-compostable items (jangerberries!) to sustain your supply of super compost. I particularly like my very own pineapple bush/tree in Catherby... gets me...er... 7-ish pineapples every time I visit!
  5. * finish all quests * get 70 defence so I can wear Barrows aromour * 60+ in all skills * abyssal whip AND HAVE FUN! Another x- mill wouldn't be bad either (It's SO cliche to say "99 in all stats + 2100Bill ", so I made up the previous...)
  6. If P2P bowstrings: pick flax at seers (Lleyta maybe) and spin into bowstring. From nothing you just made yourself 150-180 gp, and since you have the required lvl 15, it's a nice, fairly quick and profitable way of gaining crafting exp. F2P? Then I think leather is fastest. Get your own cow hides to save some money and gain a few combat exp on the way. Craft gold jewelry (WITH GEMS ONLY) when you have the materials/level. Good luck
  7. Remeber, tears of Guthix can be your friend in this. If you didn't start construction AT ALL (you own no house) then it doesn't count as your lowest skill. If farming is your lowest skill, tears all the way!!! Especially when you did nearly all quests, as the time in the cave is related to that. As for actual farming advice: I use super compost on herbs (all the time), flowers only when it's limpwurt roots, and on allotment when growing tomatoes or higher. For starting out: make lots of regular compost, grow potatoes and pay the famer for guaranteed harvests. If I don't pay the farmer for bushes/trees, I use supercompost as well. If I DO pay the farmer for them, compost has no use as you get the majority of the xp from checking health, not harvesting its fruits. For all trees/fruit trees I recommend paying the farmer, as these seeds are rare/expensive. I rarely farm hops. I just don't see a use in it, the patches seem remote to me as well....nah just not my cuppa tea.... I don't have a fixed rout for farming. There are people who do, see Leesters power farming guide in the general P2P forums sticky "archive of wisdom". I farm patches when I'm near them doing my daily stuff. For example, as I'm smelting in port Phastmatys atm, I farm the patch there. In between, I work on my slayer assignment (aberrant spectres) checking in to the farming stuff as I bank. Maybe not the fastest xp, but you don't have to wait (AAAH #-o ) or teleport your a** off through RS...
  8. agility: you could use the piramid, but I'm not sure wether it's efficient at lvl 43, and brimhaven isn't either, because you can't take all the obstacles. So train until lvl45 at barbarians, then go either to piramid or brimhaven agility arena, up to lvl 56 if you want. Don't forget the wildy arena at lvl 52, it's fast exp, but beware as it is in the much hated wilderness.... Ranged: I liked ranging fire giants (safespots!!!) or bloodvelds if you have them for slayer. Else you can range werewolves in canifis bank (safespot over the table) or blue dragons in the hero's guild or ogre shaman cave near ardougne. About the secondary ingredients for heblore: you can also collect snape grass on the dagganoth island, there are numerous spawns there. For me, I don't like it, but I heard it's fast. If you started or did a part of the recipy for disaster quest, you'll have acces to the culinaromancer's chest, which has 50 chocolate bars and also some chocolate dust in stock. Buy them for fast, many and easy chocolate dust. I agree on the previous auther NOT to go with defence potions, as you should use the ranarrs for prayer potions. You can also get the herbs in edgeville dungeon, from chaos druids. WATCH OUT for PKers (got PKed last week   boy do I HATE these guys). Make the best potions you can, with the herbs available. If you want to save on vials a bit, combine the potions to (4) dose. For magic: you can high-alch in mage training room near duelling arena, or enchant lvl4 on the enchantment room. You'll get xp, runes, and bonusses. There is a nice guide about it on tip.it! Else, do your combat the mage-way, especially in combination with slayer!
  9. blow some money on construction, and get it ranked (30+ that is) to make your signature look better :P Else.... Quests of course!!!! I LOVE quests, nearly completed them all!!!
  10. You can kill only the slayer monsters at or below your slayer lvl. Or you can use a slayers respite or a wild pie to temporarily boost your slayer level. It's not really recommended, because as soon it drops, you have to use a new one to pot up. Some ppl believe that higher slayer level gives better assignment, and they pot up right before talking to a slayer master... I don't know wether it's true about the assignment improvement, though...
  11. Well....If you are a member you have an increased chance of getting one of the good ones, because there are more sorts of randoms anyway. And what do you call a good random? I think we all agree the drunken dwarf is anoying, and so is the sandwich lady, but a MoM dropping by a gem from his mystery cube is quite good to me too! And in the 2 years of playing (1 year F2P, 1 year P2P) I NEVER got a maze or a mime or quiz! I got evil Bob once, boy was that annoying. I didn't really know what to do, spent allmost half an hour on his island... That should eleminate macroers!
  12. yesterday i got Pked in the edgeville wildy by the new crossbow... lost glory, rune legs, bunch of ranarrs and my precious rune kite... All I was doing was garthering herbs from these choas druids.... It was a pointless PK anyways, he can shove the 150k he got somewhere dry... *gets over it* *sees he's got enough herbs and seconds to level herblore* *finishes fairy pt II quest* *cheers "omg only 2 to go!!!"* easy come, easy go....
  13. Best is to bring prayer boosting gear. Last time I tried (and failed, btw, I need more agility for the handholds) I used monk robes (top/bottom)m initiate helm, prayer book (Guthix yay!!!) and boots of lightness. My weapon of choice: d-long, I just like it :? Take prayer pots(4) or super restores (might restore more prayer points then ppot) , some high leveled food and/or agility pots in case you fail the handholds (I used tuna & sweetcorn potatoes), some energy pots to keep on running. I heard the guide is good, so you (and me as well) should be able to pull it off.... For me: 2 quests to go, currently smiting my way up to 63 for devious minds, then back to the temple of light it is....
  14. Firemaking is quite boring, as stated before. I like farming, but that's because I don't stand around gathering dust while looking at my crops to grow. The winner is (not per se boring, especially in the wilderness) AGILITY I HATE training agility, though I like its benefits... Ah well, no pain no gain.... #-o
  15. First time that I died... EVIL dark wizzards... stumbled upon them in full....erm IRON I think, tried to run away but failed miserably.... When I got to lvl50+ or so, during my last F2P weeks, I got my revenge and massacred a whole lot of them
  16. I'm really interested in a PC group that would accpet me (lvl89cmbt) AND play in european times... Y'all play when I'm supposedly sleeping... European version of affliction pl0x1!!one!!1!1!
  17. I allready brought it up in the improve cooking guide section, but meh... I'm gonna try this while standing next to Doric's anvil with that mith 2hander (and restores) to get the devious minds quest over with... should be enough to get me from lvl 61 to lvl 65.... It just takes TOO long to get smithing up using my own dug up gold ores and gold smithing gaunts.... After that....try it for herblore as well....Fairy tale pt II completed? Shame I cannot use it for MEP II...well, just gonna do it the hard, long and tedious way...
  18. Why not do just that? Asking for someones time zone is not against the rules (i think), because it reveals close to nothing about your location. As time zones are referred to in Wikipedia as UTC (click here for ref) you know nothing about my whereabouts when I say I'm in UTC +1. I could be in Sweden, the Vatican, Congo or Namibia for all you would know (too bad my country is visable in my profile...giveaway! :) ) There are so many possibilities in one time zone, that the other player could be close to anywhere.
  19. all of these can be bought at the gnome stronghold for a small price. This is the easiest because there's a complete bar over there with everything you need to make the fruit blast/dirty blast. Pineapples and oranges can also be farmed, and pineapple bushes are available for picking on Karamja
  20. I would go on maging. Your added range will make you hit him more and faster then when battling melee style. Bring Staff, runes and enough of good food (I used tuna potatoes, I suggest at least lobbies) and mage the guy, while eating when hit. The range also prevents you from getting hit often by the cranes. Good luck, because he is a tough b*st*rd!
  21. It degraded/decayed. you can have it fixed by the dark mage inside the abyss. It's the one near the centre. Just talk to him/use the pouch on him and he'll fix it.
  22. Weel, for herblore you could get a bunch of tarromins and make serum 207. That way you don't have to get limpwurt roots. Since it's pretty mich worthless, you can empty the vials and make nwe ones. Remeber, you can do legends with a greenmans ale to boost herblore +1 temporarily. Suggested to bring 2 or 3 in case u mes up planting the seed.
  23. you cannot make them, you can either buy them in the Caninfis clothes shop or get them as a drop form monsters. I know for certain that crawling hands drop colored gloves, and I've gotten green gloves from dagganoths. Of course you can look it up in the bestiary.
  24. dont trai on dummies...they give nothing but xp... instead, slay chickens...you'll get feathers!
  25. I found him at the duel arena, but I thinks it's diferent for each player. Just use the amulet of cat speak (as stated in the quest guide) and search him.
